Amores con trampa #15 17 Apr 2015... the setup for a very entertaining birthday party!! Carmen gets a bit of 'right back at you babe!' to Francis

Refritos:
Alejandra and Rocio, Rocio is  a nice big sister.
repeat of Isa dreaming with Facundo (a bit more of the dream, they are kissing, sharing a strawberry and some pancakes... "que rico!!")
Lo nuevo:
Santi wakes Isa up, he is really angry, jealous that she was dreaming of Facundo and the dream looked quite graphic... 'no tienes verguenza!!' (you have no shame!!)
Isa again rants back at him that Santi is the one that asked her to seduce the charrito montaperros.
they have a bit of a pillowfight. Santi yells at the rooster to keep singing (cocoodling).

At the college, turns out Francis converted the video clips of Carmen hitting her car into making a caricature of Carmen as a 'rancherita loca'.  Francis mocks Carmen in front of everyone at school. Francis declares the war on her directly. This is only the beginning, if you insist with MY BF, you will end up worse.  Carmen walks away. Francis runs to latch to Felipe but he did not miss the fact that the video was uploaded by some 'Frank Lop'.  She steals a kiss from him and Carmen sees it.

Back at the house... Diego came to see Rocio...  ISa warns them she does not want 'naco'-related scandals.  Diego is angry at Rocio, she says we were splitting up already.  He rants at her and realizes she is wearing a chain/pendant that Beto gave her. He rips it right off her neck.
Rocio rants that Diego was never charming or delicate with her.  Diego warns her that once the 'farmer' learns about her 'not so normal' features he will get away from her.  Rocio says i was looking for a reason to split with you but this is more than enough. Diego warns her she will come back to him begging.

Santi at the office is getting more bereating from Esteban, that it is not only the construction workers but also the office employees are overdue for their salary. Santi yells through the glass walls that he doesn't pay them because he has no money!! Esteban warns Santi that he will have to declare bankruptcy not only on the company that the rancher owns now but also on the new company!!  Later on Santi is ranting that he has problems all around him... He tells Esteban about his concerns that his 'puchis' could be unfaithful to him.   Esteban does not commit to a yes or no.  Santi says that at night she sweats, grins, sighs, moans, etc.  Santi says he did ask her to seduce Facundo but another thing is her behavior at night.  Esteban insists that Santi must convince Facundo to sign in to become an associate.  Santi is afraid that is a slip possibility, and besides, he is afraid Isabel wants to seduce Facundo to keep him!! not to take his money away.

Estefani is at some hotel or bar lobby calling someone. SHe says things are going well, according to their plan.  Santi is not bad eye candy. if it were an ugly guy, forget it! no way not even for all the gold in the world!  She could have bad moments but not bad taste!  She has always liked Santi.  And don't worry about ISabel, 'I am more woman than her'... she needs to see the person on the other end asap...  (does this now discard Isa as the one being on the other end of the phone?) (once she hangs up) 'i am the one most interested in having everything go very... very well.'

Porfirio shows up at ISa's door with a basket of eggs (not cleaned, they have the hen's feathers and dirt on!). He brought them for Conchita. but Isa orders Conchita to 'accept his eggs now' (this went on with some funny wordplay since the spanish word for 'eggs' is a translation of 'balls' too)  Isa ends up bringing Porfirio back to the Carmonas house. Perpetua explains that Porfirio has been very flirty all his life with every woman he faces.   Isa takes Maria away with her, even though Maria was in the middle of cooking the 'comida'.  Perpetua says go, i will finish cooking. Isa is going to take Maria to a restaurant.

Back at college, Carmen is worried, Felipe is trying to encourage her that everything will get fixed.  Carmen says they even called her parents to come to have a talk.  He keeps trying to calm her down.  She then gives him a gift... (some panque, some kind of cake but from the faces FElipe made it is just as bad as the salty dinner she fixed for her family last night).

