3/4/15 Hasta el Fin del Mundo #139 Part Deux of Aracely's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

I missed this last night.....As Aracely and Irma are walking out, Aracely says “No one beats you when it comes to being obsessive and stubborn.”I'm laughing so hard I can barely type!  Pot calling Kettle....

Now for the new stuff...

Escuela Primaria Jaime Nunó
Irma is giving the headmaster a bs line about having to go see a sick relative and that's why she's there so early to get Nandito.  Oh, and dad can't come cuz he's working.  Headmaster says okie doke and Irma smiles her sly little snake smile.

Later, as she walks hand in hand with her son, she explains she picked him up early because his father doesn't want her to see him.  So she came early cuz she really wanted to see him.  She's afraid Armie will succeed in separating them. Nandito tells her he already told Armie he wants to move back and live with her.  Irma lays on the guilt and says she was afraid he had stopped loving her.  Nandito asks why his Papito stopped loving her.  She blames it all on that “chancluda” (Mexico slang for ho).  Nandito tells her Alexa claims that's not true and that she never hit Irma.  He goes on to say Alexa was there last night and that Armie agrees that she never hit Irma.  Irma tells him this proves Armie and Alexa have joined forces to tell him nothing but lies so he'll stop loving her.  Nandito tells her they've also lied to him about being novios even though he knows they are.  Irma latches on to that sentiment and explains this is why Armie left her, so he could be novios with that “chancluda” and marry her.  And now he's trying to keep her from Nandito.  He starts his fake crying and tells her he doesn't like Alexa anymore.  He even returned Pigleto and now he's gonna miss him, too.  Waaaaaah.  Irma soothes her crying son and tells him she's glad he put that chancluda in her place along with her smelly pigleto.

Empressa Ripoll
Princess Sofia comes to Queen Greta.  She explains she now knows that Pato was behind giving her the name of Cipriano.  She doesn't want to hear anything from Greta but says she's trying to forgive her although it's gonna be really difficult.  Greta explains all about Unbreakable Vow protocol.  True, she remained silent and lied and she may deserve Sofia's disapproval.  But despite all these bad things, Sofia now knows Paco is her father and that Octavio always knew.  She should be happy with that, as for herself, well......she only asks that Sofia forgive her for all her mistakes.  Sofia's trying to make up her mind.

Oficina de Peralta
Peralto is on the phone with the bank rep, Urrutia.  He's just waiting for the bank officials to make their decision regarding Ripoll.  He's followed Peralta's instructions to the letter and expects the obvious, that their decision will not be in Ripoll's favor.  After he hangs up, Peralta's henchman asks if he plans to continue with his dastardly plan even though he fancies Sofia.  Peralta assures him nothing comes between him and his plans.  Why should he content himself with just one, when he can have her and her business?  Bwa ha ha!

Empressa Ripoll
Chava makes a quick visit to Armie before leaving.  He explains how Paco is actually Sofia's father!

Pato's office
Greta is so grateful to Pato for what he's done when it was her plan all along.  (It was really Pato's plan but he's manipulated her so well that he's got her thinking it was hers all along, the sneaky bastard)  Anyway, he says he's glad he was able to deflect Sofia's wrath away from her.  Greta wants to tell Sofia the truth but Pato won't have it.  He's willing to make the “sacrifice” and thinks it's best to leave things as they are.  Greta fears Sofia's anger will lead to his firing.  Pato tells her she can vouch for him to the board and avoid that.  He's the only one standing against Chava taking control of the company.  Really, who can she trust to pull Sofia ahead, Pato?  Or that arribista Chava?  Greta wonders.   It won't be easy.  Sofia will influence the board members to withdraw their support for Pato.  Well, Pato is sure they'll see that the company will fail without his continued presence.  Well, Greta can't do anything about Sofia's decisions but she will present the arguments in his favor to the board.

Sofia's Office
Sofia tells Ollie it isn't possible to eat with him due to some pressing family matters.  After he leaves, Dani insists on knowing what she's talking about.  Sofia tells her she'll find out at lunch, when they're all together.

