Mi corazon es tuyo #160 4 March 2015... more filler... a divas fight right in La Costena office... Fernando still cold as ice with Ana. The little ones finally are told no wedding. Edith leaves town. Fanny has an anxiety attack

Refritos:

Ana/Fanny/Ximena (btw, Ximena says she loves helping care for the little kids, Ana responds ‘yeah, and most of all the 17 year old ones, right?’ LOL!), Ana tells them Angel declared his love to her. Later Xime asks Ana if she loves Fanny’s dad, Ana: you want to know if the Earth is round? (Ana gets an idea, asks Fanny for the credit card… Xime comes up with a new idea, lets use Ximena’s instead, Ana insists in paying her in cash later. LOL!)

Angel trying to give his pitch to Mama Sol about his declaration of love to Ana. Mama Sol does not quite believe he is in love with Ana. She believes it is more platonic love what he feels for Ana. Angel tries to justify saying ‘I love desperate causes’ (I would say it is a LOST cause, dude!)

Fernando at office with the ‘comando’ guys, whose best idea is to put flyers with Freeky’s picture around the city. (REALLY???!! Fernando, hire another group STAT!!!) LOL!

Freeky watching the kids at school ‘what better vengeance than to hurt one of Fernando’s kids?’

Sebastian shows Ana the video of her that Hissabella took at Chicago. Ana concerned.

Lo Nuevo:

Ana tries to explain that whoever put the video on his page had bad intentions, 'we both know who, right?… Hissabella'. Ana tries to explain… she does not feel shame for dancing, she loves doing it. She did not tell them because she was paranoic of losing them. 'Your dad is real angry at me because I did not tell him. And we will not get married'. (Sebas begins to cry) Ana explains she has danced for many years in the tube. Sebas keeps asking why Dad is mad at her. Why didn’t you tell him. ‘Tell Don hielo??’ (Sebas understands). If he fired me I would not be able to see you all anymore. He wanted a nanny who had degrees, spoke languages, etc… Instead of that, he got someone who dances on a tube'. Sebas reminds her that his dad used to think Hip-hop was for felons. Ana reminds him ‘prejudices’… And people who dance at the tube also suffer from prejudices very much. Sebas asks her why she did not tell Fernando later on. Ana explains that she had a signed contract that she could not walk away from and that she had fallen in love with all of them… it was much harder to come clean with him due to her fear of losing all of them. Sebastian stares at her, he seems to understand.

At office, Betty brings Fernando an arrangement of flowers and fruit… (of course its from Ana)… card: ‘I know Rome was not built in a day. That is why I want to regain your trust little by little. Love you. Ana.’ Fernando, miffed, asks Betty to take it away. Betty hesitates and Fernando shouts 'take it away (now)!'.

Nando visits Fernando at the office to try to explain some details about Ana’s job at Chicago. Fernando won’t let him even talk to him about it, yells at him. Then apologizes. Nando asks Fernando if he knew about Ana’s house having been lost to fire, yes he heard. Nando continues... she had asked the owner of the antro for money to fix her house… and he made her sign a contract. Fernando says 'ah I get it. She signed a contract to pay the loan. And I imagine she also signed a contract to … LIE… to HIDE information!'.

Ana continues to explain to Sebas. They talk about whether or not to tell the younger ones why their dad and Ana have split and why they are no longer getting married. Sebas assures her that if she hid the fact that she danced from their dad, the young ones won’t mind at all. 'You are the same Ana for them… and for me!'... Ana so thankful. Have to tell the young ones.

Soledad insists to Angel that Ana is a lost cause. Angel is persistent… even when Soledad claims he has NO CHANCE with Ana. Soledad insists that Fernando and Ana are still in love even if they have split. Love you and don’t want to see you brokenhearted. Angel jokes around ‘that’s what I am a doctor for, no? if my heart breaks I will fix it again.  (IMO he is acting like an infatuated 15 year old with stirred hormones)

At kitchen, the twins play a prank on Ximena tying a 100 peso bill to a thread and then pulling it, making her crawl all over the kitchen hallway.  She laughs it off. Ximena announces to the kids that she wants to study a career in pedagogy (Education). The young ones look at each other like 'what is that??'  She explains she wants to be a teacher. Ana and Sebas join everyone at kitchen. Ana asks Fanny if she can watch the kids for a while. Ana tells the kids she will go out but will be back.

