Mi Corazón es Tuyo Lunes 9/29/14 #51

Capitulo 51: Three Coins In the Fountain

Lascuráin Mansion: Isabitch went on the offensive by being offensive to Ana, demanding that she stay away from Fernando.
Ana took it quite calmly, telling her – with something of a smirk – that the kiss in the hall was an accident. Isabitch ordered her to shut up and said she would like to arrange an accident that would get her out of the way. She ordered her out of her room and growled in the wake of Ana's departure.

Isabela might think herself beautiful but her behavior is so ugly,” said Aphrodite. “I don't see how any man could fall in love with her.”

Only with divine intervention,” said Eros. “And not mine this time.”

Ana closed the door behind her and pointed at the twins, telling them she's going to have a serious talk with them over this.
She marched them to their room, Luz approving their actions behind Ana's back.

La Costeña: Enrique started describing water ecology and diamond mining to Fanny as an example about supply and demand.
“Everything can all be explained mathematically.” he said. She asked whether love can be explained that way. He started talking about chemical reactions during attraction which sounded like it made perfect sense but looked as though it completely confused her.

This is completely inappropriate,” said Athena. “He is definitely crossing the line.”

He is also deliberately confusing her,” said Hera. “I'm still wondering whether he lusted after her mother first.”

Marguerita's Neighborhood: León took several large boxes out of a taxicab. Marguerita and a female neighbor helped him get it into Marguerita's apartment.
His cell rang and this time it's good news; he has a job.

Pharmacy: Nando and Nicolás looked around furtively as though they didn't want anyone to notice them. Nando hesitated and Nick had to urge him to make the approach.
Finally he went up to the counter to request condoms. The female clerk named the types they had from regular to ones in colors to ones that glow in the dark. Nick was desperately trying to keep a straight face behind a magazine as the clerk recommended some cherry ones. Nando looked back when she asked how many and Nick held up four fingers. The clerk yelled to a stockboy to get four packages. Nando asked why she needed to shout.

Poor boy looks like he wishes he could disappear,” said Aphrodite. “I'll have to see to it that it's worth his while.”
He looked back at Nick and noticed that the magazine was upside down. The clerk came back with the traditional brown paper bag, announcing it was ready. Nando commented briefly on her lack of discretion as he paid her. It was only then that he and his grandfather noticed the sign indicating that the store delivered.

Lascuráin Mansion: Alex and Guille promised they didn't do anything. Ana didn't buy it, reminding them that they made that promise when they put the plastic spider in Isabruja's soup. She warned them that she was going to have to tell their father and that there will be consequences. They became very nervous. As she walked out of their room, the two boys pleaded with her, then hugged each other, frightened.

In the library Diego was doing some internet searching on his laptop for private investigators while Fernando was helping Sebastián with his homework in the kids' playroom. Ana told him she had had a talk with the twins about their latest prank. Sebastián laughed at the image of Isabruja with blue hair. Fernando ordered him to stop talking that way because Zerobela was not a bruja [We differ on that one, mortal].
Alicia said it was bad that the twins did these things and this started an argument that Isabruja arrived just in time for. Sebastián said that “The witch deserved it” just as she entered the room. Ana tried to get them to stop and Isabruja asked Fernando why he permitted them to refer to her that way. Fernando tried to get her to calm down, saying he was going to consequence all of them. Of course, Isabruja pulled the martyr act, saying she almost lost her vision but “Thank God the evil failed.”

Ana said this was only a prank, but Fernando was obdurate. He said sternly that there were going to be limits from now on. Sebastián asked why he believed everything Isabruja said.
Ana kept whispering to him to take deep breaths and calm down, but Sebastián was not listening. Fernando said he would not tolerate these pranks anymore. Isabruja asked Sebastián why he hated her and the boy replied that she was a hypocrite. She claimed never to have done anything to him, but he said “You're evil. I can feel it here,” indicating his heart. Fernando told him to calm down. Sebastián looked at him and said “Thanks, Dad. I hope you'll be very happy” and left the room. Fernando followed him, leaving the women alone. Alicia said that Sebastián was hysterical.
Isabruja commented that with Ana being useless as a nanny they were all lost in that house. She left the room. Alicia started to follow her, but turned back to Ana, saying she would talk to Isabela. Ana took a few deep breaths and counted.