Ollie calls Dad to advise lunch with Sofia is cancelled.  He's not happy and wants Ollie to tell them everything's arranged but they can reschedule for dinner.  Ollie's caught in the middle and tries to tell Dad they may not be able to.........but Dad hangs up on him.  Peralta, speaking to himself, says Sofia will soon learn her beauty won't help her change the plans of a man like him.

Studio
Alexa tells Paolo her lunch plans have changed.  He tells her he and Guillermo can take care of choosing the accessories for her character's wardrobe.  He promises not to make her end up looking like Irais.  He wants her role in this movie to end up making her a star!

Back at Ripoll
Ollie tells Dani his dad was miffed.  Dani's not sure if they can count on Dinner, what with Sofia's mysterious lunch summons.

Casa de Ripoll
Greta tells Fausto that Sofia knows all now.  Greta suffers over the recriminations of her daughter and her late husband.  Fausto insists this has all turned out for the best.  He's surprised to learn that Pato is taking the blame for the false dad story.

Casa de Chava
Lupe is glad Paco finally told Sofia the truth.  She blabs on to say that Sofia was there earlier and had told her she was so happy to learn he is her father.  Paco thanks her for blabbing to him.  If it hadn't been for that, he never would have confronted Greta.  He explains how Greta insisted on keeping her secret.  Part of him understands how difficult it must have been to break that Unbreakable Vow.  Lupe focuses on the positive.  He will now be able to enjoy his daughter and love her as he should, as his daughter.  He tells her about Aracely's negative reaction to the news.

Empresa Ripoll
Aracely arrives and wants to speak to Princess Sofia.  In her office, Sofia is praying, giving thanks for bringing Paco into her life.  Ruh-roh – Aracely is there.  Sofia squints.....and so does Aracely.  This does not look good.  Good time for a commercial break.

Sofia offers her coffee.  Aracely wants nothing from her only to say this story about her being Paco's daughter is pure fantasy.  Anything coming from her mother's lips is pure lies.  Sofia reminds Aracely that Greta and Paco once shared a great love.  Aracely counters, reminding her this is not the first time Greta's made up stories for her convenience and she's done it for years.  Sofia believes her mother wouldn't have wanted this to come out but Aracely finds it curious she's decided to reveal the truth now, of all times.  And please, Greta's lived her life telling everyone lies.  First she lied to Paco, who lived his life bogged down with her memory and embittered by her deceit.  This kept him from giving his all to Aracely's mom.  Sofia tries to apologize for her feelings but Aracely's on a role, “He was never able to forget her and you're the result of an immense love, whereas me, I'm the result of disillusion.  My father never, NEVER, loved my mother as she deserved to be loved!”

Casa de Ripoll
Greta explains Pato's motive for taking the blame – so Sofia wouldn't think the worst of her mother.  Fausta calls bs, saying this sounds too much like a fairy tale.  First Paco threatens her with telling the truth and now he comes out with this noble act?  Really?  This isn't like him.  Greta agrees Pato's actions may not always be correct but who's she to judge.  She's been known to act in a way that may even seem cruel.  Fausto suggests she take advantage of this situation and fire Patricio but Greta can't.  Even though Pato has blackmailed her, today he showed great loyalty to her and to the company.  No way would Fausto ever trust him.  Greta just can't think about this right know.  There's too much going on in that pea brain of hers.  Her relationship with Sofia is so damaged now.  All she can do now is ask God for her forgiveness.

Renzi Realty, where flipping houses is our specialty
Renzi is so happy to see his cousin, “Ay, Primazo del Primor!”  Patrick doesn't even respond with so much as a “Hola!”  He comes in swinging.  BAM! POW! WHACK!  Renzi gets in a few too, before Patricio pulls back and sends Renzi hurtling over a chair, bloodied and very much in surprise.