Edith tells Lenin she is moving to Aguas Calientes. She will continue studying there. Lenin not sure it is the best decision.

At office, Betty tells Ana that Fernando did not like the flowers/fruit. Ana tells herself she will not get herself down. She will convince him eventually. Ana asks Betty if Fernando will go eat at home. Have to talk to him about something important. (In comes Hissabella and Betty runs off…) Hissabella and Ana start bickering at each other. Ana accuses Hissabella of messing with her kids… 'you know what I’m talking about… the video you sent Sebastian!'... Hissabella claims she did nothing wrong. Did Fernando stop loving you? Ana claims if she wants Fernando to stop loving her, Hissabella will have to try much harder. Hissabella claims Ana wants to unload her frustrations and hysteria on her. Ana begins to roll her sleeves. Asks Hissabella not to provoke her. Ana and Hissabella get to slap each other a couple times (hmmm! Ok make that once each way, the video is shown it twice as if someone was taping this and rewinding, we see a blinking ‘R’ on the screen during the 2nd exchange) before Fernando comes in to stop the show. He looks at Hissabella angry.

(we get commercial break about Amores con trampa where we see it is official! MCET will be over by the 27th or 29th at the latest, ACT starts on the 30th!!)

Lenin arrives at the house. Fanny has the baby in her arms. Edith is with Lenin. Edith asks about Nando (he’s not there, went to see Dad at the office) and says she loves Fanny very much. Then she announces she is leaving the city and won’t be returning.

Back to LC offices... An irritated Fernando shouts to them to go to the street if they want to fight with each other, not to do this kind of 'scene' in company premises. Hissabella claims she did not start it. He could care less! He questions why Ana is there. Ana says she is there to talk to him about something important related to the kids. Fernando tells Hissabella and Betty to leave. Ana tries to call Fernando’s attention to the flowers/fruit she sent but to no avail. He wants to go to the point about the kids. Ana tells him that Sebastian knows the truth. Fernando asks how he took the news. He took the Chicago dancing point well, but he does not like the idea that they won’t get married. Fernando is getting impatient… Ana is there to get to an agreement with him about what they will tell Luz and the twins. Fernando wants to tell them the truth. Ana is in disbelief. 'Are you going to tell Luz that I hid from you the fact that I danced at Chicago and that is why you got mad at me and that is why you cancelled the wedding?' Fernando says 'we will tell her that you lied to me… or maybe that I changed my mind!'... Ana does not want the kids to get confused or for the kids to get angry at him. Fernando gets even more irritated and yells at her ‘Then what do we tell them??’ Ana yells at him not to yell at her. “I will yell at you whenever I please!! … You deserve that I yell at you, and you have no right to ask me not to yell at you. I yell at you!! How do you like that??’ Ana is in disbelief he keeps on yelling at her. Ana whispers ‘yell at me then…. Go ahead.. yell at me.’ Fernando looks down, as if realizing he went a bit overboard.

Back to the house… Edith says it is painful to stick around. Fanny says she is just running from problems, could stay and face her problems. Edith says it is too painful that Nando chose another girl and that girl is friends with 'my friend'. She has an aunt at Aguas Calientes … At that moment Nando arrives home. He is concerned at seeing their faces…

Back to the office… Fernando is still quiet looking away. Ana asks him ‘well?’ he claims he is still thinking. ‘Then go ahead and think about it… and let me know!’ Ana walks away, hides behind a wall and looks very upset at the exchange they just had.

At the house the twins and Luz talk about possibly having planned a prank on the ‘vampira’.. But Luz notices she is crying. Luz does not want them to do any pranks on Edith.

Everyone leaves Nando and Edith alone in living room. He asks why she cries, she came to say goodbye.