Fernando followed Sebastián into the boys' bedroom and immediately told the twins off. This would be the last prank and from now on there would be restrictions. Effective immediately they would have no toys, games, or tablet computers. On Sunday they would have to buy shampoo for Isabela. They were to apologize to her immediately. He pointed toward the door and they yessed him before going out of the room. When he turned to Sebastián, the boy was already listening to music on his headphones while looking at a book. He finally took off the headphones and Fernando tried to talk. However, Sebastián asked him to leave him alone. Fernando conceded, asking to talk later.
Sebastián agreed, and Fernando left the room, telling his son he loved him. As soon as he was out the door Sebastián put his headphones back on and looked at an event announcement on his tablet.
Nando found Diego in the library and said he needed to talk to him. He took the seat opposite him, Diego closed his laptop and said he had his undivided attention. Nando explained after some hesitation that Ximena had invited him for intimate activities.
Ana happened to be walking by at that moment as Diego reacted in some surprise and Nando talked about being nervous about this. He had no idea how to begin. Diego talked about being amorous, loving, and willing to please. He is not to force anything and allow everything to come naturally. Ana loved listening to this.

Ah, Diego, I taught you well,” said Aphrodite.

You're not supposed to boink mortals,” said Poseidon.

Excuse me, but you do. I have just as much right,” she answered. “Now leave me alone while I help Ximena get ready. Nando deserves a good first time.”

She then waved her hand through the air to make the right cosmetics, perfume, and clothes appear for Ximena.

Diego told Nando that it wasn't important if he made mistakes because Ximena would understand his lack of experience. “But what if she doesn't?” he asked. “Then, forgive me for saying so but then she doesn't love you enough. Sex is important, but what's much more important is love.”

Ana was sufficiently captivated by this to not hear Fernando come down the stairs. She quickly got away from the library door, saying he should have warned her. She asked about Sebastián. He said something about her expression, but finally told her that Sebastián asked to be left alone. She started telling him that each of his kids has his own fight and they were all different. He needed to be vigilant so that nothing slipped out of his hands. All parents need to know that. He agreed, saying that Sebastián's hatred of Isabela was very serious.

In the meantime Isabela started whining to Alicia that nobody loved her. Alicia went over to hug her to tell her she was wrong.

Look at the girl's face, Hera. I think she's starting to realize the boys may be right,” said Hermes.

I hope so. Did you see Hissabela make that expression of irritation before that fake wail? This is the worst sort of falsehood.”

Bruno was sneaking into the toy storage room with the armless action figure. He cut out a cape for it, but heard his name being called. He pocketed the figure and went outside to Nick. He made a weak excuse about watering the roses, then asked Nick why he sent for him.

Nick was nervous about his assignation with Jennifer. Bruno gave him the seal of approval and said all should be well.

Jennifer & Ana's House: Jennifer was arranging spotlights for the big night.

Lascuráin Mansion: Fernando looked at his Estefania's portrait and thought about one of his last conversations with her. She was trying to get him to reconcile with Diego, which he had not yet done. He realized she was right.

Upstairs, Ana stopped as she was passing Isabruja's room because the quinceñera was being discussed. The following Saturday. Isa said she would speak to the manager of the club. Alicia told her the band she wanted; the name seemed strange to Isabruja. Ana listened as Alicia started talking about her dress.

In the parlor Fernando approached Diego to talk about his promise to Estefania. She had also asked Diego to make an effort. Fernando said they shouldn't become distanced again.

Do you want me to be happy?” Diego asked.

Of course.”

With Ana?”
Before this revived the conflict Bruno entered in a suit and standard necktie. He was preparing for his date with Manuela.
Fernando and Diego had no time to comment because Manuela entered in a sexy red dress looking for compliments. “Que bonitos ojos tienes,” to be precise. As they headed for the door Fernando reminded them that he still expected breakfast at seven. Manuela said that was fine with her but (wink, wink) she couldn't speak for Bruno. Diego commented about it being couples night.
La Costeña: Enrique and Fanny were working late in his office; he said that the project was taking longer than expected.
Fanny took out her cell to call her dad and tell him she would be later than she had anticipated.

Lascuráin Mansion: Diego commented that maybe he should ask the boss' permission to go out with Ana. “And what if he says No?” asked Fernando. His cell phone interrupted that one. Fanny told him she would be working later but Enrique would drive her home. Fernando was alright with that and as soon as he ended the call he went back to Diego with the same question.
The next interruption was the impending exit of Nando and Nick, who kidded each other on the way out.
Fernando didn't get what was happening, but Diego did.