Empresa Ripoll – Como Agua Para Chocolate, Ripoll, that is.
Sofia doesn't think it's their place to discuss the errors of their parents.  Aracely takes exception to including her father in this.  The only one who made mistakes was Greta.  Sofia insists their mistakes are none of their (hers and Aracely's) business.  “Of course it is,” shouts Aracely, “because if they had made other choices, you and I wouldn't be sharing the same blood.......and love for the same man. (wait, what?)  But in your case, I'm sure what you feel for Chava isn't love, it's nothing more than one of your whims.”  Sofia declares she lurves Chava with all her heart (soul) and she's never felt this with anyone else.  Aracely recalls that not too recently, Sofia didn't want him anywhere near her.  Sofia admits this is true.  It took some time for her to realize what she was feeling and to overcome some of her prejudices.  But now, she loves Chava more than anything in the world.  Aracely is appalled and starts to applaud, “Bravo, you're almost convincing.  Please, don't give me that talk of love.  Especially when I know what it means to love someone.  I've loved Chava unconditionally, with no doubts, as opposed to you....?”  “I no longer have doubts,” replies Sofia, “I've put my heart and my life in his hands.”  “No, Sofia, you have no idea what it means to deliver yourself to a man completely, to love him more than you love yourself.  I ask each day for your relationship with Chava to end.  Why are you so surprised?  That I speak frankly and not be a hypocrite like you?”  Sofia finds it sad that Aracely can't be happy for Chava.  Aracely repeats that Chava cast her aside and it's all Sofia's fault.  Sofia pleads with her, “For God’s sake , how can you hate me so much, we're sisters.”  Aracely's response is predictable, “You will always be my rival, NEVER my sister.  You hear?”

Renzi Realty – Kissing Cousins no more
The cousins are still at it, Pato accusing Renzi of ratting him out to Peralta.  Renzi finally manages to call out for security and someone shows up to separate them.  Pato wants to kill him but agrees to calm down.  Renzi releases the security guy but asks him stay nearby, just in case.  Pato wants an explanation from Renzi who says he did it for his own good.  He had warned him Silvana was going to be a problem.  Pato seems to think all he had to do was marry her and that would silence her.  Renzi feels Silvana is nothing less than a time bomb.  She would have blackmailed him the rest of his life to keep him in line with what she wanted.  It was best to make a clean break before they were all taken down.  Pato accused him of taking him away from the woman he loves.  Renz's convinced he's done the right thing and Pato will thank him later.  Pato approaches menacingly, saying he will never forgive him.

Patricio leaves the office all bloodied and shaken up.  Chava's spy/janitor sees him leave.

Casa Ripoll
Greta's failing and Fausto's worried for her.  She asks for Iker to bring her pills.  Fausto explains Iker's not there but he'll go get them for her.  She's looking really bad and he thinks they should call the doctor but, as always, Greta doesn't want that.  The maid comes in explaining the girls will be there for lunch.  She's sure Sofia will make the Big Announcement.  Fausto insistis on calling the doctor and she refuses again.

Empresa Ripoll – Sisterly love, not!
Sofia's sorry to hear Aracely sees her as a rival and won't give them a chance to get to know each other.  She would really like for Aracely to come to know who she really is.  Oh, Aracely knows who she is alright; she's a rich kid who's always received everything she's ever wanted.  Her father's favorite, who gave her every comfort and fulfilled her every whim.  Sofia says Aracely has no idea what her life was like.  She had to be the best in everything, at school and then at work.  She always had to prove herself.    Aracely sarcastically asks Sofia to forgive her for not believing her pathetic story about her hardworking childhood.  Sofia insists she was hardworking.  She was never given anything for free whereas Aracely had her father's unconditional love.  Sofia had to fight for her father's respect and affection.  Aracely is very bitter, “Save your breath.  Your childhood trauma doesn't interest me in the least.”  “Perfect,” replies Sofia, “but you have to accept that we share the same father and I have every right to seek out his love. Like it or not!”  Aracely repeats her mantra of how Sofia stole Chava.  Well, she won't allow her to take her father as well.  Sofia promises no one wants to take Paco from her   but Aracely needs to understand he doesn't belong only to her.  Aracely warns her to stay away from Paco.  Sofia tells her that sooner or later she and Paco will have to make up for lost time and develop a father/daughter relationship.  “No! You can't have everything you want. Isn't it enough what you’ve made me suffer with Chava?”  Sofia tells her she suffers because she wants to.  Chava's made his decision.  Aracely:  “It doesn't matter what you say or do. You will not get away with this Sophia Ripoll.”  She spits out her name as though it's left a bad taste in her mouth.  She gathers her things but before she leaves, “You will not rob me of my father's love.”  She storms out of the office and bumps into Dani but keeps on walking.  Dani calls out that she's rude but Aracely keeps on walking.