At Jenny/Johnnys… Johnny arrives home. He came with a surprise… it is the promo flyers for the pole dancing school grand opening. They will distribute them all over the city with Dana, Diva and everyone’s help including Mike. Johny would love to see Mike tell people. Jenny can’t wait to tell Ana she is marrying the most handso…. The smartest… the nicest… Johnny claims ‘the more ugly, the more beautiful (inside)’.

Nando is sad to hear Edith is leaving and about not choosing her. Edith says nothing to regret. We had great moments and I was inmensely happy. Don’t want to cry anymore. She gives him a final pop kiss and heads out just as Ana is getting home. Edith says goodbye to her too, in between tears. Ana asks Nando what is up with her. She is going to Aguas Calientes and won’t return. Meanwhile the twins talk about Edith going back to Transylvania. Luz asks where is that. Guille answers 'The home of Dracula!' (LOL!)

The little ones come downstairs, notice Ana is a bit sad.

Later on Jenny and Johnny are visiting Ana and Jenny shows her the engagement ring. Ana is so happy for them. Puro bonito. Puro amor. Fernando comes home and asks them coldly not to visit Ana during work hours. Jenny is floored, Ana is hesitating a response, refers to him as ‘Mr Lascurain!’ and we see Luz running downstairs calling her dad and asking him ‘ Why are you talking to each other like that? Why are you fighting? Ana is very sad!!’ Fernando is speechless. Ana too, in teary eyes.

Leon at home can’t wait any longer to go see Fanny. Margarita is very afraid Freeky will show up again to finish the job.

Ana tells Luz that she and Fernando have to talk to her. Ana will go fetch the twins and will meet Fernando and Luz in kitchen for the ‘talk’. As Ana heads upstairs, Johnny gives Fernando a copy of the pamphlet of the dance studio for Fernando to come visit anytime.

Doorbell rings. This time it is Angel with some flowers to see Ana. At that moment Ana is coming down with the twins. They talk about the magician… he can make the flowers appear and disappear. Angel says the flowers are for Ana… But Ana stops it there, telling the twins they have to head to the kitchen to talk about an issue. Angel says his goodbyes but not before leaving a 4 leaf clover in Ana’s hand, confirming with the twins that it brings good luck.

(wow this door is busy today… now it is Yomama coming in as Angel is leaving). Angel goes on out. Yomama compliments Bruno on his looks. She came to talk to Ana. Bruno says Ana is a bit busy. Yomama asks him to get her a margarita while at it. Yomama whistles to Bruno as he walks away. Bruno confirms with Fernando that he will have Yomama wait out while he and Ana tell the young ones in the kitchen that he and Ana won’t get married. All kids get sad. Siete barks! Fernando’s face shows a lot of resentment/blame towards Ana for giving the little ones the bad news.

Fanny, Lenin, Xime and Nando in Fanny’s room. Fanny is very upset that Edith left. And that is on top of all the bad things happening around her (Ana and her dad are fighting, Dad thinks I betrayed him, Freeky was here at my house, my little siblings will die of sadness when they hear that Ana and my dad won’t get married!... on top of it all, tomorrow I am taking a test on the Mexican society that is really hard and I can’t take it anymore!!’

The little ones ask Fernando why they won’t get married anymore. Fernando says ‘things sometimes happens between adults.’ Ana tries to help saying ‘but I will still be here anyway!’ Luz runs out upset yelling that it is not fair that her dad and Ana won’t get married!! Fernando continues with the twins in kitchen, saying love doesn’t always work out. The twins claim they are big enough to hear the story. Nothing specific happened. Ana and him had some differences and changed the decision… The twins say ‘But dad, Ana is the best!’ Fernando agrees. Yeah she is. One of the twins asks ‘then you don’t love her anymore?’ Fernando takes a moment to sit between them… repeating that sometimes things just don’t work out. He knows it hurts them to hear this. (the kids faces are priceless) and little by little you will come to accept it. ‘And Ana will continue to be here for you… Ana and I love you all. There’s no doubt about that.’