At a restaurant Isa is getting drunk (or faking it) and Maria keeps trying to keep her out of trouble. Isa is talking a lot of nonesense about something on fire. THen the conversation gets into an argument since Maria does not want to give her children permission to attend Rocio's birthday party.  ISa insists in Maria letting them go.  then is trying to convince Maria that she is the 'head' of her household.  Isa is thinking 'i won't rest until i take your and your hubby's money away!'

Francis sees Carmen and Felipe together from afar and she makes her next move.  She talks to a guy who will be the DJ at Rocio's bday party. She needs to ask him for a favor.
At the Carmona's dinner table Facundo is uneasy about Maria not being there for dinner. Porfirio is complaining to Perpetua that the food does not have Maria's flavor.  The kids are watching Carmen's video on the internet. The little boy shows it to Facundo. Facundo is confused at first, then gets mad.
Carmen tells Facundo that they warned her at the university that if she gets in trouble again she might be expelled. Just at that moment Maria comes home and Facundo is p)))'d.  Facundo yells now at Maria, reminds her he had warned her that she could get into the business ONLY if she did not forget her house duties.  Maria insists she has not forgotten any. He says yes you did.
Facundo and Maria leave the table while the kids keep watching the video with Porfirio who is really having fun with the pictures of the 'campesina loca' Carmen.

At the Velasco's house, Conchita tells Rocio she is worried she is getting in some trouble.   Rocio swears she is not doing anything wrong.  Rocio gets to her room and seems she was hiding Beton in there. They get to kissing. He backs out, he is feeling modest/not ready.  She pulls him back into another kiss. He is about to melt.  He insists he respects her, she says i know but i don't (respect) you.  She gets him to sit on her bed.  She explains that her birthday party will have a theme.  She has to explain it.  He promises he will be there with her... then notices she is not wearing her chain. She admits Diego broke it when she split with Diego. But she will have it fixed. Beto only cares that she did split with Diego. She confirms and they get back to kissing.

At Carmona dinner table, they are still mocking/having fun with the Carmen video on the net. Beto says it is the most popular video on the net now. Facundo is not enjoying it. he is mad and keeps warning Carmen not to keep contacting the Velascos.  Carmen begs them (and Beto joins in hte begging) to let them go to the birthday party. Maria says 'if it means that much to you then you can go'.  The kids are happy. Even Porfirio will go 'with my own permission!' . Later, in their bedroom, Facundo rants at Maria since she went against the order he had given the kids to not go to the party.  HE says he will let it go this one time, but Maria better not counter him in front of the kids. Maria gives him a rant that the kids have TWO parents and both of them have a right to an opinion.
Next morning, Alejandra has fixed (by herself!) a cupcake with a candle on top for Rocio. Rocio is very nice and appreciative of the gesture by Alejandra.

At the college, Francis again insults her sidekick girls. Then they all notice that Carmen is on TV being interviewed accross the street, and 'out of all things' about the video on the internet.
Carmen sends a greeting to her family. Right then we see that the Carmonas are also watching on the TV.  Perpetua says they should go back to the fields.  Facundo not so against it anymore.
Francis trips Carmen up.  Carmen wins this battle with plenty of university students as witnesses. Carmen: "i am very happy and its all thanks to you!!  if you had not uploaded the video noone would have come to interview me, and i will thank you for it all my life!!... and lets change the score! Carmen 1 Panchita 0!! '  Francis tries to yell at the students around to get them to support her instead.  Even mentions she is teh VP of the student body.

Susana and Alejandra are singing and having a good time with some song and dance in Susana's room.  Maria brings fresh pear juice to the girls and a bottle with a nipple for Margarito.  Alejandra mentions that her family never gives her any fresh juice.  Alejandra invites Susana to have a pajama party while Rocio's party is going on. Maria says will check with Isa. if she is ok with it,then I am too!.