Don Manuel's Garage
Chava's snitch calls to tell him about Pato's appearance at Renzi's office.  He also reports that Renzi continues his regular office hours.

Later, Armando shows up and tells him that Irma showed up early to pick up Nandito.  Armie's upset because he wanted to have a man to man talk with his son.  To tell him he shouldn't be so harsh with Alexa and to ask him to stay at the apartment for at least a few days to give it a chance.  But now Irma won't give him the chance and she will surely poison him against Armando.  He doesn't want to go get him now and drag him out again.

Chava offers to talk to Irma to get Armie some time with Nandito.  He knows how rough she can be but he loves his godson so much, he's willing to give it a try.

Casa de Irma
Mom and son sit down to eat.  Nandito worries dad will be sad when he learns he left school early.  Irma says it shouldn't be a problem.  If Armie wants to see him so badly, he can come here.  Poor Nandito, he says when he's at his dad's depa, he feels strange because he misses her.  But when he's with her, he misses his dad.  And he also misses Pigleto.

Empressa Ripol
Dani peaks into Sofia, who's still brooding over her argument with Aracely.  She asks if Sofia's heard from Silvana, who's nowhere to be found.  Sofia hasn't and wouldn't be surprised if Silvana decided to take a day off without notice.  They haven't been especially close lately.  Noemi reports that Silvana didn't show up or call.

Casa de Irma
Chava comes to visit.  Irma greets him coldly and Nandito is happy to see him.  He offers to take him out for ice cream but Irma nixes that.  Nandito asks purty please and she agrees.  As Nandito runs off to change, Irma warns Chava he'd better not be there to take Nandito to Armie.  His place is here, living with her.  Chava reminds her both she and Armie have a right to see Nandito.  So, it would be best if she'd stop making such a fuss and let Armando see Nandito.

Casa de Ripoll
Iker finally returns.  He apologizes and makes up a story about helping an “amigo” move.  Fausto is a little put out upon hearing about an “amigo” and tells Iker to be sure and tell his “amigo” he's welcome to stay here if need be.  This way Fausto can meet said “amigo”.  Iker will be sure to tell him.  He assures Fausto there is nothing else to this friendship with the amigo.  His heart belongs to someone else although it may be impossible.  Fausto thinks this impossible relationship Iker speaks of could be with Fausto himself?  Hmmmmm.

Tae Kwon Do Kid
As they walk to his class, Nandito tells Chava that Irma said Armie just wants to be with Alexa instead of them.  Chava explains how someone can come into your life when you're feeling sad and they make you happy.  Nandito compares this to his little Pigleto.  Exactly.  Well, this is how it happened with Dad and Alexa!  Wait, is he comparing Alexa to the pig?  Well!

While they're having ice cream, Chava tries to explain that Armie was already having problems with Irma when he met Alexa.  Sometimes people fall out of love, etc. etc. etc.  In the end he asks Nandito, who is now crying, to remember how much Armando loves him and to give it another chance by living with him at the apartment.  Poor kid.  These adults are tearing him apart, bit by bit.

Casa Ripoll
The girls gather for lunch.  While they're waiting for Greta, Alexa gets a call from Armie who tells her about Irma picking up Nandito at school.  Armie finally tells her that Nandito wants to go back to his mother.  Alexa feels badly and feels this is her fault.  Armie assures her it has nothing to do with her.