Upstairs Ana is trying to support a very upset Luz, telling her the same things, that she will always be there for them. Alicia is helping out saying no matter what they all will still be together. Fernando, Ana, the 8 .. (and Luz adds Siete). She promises again she will never leave. Both Ana and Alicia take turns kissing Luz who finally smiles again.

Nando is now holding DN, now the 4 plus DN are in Nando’s room. The others are trying to console Fanny. Nando tells her that he explained no Fernando at the office why Ana continued working at Chicago today. Fanny reminds them that for Fernando Lascurain telling a lie is the capital offense. She does not really believe things will get fixed. She even sends Lenin packing, she is not in the mood, is too confused right about now (Fanny walks away)… Lenin gets it that he is pretty much a fly on the wall so he takes his exit as well. Ximena asks Nando how they can help her. Nando says only being around her for support. Not much more we can do.

Outside the poledance workshop studio, Dana is there with Lazaro fixing up the huge sign, but Lazaro is staring at her curves a bit too much. The sign says tomorrow the business will have the grand opening.

Inside, Johnny and Jenny talk about Fernando basically kicking them out of the house. He feels betrayed. Jenny is also not seeing too many chances that Fernando will forgive Ana. Johnny says Ana needs to keep on insisting, it won’t be easy for him to forgive her. (but seems Johnny is more hopeful it will happen eventually than Jenny or Fanny at this time)

Nando tells Ximena that he feels Edith left for him. Ximena says maybe its my fault. Nando is sad that Edith had to change her life plans for their sake. Ximena is admiring how sensitive he is and how the pain of others affects him. She owes him everything, will never stop loving him. (they kiss… but I have to note that Nando is really crying…)

Yomama is tired of waiting. She will come another day. Bruno asks how she has been. She tells him now she lives in a place for elderly people, far from her family, but now she feels better than when she was with her daughter. How is he with Manuelita? He says he thinks Manuela will never forgive him. Yomama says keep trying, have to take the chance, Manuela will give in.

Arroyo (lead of the security guards at the house, the one that Ana called when Luz came down) tells Bruno that the alarm is ready. Bruno will go tell Fernando. As Bruno heads to the kitchen he keeps telling himself whether the guy's name is Arroyo(creek) or Rio (river). (LOL!!)

Bruno gets to Fernando in kitchen, he is pretty much done with his talk with the twins, Fernando invites the twins to go see how the alarm works (really, Fernando? you are going to SHOW THEM how to use it for pranks??) As they all leave the kitchen Siete is following the kids and Bruno tries (in vain, of course) to tell Siete to let Don Fernando go first... LOL!

Fanny comes downstairs with Lenin. She is trying to apologize to Lenin. She kicked him out. He understands she is really tense about now. He says he learned a lot from his parents… Lenin again tells her he loves her. They end up kissing… just as Leon arrives.

Previews: Ana gives Fernando a letter she wrote him. Seems it is Alicia’s turn to give a few words of support for Ana to Fernando. We see Ana and Fernando real close, but it seems he is turning his face away…

sorry this is a bit first-drafty. i will try edit it tomorrow at work. feeling pretty exhausted.

No problem, Marta; I know how exhausting ultimas semanas are.

I personally could never imagine continuing to work in the mansion under those conditions. Ana needs a vacation, but that won't happen until Enfrique is caught.

And where is that creep hiding, anyway? He can't be on the grounds all the time; even those inept guards would eventually find him. Where does he get any money? Or is he some inhuman monster?

I guess the answer to that is "yes."

When Fernando asked Ana to return to the house for the children, that's when she should have said "On one condition". "You must let me explain why I was working at Chicago." But of course, at that point, she didn't know that he would not listen to an explanation. The way things are going for her and the abuse she is taking and the embarrassment and humiliation he is causing her should be enough to make her leave and go work for Johnny. Hard on the kids, but might preserve her mental health. Fernando has the upper hand because he knows how much she loves them and will stay to care for them. What a lout!! I think if she left, he would eventually listen to her explanation and beg her to come back, but she's not strong enough to be willing to take that risk.