Fernando looks a little confused,” said Hermes.

He's better off for that,” said Eros.

Chicago Club: A bald man with an entourage entered the club, talking about a variety show. The chorines were dancing on the platform as Doroteo entered and bowed to the bald man as though he were meeting some past king of Spain. He showed them to a table and called a waitress over. Johnny and Diana watched from the curtained area.
She saw he was distracted, but he told her he was thinking of Jenny.
Jennifer & Ana's House: Nick arrived to find a sign on the door asking him to enter. He entered, almost tripping in the darkness.
He called Jenny, who entered and put lights on strategically so she could dance.

Ximena's House: A maid came down to tell Nando that Ximena was waiting upstairs. He was to take a left at the top of the stairs.
He went up, nervously, wondering whether this would be the best or the worst night of his life.
Lascuráin Mansion: Fernando was retreating back into workaholic mode in the library when Ana entered to tell him the children were all in bed and she was about to go out. He gave her his blessing to go out with Diego. She bid him good night. As she walked out he heard Diego's voice in his head telling him that he lost his chance with Ana when he married Isabela.
He knew Diego was right.
Just outside Sebastián knocked on the car window; the chauffeur was asleep at the wheel. He backed away, carrying a large bag.

Hissabela came down the stairs to ask why Fernando hadn't come up to bed. He told her he was waiting to talk with Sebastián. He promised not to wake her. She smiled and said that it was perfectly alright for him to wake her. She kissed him.

She doesn't get that he's so not that into her.”

La Costeña: Enrique was clearly staring at Fanny for a while before saying “You know what? I'm famished. Why don't we go out and eat?”

But, the presentation – “

Take the laptop with you. We'll work there.”

As Fanny closed it and got her purse she didn't notice Enrique staring at her.

Jennifer & Ana's House: Nick was enjoying having a private dancer and Jenny definitely liked coming on to him. Then the electricity went out. Their annoyance didn't last long. Jenny said, “It's better this way. More romantic.” Nick agreed. At a comment about having a private dancer he said something about hoping she would strip. They kissed.

Is anyone else bothered by their age difference?” asked Hera.

No. Nothing mortals do surprises me anymore,” said Hades.

Ximena's House: Ximena led Nando through two lines of candles to an antique sofa.
You are very beautiful,” he said.
Thank you, Mr Propriety,” she said. He thought back to their first meeting and some subsequent encounters. They kissed.

La Scalpore: Bruno led Manuela into the restaurant and kidded her about who was paying.

Jennifer & Ana's House: They headed to the bed.

Ximena's House: Nando slowly began to undress her, pausing to kiss her neck. She returned that move, until it began looking like a Twilight movie.
He apologized for not knowing what to do next, but she wasn't worried about that at all.

Chicago Club: Johnny was concluding his comedy act. No lawyer jokes this time. One of the minions of the bald man approached him and asked him to come to the table. Johnny became nervous, but.... the bald man congratulated him.

La Gran Menizoza (?): Enrique began teasing Fanny that she was her father's daughter, which she seemed to find irritating. That was stopped as soon as the waiter arrived. Fanny looked up and it was... León.

Chicago Club: The bald man told Johnny he liked his routine and gave him his business card so they could meet the next day. Doroteo was watching with a grin.

La Gran Menizoza (?): León explained to Fanny that he needed whatever job he could get at that point. She introduced him to Enrique, who didn't stop observing him and Fanny in their interactions.

Ximena's House: Beyond a pile of blankets Nando and Ximena were sitting by the open window. She took his glasses off and his kiss was badly aimed. He told her he didn't see much without them. She put them back and this kiss was better-placed.

Jennifer & Ana's House: All seemed to have been well except Nick cried out in pain. A sciatica attack! His back hurts! Jenny started kissing the pain away. Or so she thought.

Lascuráin Mansion: Isabruja was about to pass Ana in the hallway; she was holding a steaming coffee cup. Ana was out of uniform, and therefore on her own time. Or so she thought because Isabully made an insulting comment about her being thrown out.
Ana told her she didn't have time for such things because Diego was waiting for her. Zerobela blocked her way with her right arm, saying something about running to Diego because her “charms” no longer worked on his brother. Ana said once more that the kiss was an accident, she had no time for this, and then said that pregnant women weren't supposed to drink coffee.