Casa de Paco
Paco has lunch all laid out when Aracely arrives and announces she's met with Sofia.  Tan tan TAN

Casa de Ripoll
Greta finally arrives at the table.  Sofia asks, “Do you wanna tell them or shall I?”  Greta tearfully begins to explain that Sofia became aware of all her lies in order to keep an Unbreakable Vow.  “She's called you all here because Sofia.......wants no more secrets in this house.  I want to tell you.....that Sofia's biological father....is Paco Fernandez!”  Stunned look from Alexa, a snarl from Dani, and a tear from Sofia.  Dani is the first to speak, “Seriously, you're Paco's daughter?  The guy from the store?”  “Well then?” asks Alexa, “what about Cipriano Fuentes?”  Greta and Sofia both explain this was a story made up by Pato in order to bring Sofia back to the company.  The place her father had always wanted for her.  The father who accepted her as his own, all the while knowing he wasn't really her father.  Alexa is surprised to learn Octavio knew Sofia wasn't his.  When Alexa pushes her to explain why she never told Sofia the truth, Greta explains about the Unbreakable Vow, how she made this vow before God, blah, blah, blah.  Even Fausto put in his two centavos about her sacrifice.  Alexa is shocked to learn he knew about this secret as well.  “Well this house is just full of secrets.  What other secrets do you have, Mom?”  Greta doesn't expect them to understand but it was never her intention to cause so much harm, especially to Sofia.  She's very sorry and asks for forgiveness of all her daughters.

Paco's Dilemma
Paco assumes Aracely met with Sofia to bond.  Not so, Daddy Dearest.  What then?  Aracely explains she went to tell that intruder what she needed to hear, “She'd better not even think to take your love from me after she's taken Chava's.”  Paco can't believe what he's hearing.  How could she take it this way? He's always loved Aracely.  How can she possibly think Sofia could take it away?  Aracely seems dumbfounded, “I don't want Sofia Ripoll in this house, or to receive her as though we are one big happy family and making a big fuss over her as though she were the Prodigal Daughter.”  Paco tells her this is about her sister.  Oh, Paco.  Aracely becomes unhinged, and slams a dish on the table, “Don't repeat that!  I will always see her as a rival.”  Paco comes around the table to try and calm her down.  Aracely looks like she needs some of Greta's pills.  He tells her like it or not, Sofia is her sister.  Aracely calls Sofia a curse (maldición) and Paco pleads with her not to say that.  “I don't want her here, Dad, I don't want her in this house!”  Paco is really sorry, but he's determined to make up for lost time with his other daughter.  She, like Aracely, deserves his love.  Aracely turns and warns him, “That woman…enters this house….and this family......I leave.”  Ay Caray.

Ay, ay, ay, Aracely can't catch a break. I have to hand it to her, she certainly doesn't beat around the bush. Didn't help her much in getting Chava though did it. Ah, she's better off. That other guy (forgot his name) seems smarter anyway. To be fair, they couldn't have thought she would take this lightly, could they? I mean, she already hates Sofia. This is not going to change overnight. Everyone needs to let her chill and keep the lines of communication open. ok, maybe not Sofia, but Paco and Lupe could certainly help her cope with this news.

Nandito is being pulled apart by all the adults. He doesn't need Chava to add to the stress. This child needs some family therapy. Dad needs to stop exposing him to his girlfriend, too soon for that. Mom needs to stop bashing Dad. Chava and Alexa need to butt out.

In non news, news...Araceli is THE WORST.

And I wish, just once when she goes on and on about how much she loves Chava, how she'd do anything for him, how Sofia stole him from her, how Sofia doesn't deserve him, etc.. that someone, ANYONE would throw it in her face that she had him and she ditched him for another man and left town causing their breakup. It's all HER fault. He moved on after you abandoned him. Deal with it.

OMG Linda! I completely forgot about that! Excellent point! Apparently Aracely has also conveniently forgotten that as well. Girl needs get a grip. Thought she was going to bust a gut tonight.

Paquita, your Part Deux was just as good as the first was. Thanks!

The funny:

Fausto wondering if Iker is interested in him. Iker is so good at manipulating poor old Fausto.

Dani's horrified expression when she learns that Paco ( yeah, the store guy) is Sofías dad.

Chava's dirty undershirt at the garage. Guess we had to know he is really working.