MartaIvett, thank you so much for the big recap! I don't know how you do it so quickly, I know it takes alot of work and I always appreciate!

Lately there are some plot turns that are disappointing: Fernando's unreasonable and uncharacteristic coldness. Johnny promoted to co-star status. Edith and Leon ending up in the losers' circle. But I'm happy that Yolanda got out from under Isabela's spiteful cone of evil.

Nice Review, marta thank you.

Fernando is really getting on my nerves now. He's being very unreasonable and I think at this point, I wouldn't blame Ana if she left. But she would never leave the kids which shows how much they mean to her.

I agree with Fanny. Edith is just running away from her problems and she should face them head on and deal with them. You don't just change your entire life because a 17 year old chose someone else. Is Nando the last boy on earth? Time heals all wounds and she would've moved on from this. Even though I think Nando made the right decision, it's still a mistake for Edith to just run away to another place.

As far as Dr. Angel, all I can do is shake my head. Ana is going to have to tell him, very sternly because he's hard-headed, she can't see him anymore since he won't respect how she feels. If he was smart, he would've tried to work things out with Magda, but unlike the other women in TN's, she walked away and stopped groveling. Bravo for her! I can see the Doctor eventually telling Ana, "I love you and you love me, I know you do!" He's crossing the line and Ana needs to do something about him, now.

Thanks Marta. Hard to get into the episode last night but appreciate your recap on all the filler.

Expendables I guess must leave town, so that was it on Edith. Some exit Osorio.

Bryan, I still don't think Lenin is Fanny's end game, it will be Leon,he who is the clone of Fer.

I really am not liking the portrayal of Fer right now. Like Leon when the temper and yelling starts, I would be like, bye bye. Ana may have lied, but he's acting like a child as this goes on day after day. Why are we suppose to think both these guys would be a lovely partner to live with for the rest of your life? Cripes, I have a temper, but these two need therapy.

Daisynjay

Gracias, Marta!

Surely Lenin cannot be end game with all of the pics of Fanny and Leon in the maze. Do you think Enfrique will attempt to kill Fanny, and Lenin will die while taking her bullet? Just a thought . . .

Johnny stole Ana's money and cheated on her. Those behaviors alone make him a slimeball in my eyes, but then he moved even further into slimeball territory when he used his boxing money on his pole-dancing workshop. If he is supposed to be even half a galan, he should have given Ana the money and allowed her to pay off her debt to Don Inodorofeo. Poor Jenny and Aura. My heart goes out to them.

Thank you again for a cap with so much detail. I know it takes you guys hours to do this and fully appreciate what you do for us.

Agree JnO, this story as much about Juan as Fernando and Ana, evidenced by the alternative theme song version, reminiscent of his and Jenny's song. Was there not enough content that Osorio had to promote Juan? Why wasn't this written with Juan (Osorio's alter ego) as the lead from the beginning?

I don't like Ana subservient to Fernando, they are way past that, Fernando is being disrespectful. If he is angry because she lied, then cut her out of his life and deal with the fallout with his children. I also understand Ana cannot detach herself from the children and put up with much more humiliation staying in the house when Isabela there. Groveling, love triangles and jealously, oh my!

Those poor children and Fernando's romances, he kinda likes Ana but marries Isabela, Ana loves Fernando but dates Diego, the kids craft a marriage proposal for their love giddy daddy and now the marriage off, Fernando's pissed at the world and the creepy doc hand delivers flowers to Ana at Fernando's house. I'm exhausted.

Wish they'd wrap up this Fanny and Leon thingie. Have him banished to the isle of misfit ex's.

The only problem with that statement is that Dorofeo didn't take Diego's money when he had the chance. I'm actually surprised he didn't demand more boxing matches out of Johnny after that first big win.

Of course, this was because Dorofeo found it easier to enslave women than men.

Ana's apparent lack of a spine in this situation must be the result of growing up in an orphanage. Ana helped to take care of younger kids as she became one of the older kids in the orphanage. She has true maternal instincts despite having grown up without her mother.