Who said the coffee was for me?” asked Isabruja.

You're the one who's drinking it,” Ana said. “And therefore – “

Isabitch threw the hot coffee on Ana. As Ana held her blouse away from her skin Isabully backed away with phony apologies before smirking back.

I finally found out what 'naca' means,” said Hera. “That certainly describes what she just did.”

True enough. Not to mention that she makes a poor substitute for an Egyptian queen,” said Persephone. “Do you think someone should throw acid in her face before we send her to Tartarus?”

The idea has some merit. I'll definitely consider it.”

My apologies for the lateness of this entry. See you in the AM.

Urban, thank you for a wonderful recap along with the creative Olympian commentary. You do not have to apologize for it being late because it wasn't.

Enrique is turning out to be the master manipulator with Fanny. By calling her a "fresa" and "daddy's little girl" and if nothing else "not a woman of the world"' he is goading her into proving him wrong. Unfortunately, she is just immature enough to view it as a challenge and try to prove him wrong. That scene just gave me the creeps.

It was also interesting that Diego ended the previous scene with saying that tonight was all about "couples". Then they cut directly to Enrique and Fanny at the restaurant so the viewer had no doubts about where this is headed. Yuk!

Nico/Jennifer, Nando/Ximena were a hoot in their amorous adventures.

Isabella is into physical aggression again this time with coffee. Ana though just had to make that comment . . .

What fun!

Urban, loved the recap, the screenshots, the sidebar commentary by the wise ones. Thanks you! Somehow you capture the photos showing Isabela at her most obnoxious.

One comment re: Friday's episode--Ana was saying that one of her few memories of her mother was of her singing. Then poof--cut to a scene of Yolanda singing by the side of the pool. Now, maybe coincidence, but also maybe be portent of things to come. The writers have their own little sense of irony.

The scene of Ana listening to Diego give love advice to Nando was awfully sweet, her expression so tender. What a shame those two don't seem fated to end up together.

Nando and Ximena, on the other hand, still seem wrong. Maybe it's like Enrique was trying to explain, diamonds and water don't mix (o semejante cosa).

J in Oregon

Jenn said to Nick that someday he should dance for her. He replied, "I hope the dress fits!" Ja ja.

Denise

I am having the most difficulty with Enrique's obvious dishonorable intentions toward Fanny. Does this series have any of the same writers as PSMA?

UA, great recap and stills ... i especially enjoyed these four of your god/goddess quotes:
Isabela might think herself beautiful but her behavior is so ugly,” said Aphrodite. “I don't see how any man could fall in love with her.”
“Only with divine intervention,” said Eros.

“She doesn't get that he's so not that into her.”

“Fernando looks a little confused,” said Hermes.
“He's better off for that,” said Eros.

“I finally found out what 'naca' means,” said Hera.

btw, what Fernando was noticing in Ana was that Ana blushed while listening to Diego's advice to Nando... so Fernando commented that her face was red-ish... and Ana did not want to reveal the convo that was going on at the library so she diverted him with the Sebas issue.

I also ITA with you, UA, about the Reeky and Fanny storyline... UGH!!!

Denise, I too heard that line with Jenn and Nico and was LOL!!

When Ana has not given him some advice/tutoring into how to do it, seems Fernando has one and only one way to enforce discipline... yelling at his kids... he will have to learn to catch himself doing it before he changes strategy. Yelling just doesn't work.

Thank you, UA. Great screenshots, commentary and comments from above.

I fear that Ximena and Nando are headed to disaster, but it was a sweet encounter and the two of them have perfect smiles. Nico and Jenny . . . we'll see but they certainly have their senses of humor intact. Bruno was quite cute as the galan tonight.

But Enrique and Fanny, please no. Seeing Leon and Fanny's reaction to him will only increase Enrique's resolve to conquer Fanny.

Ana needs to leave the mansion and establish occasional contact with the kids. This has been said again and again but she is in such a no-win situation that getting out of there is the only solution. Isabela has been beyond redemption for some time and now seems to be headed for complete evil.

Miserably grey, rainy morning and your recap was the perfect antidote to brighten my day UA. The goddesses were spot on as well, especially in terms of Enrique.

Yes, he's confusing her and playing her and it certainly didn't help that he met the down-trodden Leon. Could just see his wheels turning as he watched her reaction. He makes me sick, and of course Lisardo can just plays these roles with absolute relish. I just pray they don't go there with him and Fanny.