The not so funny:

Alexa the selfish goof realizing she might have something to do with the mess with Armando and Nandito. You think? Didn't Sofía tell her to stay away just for this reason?

Irma using Nandito to get back at Armando to Nandito's detriment. She deserves a special place in hell for this.

Spoiled brat Araceli throwing her tantrum. Let us see how Paco holds the line when she owns him lock, stock and barrel. She told Sofía she would not get her way. The stolen recipe lawsuit has to be on the horizon.

Nandito not knowing Bendito is long long gone.

All in all a good one.

Jarifa

Thank you Paquita for the detailed review.

Let's see, everyone who knew this is exactly what was going to happen between Arecily/paco/ Sofia raise your hand. hmmm...1,2,3,4..yep, unanimous. Then why didn't Paco? I don't understand why he's so shocked. The woman tells him flat out that she blames Greta for what happened to her mom, and he expects her to be happy with Sofia as her sister? The daughter of his true love? Stupid advise from Chava and Don Paco not using common sense helped to cause this. Now he has a decision to make, if he's smart he holds the line and not give in to Arecily.

I love pato punching out his cousin. I always assumed he was afraid of him but not now. He actually said, "...the woman I loved.." showing that he really does love silvania. He's sick and a dirtbag, but I like when a man sticks up for his woman.

The previews didn't show what's going to happen tonight, so I'm curious as to how Sofia and Paco proceed. Can't wait.

Paquita, this was outstanding. You conveyed all the high drama perfectly. Marvelous detail and astute observations including "Poor kid. These adults are tearing him apart, bit by bit:. Yes, how terribly unfair to Nandito.

I realize Armando has good intentions but you have to be very careful as a mother's relationship with her child(ren) is fragile. I think she does love Nandito although her love has been submerged in her anger to retaliate and punish Armando because of Alexa. Children first and foremost. Always.

Araceli is morose and self pitying. That said, I can't help but feel for her. Losing Chava to Sophia was bad enough (she never had him but from her perspective), but to have Sophia as her half sister, supplanting her in her father's affections is enough to hurt the most generous heart. I don't know how they will come to terms.

"Paco assumes Aracely met with Sofia to bond". Ummm, really?? Perhaps the leaves don't fall far from the tree. Delusional, delusional.

Pato "loves" Silvana enough to save but life apparently but hated her enough to cause her miscarriage. He and Renzi can rot in hell together as far as I'm concerned.

Diana

Awesome Paquita

"“He was never able to forget her and you're the result of an immense love, whereas me, I'm the result of disillusion. My father never, NEVER, loved my mother as she deserved to be loved!” That is a true statement

"I've loved Chava unconditionally, with no doubts, as opposed to you....?” That statement is false

While I feel for Araceli, and Sofia did win Salvadors heart, Sofia is not the reason they are not together.

Outside her foolish belief, Salvador is a god, I like Araceli. She speaks her mind and not afraid of confrontation. Her burden is her father has pined for the queen of the realm and downright giddy the princess his daughter and he is not sophisticated enough to manage his obvious glee. Sofia is the prodigal daughter and Araceli only held her spot, she'll now be required to run her bath and paint the princesses nails.

I have no children but if I were in the midst of a divorce and custody battle and that punk Chava took my kid for ice cream and a snatch and grab back to his fathers, the court would have my petition for a restraining order.

Dani's facial expression upon learning Paco Sofia's daddy, priceless. Yep, the mope about town shopkeeper.

Paquita- Thank you, amiga! You had two major family confrontations to work though-- one physical (Renzi and Pato) and one verbal/emotional (Sofia and Aracely). No punches were pulled in either confrontation.

I really don't know how bitter, delusional Aracely will get over her obsession with Chava and her resentment enough to accept Sofia as her sister.

Paquita, thank you for a detailed and wonderful recap! I agreed with all of your asides and I loved the mini titles for each scene "Kissing cousins no more" lol

As I watched this last night I kept talking back to Araceli. I can not believe how delusional, arrogant and self righteous she is! Thank you Linda for bringing up the fact that Aracely doubted Chava and left him! Loved him unconditionally?! Yea right!