She is so desperate for a family that she endures this to be able to mother Fernando's children. She had a sort of family in her first workplace; I have previously noted that there appeared to be no rivalries or envious behavior among the women there, which is likely to be very unusual for such a place. Or maybe the other women knew that being too good at anything there would make Dorofeo pull out the shackles.

The pole-dancing workshop doesn't have to cater to women who end up on the fringes of the sex trade. Pole-dancing is obviously an efficient fitness activity and probably far less boring than other things people do to get fit. He can promote it on that basis and get far more students than if it is limited to those who want to do this for a living.

Now I'm reminded to hit "preview" in case someone else is posting. My previous post was initially addressed to EB.

I would argue that this situation is worse than when Hissabully was in the mansion. Ana knew what to expect from her and was capable of defending herself -- and the kids -- from it. Hissabela couldn't hurt her because she had her number.

Fernando can hurt her because Ana loves him. He had become a better father thanks to her and a person more open to things other than work. This setback hurts more than anything Hissabela could have done.

Thanks, great recap. Sad to see Edith leaving. I missed many episodes...did her step brother get caught/sent to jail when he was after her? Maybe that ordeal was part of her reason to leave?

Good point UA about this situation being worse. Don't know if he became a better father because of her, that discounts what he had done the prior 19 years. I concede, Estefanía pulled the heavy duty with the children but I think her death put the whole family in a tailspin. Likely she was always a counter balance to Fernando. Fernando is no more a horrible human being than Ana a lying tart. Ana brings spontaneity, joy and unconditional love, and Fernando stability, unwavering commitment and a safe haven.

Thank you, Marta. I had barely changed the channel and your post was up. You are a marvel!

Little Luz was the star last night. She was so cute, bounding down the steps with her crazy brothers only to hear news that broke her heart. She wanted Ana to be her mother. Ana was very sweet with her and Alicia in the scene that followed. How hideously exploitive of Fer to have the nanny solve his children's emotional problems but not to let her have guests during the day.

However, while Fernando is being ridiculous I think that the separation is going to be very short-lived. He is already coming around just a little with each encounter with the kids. Nando rose to the occasion and forced his father to listen to him, even if Fernando then needed to end it with a nasty harrumph. It looks like Alicia will get a little further with him tonight. Even Johnny had an impact.

Yes, to all who are disappointed that Johnny has been elevated the way that he has been. I did have to laugh when, in a typical goofy move, he gave Fer the flyer on the new pole-dancing studio. Talk about being out to lunch.

I think it is definitely Leon for Fanny. Lenin gets better and better and I hope that we have something good happening for him. And Bruno seems tracked to end up with Manuela. Betty did no more than cure the stutter -- not very nice treatment of a female character who has been a good and supportive friend to all.

Scene with Sebastian was also very moving. That young actor has come a long way since the beginning of this novela.

Maybe Beatriz will end up with Angel? One can hope.

Johnny was truly on another planet with that move.

I really think they should have reshot the maze thing mid-series. You can see that Sebastian and the twins have grown since. I hope the twins keep their looks as they become teens and adults. I can imagine them playing Jorge's sons again and again.

WOW EB

I didn't remember the sequence of Johnny fighting, taking the money, and not giving a part to Ana. He just fell another notch in my book, although I don't think there are any notches left for him.

Thanks for remembering that sequence.

I don't think Edith needed to leave town; that's drastic.

But if Edith loved Nando so much and disliked Ximena so much, and Nando is Fanny's brother and Ximena is Fanny's lifelong friend, Edith wasn't going to be able to hang around Fanny anymore. She can't even hang around Lenin because he's hanging with Fanny.

Plus Edith was finding herself getting irritated with Fanny and Fanny didn't deserve to be dumped on by Edith.

More likely, Edith's salary is probably going to some new character that's about to come on the scene.

I enjoyed Ana slapping/punching Isabela and the rewind. But Fernando should be told at some point that Isabela sent the video to Sebastian.

While Johnny should've given the money to Ana, Doroteo wouldn't have let Ana out of the contract had she presented the money to him.