So shoot me, but honestly, I didn't blame Fer for coming down on the twins and even at stopping the language spouting from Seba. I get it, they don't like Isa. Kids can pick up a phoney, but they also need to learn the boundaries of respect to an adult. And though it sickens us because we know the real Isabitch, even they don't and neither does Fer. I guess I'm just not a fan of kids pulling pranks on people because they don't like them only. Just doesn't come off as funny to me and only paints them as out of control.

As for Seba, ok he's hurting, but same applies. Maybe instead of just humoring him, Fer should have pulled the ear phones off and said, no I think we really need to talk. Somehow I think that was a plot ploy to separate them and of course we will be treated to another round of Seba dancing...and lord help us he gets in trouble. Because of course, Ana will be blamed.

Loved the Nando/Diego moment. Love Nando went to his uncle. Guess dear old dad is not exactly role model material where women are concerned right now, so the poor kid wasn't going to ask his advice. I have to stop loving the Diego character so much.

I didn't really get into either of the lovebird moments once they got going. Jen/Nico started amusing, then it was "whatever" and I just don't like Nando and Ximena. My Ick factor went up with them last night. But thank the heavens the boy got protection.

Can Johny get a new job that takes him away for awhile...like a long while.

The hot coffee--Oh.No.She.Didn't! Ana needs to move out NOW. Nanny only when needed.

Daisynjay

Sensational screen shots Urban - they really captured the mood of this episode perfectly.

So many wonderful lines but "Isabela might think herself beautiful but her behavior is so ugly,” said Aphrodite. “I don't see how any man could fall in love with her.” “Only with divine intervention,” said Eros. “And not mine this time”
were among my favorites.

"Diego talked about being amorous, loving, and willing to please. He is not to force anything and allow everything to come naturally". Diego expressed these sentiments beautifully. I think Nando took them to heart...

Urban, I did have a question on the comedy act where the man was congratulating Johnny. You noted "Doroteo was watching with a grin". I thought Doroteo looked very angry. He obviously loathes Johnny and feel he would do everything within his power to keep Johnny down. Did I misinterpret that?

Sebas is the next hot spot needing to be dealt with.

Along with you and others, I shudder at Enrique and Fanny. I can't imagine how on earth he plans to entice her into a relationship. There is nothing sweet or endearing about him, let alone the slightest bit of attraction. He must plan on some master manipulation. At this point, I'm recanting and think maybe she is better off with Leon. Did I just actually say that??

Urban, this was marvelous.

Diana

so we see Sebas gets a posting about some dance contest/show and next thing we see is he is confronting his dad and then packing his bags and sneaking out unseen... it only spells trouble for sure for him ... AND for Ana.

And Isa... well, she destroyed the line between being a naggy spoiled offensive woman right into evilness and physical assault (using hot coffee)... remember Dona Rosa E in Refugio dumping the hot coffee on poor Lorenzo? it left him strong burns for weeks!

Daisynjay, I so agree about Fernando having to come down on the kids and I am one who enjoyed the pranks! However at this point in the tale, the twins, Luz and Sebastián need to learn to deal in the real world amd in this case it means being polite to Isabela no matter how they feel. Fernando is doing them all a disservice being a wimpy parent.

Jarifa

The best thing the kids can do is avoid Isabruja. If they continue in this mode Fernando could easily be talked into shipping them off to boarding school.

As for Ana, there is only so much one person can do when her authority over the children is limited. Also with 5 kids to watch (Nando and Fanny are not an issue here) and only one pair each of eyes and ears there are bound to be situations that are unavoidable.

Fernando has wimped out badly on parenting his kids so far. He needs to step up. If he permits Isabruja to discipline his children they're done for. He should give Ana more authority over them. She has treated them like her own and they love her, so they would be likely to accept discipline from her. Thus far she has only been called on to enforce Fernando's directives about it (such as taking away computers, toys, etc), but not to initiate it.

It would be better for Ana to leave, but she most likely won't leave the children defenseless against Isabruja.

Sebas running away will cause a major upheaval. Isabruja will blame Ana, of course, and also question her morals because of the apparent romance between her and Diego.

The quince is also coming up soon, so it will be interesting to see what disgusting humiliation she has planned for Alicia. That is, if Sebas going missing doesn't cause it to be canceled.

Awesome recap and fantastic captions! I love that Hera found out what naca means.