I wonder Tofie, do we know if Aracely's statement of "“My father never, NEVER, loved my mother as she deserved to be loved!” is true? Paco has always said he loved her mother very much, it was just a different type of love. I doubt Paco would be so respected if it was known he mistreated his wife. I assumed Paco became this bitter man due to losing the second love of his life. My mother always told me how much she loved my father and how devastated she was when he left her but when she found my stepfather, she found a different type of love. I think that statement was more of Aracely's delusional ramblings. How arrogant of her to assume she knows Sophia at all! How? From what experience? Although Sophia is the rich little princess, Aracely is the spoiled brat here.
I agree with you Diana, that this situtation can't be easy for Aracely but she really needs to get agrip and some sense talked into her.

Greta & Fausto used to be on Destilando Amor back in 2007!

LOL

Bendito likely became someone's breakfast.

"Araceli's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day."

LOL

What's next ? She'll try to sleep with Lucas for all we know.

That is the 800 pound gorilla in the room Aracelli. You didn't just go on a date all the whilst you and Chava were in Luuuuve. You ran off to another city with another man for frippin Y E A R S.....
After old Chava finally moved on you are back like it was yesterday?
What you did to him then is more than reason enough to avoid you like the bubonic plague. And what you are doing now, I' already have a restraining order on your crazy ass.

Kirby, Araceli can't get over her addiction to Chava.

Pedro needs to take her back to Monterrey QUICK!

Thanks to Paquita and all the wonderful recappers! I have been lurking but following this one since the Chava switcheroo, which was just too much of an intriguing bit of TN nonsense to miss. Plus, I’ve always had a soft spot for DZ, even though he is a bad actor, a bad kisser, and not even very good looking (with his clothes on, that is). It’s actually entertaining seeing him attempting (yet not quite succeeding) to act relaxed and show emotions, you know, like a normal person, in this role.

I am glad that Sophia needed to think over forgiving Greta because I do, too. After DA, AB and now this horror that is Greta, that actress sure has specialized in toxic mothers. I’m sure she never intended any harm to anyone with her secrets because she never intended anyone to KNOW her secrets.

And as for toxic mama Irma, I have trouble not seeing her as an actual villainess. Apart from all the other terrible things she's done, what she is doing to her own son is just plain wrong, if not evil. What a witch.

Steve, I also remembered that Greta and Fausto were a hubby and wife team in DA. Did you recognize Perlata from DA, too, as Isabela’s worthless dad? And Matias as the wonderful lounge lizard/ grifter/”mon petite fluer”/all-around cad? He was outstanding in that role.

To throw a little gasoline on the fire: : : Sofia has worked in a frippin factory all her life, " princess" aside. Aracelli is the little snot with the damn to hell law degree.
With all Sofia's flaws, perfect skin, perfect body, perfect hair, flat assed beautiful, rich, and a sweet chick on top of all those flaws, I'd take her over Aracelli any day (or night).

Hell Steve, Pedro, Paco and Chava all conspired to send her back with Pedro not long ago. It was like trying to catch a greased pig. She's still here wallowing in her mud hole of self pity.

Thanks for this recap. I fell asleep five minutes after it came on. I hate that i missed some good stuff!

Irma and Araceli are like two little kids stuck in the magical thinking stage: they actually believe if they want something/someone bad enough and fight hard enough it/he will be theirs. They are both out of touch with how the real world operates. Runs in the family and their contact with each other just reinforces the craziness even if they can't see it. They both need to go bye bye like to Monterrey or maybe Silvana can take them wherever she is going. Second thought, maybe Renzi will pay Irma a return visit and she can implicate Araceli. Not a spoiler; just a wish for Peralta to work his "banishment magic" on these two.

Jarifa

Yes Steve I understand the prenatal care in Monterrey is extraordinary

Didn't a preview show Silvana driving and cryin? Isn't that a country song? I never knew she had a car. She was telling Iker she was keeping the apt and just leaving it locked up. So what the hey is going to be her source of income?

LOL Kirby your comments are hilarious!

Yep. I remembered those guys there as well!