Thanks, Marta, for another wonderful recap this week.

I felt sorry for León at the end. Is Fanny EVER by herself? Is she ALWAYS with Lenin or one of her buds? Seems like she won't be experiencing much academic success either unless she hits the books by herself. She better get "unconfused" quickly with her exam tomorrow.

The time has come for Ana to get some self respect and stop begging Fernando to be heard.

Good point about Pole dancing in the array of fitness activities, Urban.

My favorite scene last night was Yolanda passing her time with a margarita and then leaving because things were just too hectic to get to talk to Ana.

Jarifa

In view of the current circumstances it is better that Fanny is never alone. In fact, she has very loyal friends who are risking their own safety by hanging with her.

Yolanda needs to tell Fernando about DN. If he finds this out any other way Enfrique will get his kicks and that should not be allowed to happen.

Anon207 - I wondered, too, why Ana didn't reveal that Isabela sent the video to Sebastian. My guess is that Ana wanted to stick to the facts, feeling so truly desperate about the kids and Fernando. But STILL, I wanted him to know.

I don't think Sebas will keep this from his dad. Fernando will find out eventually if not from him from one of the other kids. He knows that Isabully has had it in for Sebastian so he will believe it no matter whom it comes from.

Thanks for terrific recap!!

Fer is working my last nerve. He is angry but he should still be acting like a gentleman, to Ana and his kids.

Yomama cant tell Fer about DN. She is too old to care for him and she knows Isa is unsuitable. Fer is the best option for the child.

Fanny has been carrying the weight of the family since her mom died. Poor thing is breaking under the pressure of it all.

Glad Nando took up Ana's side with Fer.

And lastly, oh to have Dana's figure!

Though I prefer Lenin, I think Leon is the end game for Fanny. A lot depends on how he reacts to the kiss. If he has a jealous snit, then that will push Fanny even more towards Lenin. If he’s mature about it, then Fanny will see a side of him she’s wanted to see.

I hope Lenin doesn’t die protecting Fanny. I wouldn’t want to see someone as young as Fanny carrying that kind of burden.

I say if Edith needs to leave in order to heal, then go. I don’t consider it running away. She’s doing what’s best for her. Sometimes you have to put distance between yourself and the object of your pain.

Bryan: I agree about Angel. She needs to cut him loose if he starts that crap.

I agree with those would rather Fer and Ana reconcile because he gets off his high horse and starts listening to everyone, especially Ana. I don’t want to see them reconcile because one the kids or is Ana kidnapped or hurt by Enrique or because Fer finds out that Isa actually did make a fool of him regarding DN.

Nanette

Martaivett--Could we ask you, pretty please, to put in your page break a little further above? We in Telemundo and Quiero Amarte want to last on the front page until Sunday, at least.
Thank you, Anita

The whole relationship with Fer and Ana just seems so off right now. He's acting like a spoiled child ( again we see the kids more mature than the adults--THEME). I keep getting the images of Fanny and even Ana begging for Fer to understand. I'm sorry, he who casts the first stone, has the man never done anything wrong in his life? from his comment about Isa, I don't think he believes he has. Which is actually rather disgusting and beyond egotistical.

Now that said, I agree, having them quickly hooked back up because of an Eeky or Doro threat would be too easy. Ingrained behavior is not switched off so easily. Where's that PSA Osorio?

Nanette, I went to the Lenin side when Leon went through his me-Tarzan antics and I find it almost heartbreaking this guy who's done so much, been a better friend to Fanny than any of her girlfriends ever have been is going to be tossed aside with probably not much of a wrap up.

I'm still waiting for the horror of most likely dealing with Pablo returning and having more time spent with that than with a character who has been the main support for Fanny and more evident in the storyline.

anyone else starting to get nervous about how they will wrap all this up in a pretty pink Osorio bow?

Daisynjay

don't worry Daisy... it won't be a 'blink and you missed' thing.

Anita, will move it in a jiffy.