Glad Nico and Nando braved the farmacia and that Nando got some actually useful counseling from Diego. I'm still not a huge fan of Ximeana. As badly as Leon treated Fanny, what Ximena did to Nerdando was on the same level, yet she is forgiven?

Although I would have loved if Fanny and Leon had made up and made out right there in the restaurant in front of Encreepy. He is evil and I don't want him getting his claws in sweet naive Fanny! I also wish she would have pointed out that they'd get the work done faster if they ordered in food instead of going out and if he quit trying to play wise maestro and lecturing her about business stuff she doesn't care about.

I don't think the kids need to respect Isa, AT ALL, because she doesn't deserve it and I don't believe in forcing anyone to believe someone is their superior just because they are older. However, I do think they need to be taught to be the better people and use better manners. They might even be convinced to go for that strategy: PROVE that they are better people than Isa by acting better. You don't need to respect someone to be polite to them.

What was that Land of Misfit Toys that Bruno took the figurine to? Why was he cagey about where he had been? Is this some sort of secret room? What's he doing with the toys?

Bruno might be refurbishing and/or enhancing (he was making a cape for a figurine of a hero...) them to take them to an orphanage (at least that is what i think)

awesome UA.

“You're not supposed to boink mortals,” said Poseidon.

The only hook ups that should go down is Bruno's and Manuela's and a left hook to Isabela's chin.

I'm not buying the Nic & Jen show and while I like them both, as a couple, just no.

Nando & Ximena, I get he is enamored but she looks like a she wolf ready to devour bambi.

I seems the last bit of resistance by Ana evaporated after overhearing what she would expect from Diego as a lover and result in a hook up but Isabela spoiled that with a hot cup of coffee. She intends to disfigure Ana. How in the world does she get out of this or Ana not just leave? If Fernando won't accept it happened, Diego will.

I'm afraid Icky Ricky will use Fanny up and the writers will go there. This one really makes me ill.

tofie, ITA with your take on Ximena and Nando. I was fully expecting Ximena's other self to jump off any second and try to devour/attack Nando... and if we think he had his mouth open when she was smiling, can you just imagine if she 'turned into' the 'she-wolf' suddenly? poor boy... RUN!!

UA: Thanks for the recap. Always appreciate the pics and the Pantheon's opinions.

I once read that a comedian laughing at his own jokes was a no-no. Johnny does that all the time.

Diana: I agree. I don't think Doro was happy about Johnny getting attention from the Televisa guy.

I think Nando and Xi were sweet. I'm in the minority, but I like them together. I don't think they're destined to be together at the end, however, because of her problem. Briana will be more mature by then and probably a better match.

Isa throwing hot coffee on Ana was criminal. That's assault. I'm also one who hopes they aren't making her into a Veronica (PEAM) clone.

Nanette

This is Televisa's problem. They think Johnny was funny.

Thank you UA for a terrific recap.

UA--I stop by on Tuesdays to read your recap and look at all the screen shots. I'm missing this show because of Reina de Corazones (it would have been right down your alley--full of dysfunctional people doing terrible things to their children, to each other's loved ones, etc., etc.). You have made it possible for me to enjoy the high-jinx and the low-jinx in this tn.

I'll bet any amount of money that if they had left Enrique's natural hair color, Fanny would have treated him more like Nick than even dad and would have been revolted at the idea of doing anything with him voluntarily.

I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that he's going to force himself on her.

Why would Reeky need to do this, he had Isabela at hello.

Anita, he's planning some kind of revenge against either Fernando or the company. He hasn't divulged to us yet which one or why.

I'm more creeped out that Fanny will ultimately welcome Icky Ricks advances. He's good at seducing young women and doesn't miss a trick.

Somebody better run Ana to the hospital the scalding coffee will likely scar.

Well, Enreeky needs to use Fanny as part of his plan to get revenge for something we've not yet been let in on. Boinking Isa presumably doesn't serve that purpose, nor would boinking Beatriz.

When Fer eventually finds out, he'll probably bluster a lot and then spinelessly do nothing and give Reeky a promotion and bonus. But I hope Ana and Diego will go all Old Testament on Frique's slimy hide.

Hey, maybe Enfrique will fall in love with Ana, too, and then Isa will find out and then she will murder him and spare Fanny and the rest of us from having to stand in line on the Orient Express.

I personally would love someday to have a novela end like Murder on the Orient Express.

My gut was telling me that Doroteo is looking to set Johnny up for the same level of humiliation that Isabully is planning for Alicia and Ana. He's a sadistic bastard who loves watching other people suffer.

Just like Isabitch.

I am hoping that Diego will come charging out of his room to Ana's rescue and realize what Isabitch did.

Juan can't go anywhere and Doroteo constantly reminds him he is a slave. If Doroteo allows anything he will expect his large cut of any deal as his manager. Just like Ana, neither will be allowed to repay him.

When Diego takes Ana home from the hospital it should be to his apartment and when she is well enough head straight to an attorney and sue Fernando's pants off since his wife hasn't got a penny.

I think Ana and Diego need to teach the children how to up their game. Why settle for childish pranks that will only make things worse when you can put hidden cameras and microphones all over the house and gather evidence against Isa for later use in blackmail/convincing Fer? And the kids need to be absolutely above reproach so that the recordings show how exemplary their own behavior is. Smart, strategic, and sophisticated beats snotty, kiddos!

I'm hoping Ana isn't really burned so she can go get herself a sample of Diego's boudoir skills. She certainly seemed to be leaning more his way when she overheard his talk with Nerdando. Fernandolt who?!

This is true, Julia. I like that plan.

When is Fernando getting the wedding bills? Those should make him see red.

I agree Julia, hoping the coffee at worst is lukewarm. Still not ideal but would not burn or scar. Anything more than that, yes, Ana needs to leave and never look back. The idiot is ratcheting up her hatred to a dangerous level. Heaven forbid we get the PEAM repeat. I guess writers/producer didn't read the boards on that one on how stupid they thought that got afterwhile. (At least no one is phoning in their characters like certain people on PEAM did.)

I'm actually going to start rooting for Leon again now that he's seen Fanny with this guy. Deep down, he probably wants to win her back and if that means becoming a pest and still making her want him too, I'm all for it. Anything to keep Tall, Tanned and Dyed away from her.

Daisynjay

tofie--In your dreams.

OT a little, BTW--for Cristian de la Fuente fans and a reunion of Amor Bravio (minus Silvia) actors, Quiero Amarte began this week. We're not too far into it. It's on Univision at 3 pm (the daytime death slot).

CdlF has already been shirtless.

Melinama has provided us with a link for discussions on the sidebar (just below Telemundo y Mas).

Anyone with recording capabilities should be able to catch a couple of episodes. "Tio Leoncio" is now "Daniel's" father, an upstanding, straight-arrow guy mooning over a lost love. (Alex Sirvent "Rafael" is now young Mauro.)

I hope you will all join me from time to time.

Urban, please accept my late thank you for the brilliant recap and screenshots!

Kudos to Nico for taking Nando on the condom shopping spree! Did he really buy four boxes?!? Wow, Nando thinks very positively!!

Yep, I still want Ana and Diego to stay together. Frankly, I would prefer they leave town and travel the world, visiting Nico and the kids every couple of months. They could even take one of the children with them on their ventures every now and then.

Scalding Ana with coffee cannot compare to substituting blue hair dye for Isa's shampoo. How will Fernan-duh scold Isabruja? She should at least have her credit card taken away!

Agreed; scalding coffee was WAY worse. It wasn't even blue dye; it was just paint that would have rinsed right out if she had just dunked underwater immediately. The bottle looked like ordinary kids' poster paint. Nothing hard to wash off. Isabruja should definitely have her toys and privileges taken away! She is more babyish and immature and misbehaving than any of the kids, even Sebas!

If they go the way of PEAM with Isa, I don't think even my girl crush on SN will keep me watching.

I think the coffee was hot. I thought I saw steam coming off the coffee when they were talking.

Except in specialty stores I think that condoms are typically packaged in threes (I'm still scratching my head at the idea of ones that glow in the dark).

And kids' paint is water-soluble. The twins are past finger-painting age but Luz isn't.

That coffee was scalding; I checked for the steam.

I hate Fanny. Just another Nicole Brizz wannabee 2.0 and her rotten hashtag *cross your fingers* BS. Is this what young girls are learning to do, copy Feiza's stupidity?? SMH.

Ecuador Bound, I think when Nando told her he wanted 4, he didn't know they came in boxes. He probably thought he would get 4 condoms.

I was hoping that Isa's hair would at least be stained blue for a few days. That would be funny.

Is that why she is covering her hair? That would make sense.