UA, totally agree that what Ana is enduring now at the house is far worse than what she endured with Isa, both because deep love was not part of the equation with Isa and Ana knew who/how Isa was (contrary to Fer at first) and could prepare mentally and emotionally for Isa's attacks.
But i now see it clearly and give Ana some of the reason she was saying 'we don't want to confuse the kids'... tofie you are so right about the emotional roller coaster the kids have been put through... All three of them were actin great last night. Ana previewed the breakup would happen when he found out about her lie(she feared worst case scenario) and she knew the further she went into it (bf/gf, engagement, sleeping togeher), the worse the fall would be noit only for her and Fer, but for the kids.

I agree, and was almost on the floor giggling when Johnny gave Fernando the pole-dance school grand opening flyer and was even more surprised that Fernando did not shove it right back to Johnny's mouth. This made me think that now that Johnny and Jenny are making the 'pole dancing school' a 'decent' business (that goes well beyond antros for men and even fitness, some people are PRESCRIBED this type of balance building exercise as therapy)... I hope Fernando begins to change his perspective of this aspect of Ana's life/personality.
And yes, I still hope Fernando getting back with Ana is from his re-evaluating the facts that he knows about and also a little more explanation from Ana and others, rather than this 'lying' offense being bumped off by the bigger lie of DN's paternity.

I also hope the twins grow up as gorgeous as they are now... Even Nando looks good enough to be leading man material.

I agree with those who say Fernando is not free from sin and acting like he has every right to throw the first stone without thinking.
He does not allow lies... but then when Ana asks what to tell the kids he flat out says 'lets tell them the truth!!' but then backs up and says 'well, then lets say i just changed my mind!' when Ana asks 'really? are you going to tell them that all this breakup mess is because you can't handle the detail i kept from you that i danced at a club tube??'

I was cheering for Ana at that moment. Someone has to push him off his high horse. a big mirror shoved in front of his face when he yells that he does not admit lies!! RIGHT BACK TO YOU DUDE!!! (this is the example of the self-re-evaluation i say he has to do on his own with a virtual re-play of his attitude of the last few days)

I'm afraid the writers are going to go for the dramatic and have Fer and Ana reconcile over an incident.

Thanks, Martivett--I'll get around to reading it after I do the QA recap today. I've been watching MCET off and on. Sorry, but I just didn't like the antics of all the kids, and now Baby Diego--although he's not to blame, but I just can't see teenagers hanging around a bedroom taking turns holding a baby bundled up in a blue blanket.

I've returned to see how this ends and wish Jorge and Silvia better luck with their next novelas.

Anyone know anything about amores con trampa? commercial makes it look really stupid.

it does... i am sad to see Ernesto LaGuardia involved in something like that. Is that (the blonde) Itati Cantoral? I certainly won't waste my time on it.

Except for Eduardo Yanez that holds no attraction for me.

Anyone know what's replacing Hasta when the time comes?

Sorry you are all f'ed up and do not want to fix it Edith. Take your big bag of black face paint with you. Good riddance.

the ice is cracking, if not melting already. Did anyone else notice him reaching in his jacket inside pocket for the letter he had just returned to Ana? At least he has edited his tone of vouce with her. Even if he is still rejecting any attempt of hers to give him any explanation.

Alicia's pitch about ultimate happiness and moments where you see everything black did help Ana (as she promised her) quite a bit...

i am going to have a massive withdrawal of chocolate cake when this is over...
the 'harry met sally' scene, then their late night meetings in kitchen and his leaving chocolate cake on her night table to set it up... the tons of chocolate cake at their room at the beach, and now she leaves him a huge slice of choc cake on his bed with 'perdoname, te amo, Ana', which made him buckle at the knees... so far so good...

i think there is an absolutely hysterical moment tonight...

Ana is in effect the mother to his seven children, DN and Siete! They love her like a mother, completely forgive her (don't see anything to forgive), and have told her that they wanted her to be their mother.

Fernando has a real problem if he can't see what an ass he is being -- Ana is a permanent fixture in his home with as much emotional investment in the kids as he has. That in itself should give him reason to melt.