At Isa's Maria brings the first couple throws. Isa loves it as she puts it on.  She says she has a headache.  When Maria suggests to peel a potato and put the slices on her face and forehead.  Maria mentions the 'piyajada... piyamada!'  to Isa. Isa has no trouble with it.
Maria mentions to ISa that she does not seem to pay attention to her own daughter.  The girl said she spend more time with Conchita than with Isa.  ISa mocks the 'Little House on the prairie' show...
Beto is getting dressed with one of the shirts he bought. Facundo comes by. He approves but wonders why all of a sudden Beto cares what he wears.  Facundo says he is concerned Beto is dating a girl who has a commitment.  Facundo says you can have any girl you want!  Beto says Rocio is no longer committed.  Facundo says what about your  mother and her reluctance to see you with that girl?  If she catches you there will be heck to pay, there will be feathers all over!!

Isa and Santi have a very hard to watch scene in their bedroom.  Santi confronts her about her 'dreams' of the neighbor.  Seems she has not slept with Santi in 5 years!!  He claims she is throwing away their marriage and she doesn't care. She again insists in her headache.  He at first caresses her head and then pulls her by her ears.  ISa thinks 'it is incredible you have any claims now when it was you who ordered me to seduce Facundo to save your company from ruin'.
Previews:  seems this birthday party goes out of control... TOTALLY...

Thank you for letting us know!

Goody Marta, cannot wait!

I find the weekends tough without my Carmona fix! :)

Diana

Woo hoo!

Thanks, Marta! I get to watch "in real time" tonight and I always want to start talking as soon as it's over!!

Yay! That sounds great, Marta.

Jarifa

Thanks Marta!

So many scenes made me smile during this episode!

Thank you so much, Marta!

I didn't catch who Francis called so the recap really helped. What in the world will Francis plan with the DJ?

Alejandra's birthday morning surprise was so sweet. She is a wonderful young lady. I love to see Rocío interact with her. She's such a kind big sister.

I also needed your recap for the Margarito scene. I didn't pay attention to the people or the words they were saying. My eyes were riveted on that little pig, his name tag and his bottle.

Thank you again, Marta!

Marta, thank you so much for the recap. Great title!

Sara, I also liked the scene between Rocío and Alejandra. At least the kids are close in that crazy house. I too wonder what Francis coukd plan with the DJ.

Of course my favorite scene was with our little porker Margarito. He was so sweet! I wonder if he will be at the pijama party.

2nd fave: Santiago imitating Isabel in her Facundo dream ecstasy.

I am really enjoying how Carmen is taking advantage of her Francis initiated fame and publicly thanking Francis for it. The best was when she got the crowd to chant "Panchita, Panchita". Loved the family watching her on tv.

Poor Conchita la del "cuerpo de uva" :) being the object of grandpappy Porfirio's continuing affections. Great scene with his basket of eggs. Great that Isabel's " Agárrale los huevos al vecino." was left in. The censors must have given up or were asleep. So glad they seem to be gone.

As Marta mentioned, Isabel cannot be Estefany's partner. I love a good mystery.

So Facundo suddenly is not a happy camper that María is not home 24/7 and is voicing her opinion with the kids. Looks like he is having a hard time adapting to the change in their marriage. Will he use her growing independence as a justification to stray?

OT: For a beautifully filmed fairy tale, see "Cinderella".
Wonderful!

Jarifa

Marta, so far, I've enjoyed a fragrant, steaming cup of coffee and your fantastic recap. Your vocabulary was a treat and your title was great. Excellent.

"Santi wakes Isa up, he is really angry, jealous that she was dreaming of Facundo and the dream looked quite graphic... 'no tienes verguenza!!' (you have no shame!!") was my favorite line of many.

Of course, my favorite scene was sweet Margarito and the bottle. The fact Marg seemed only mildly interested didn't matter. The perfect pig is being treated like a treasured child.

And Sara, ITA. What a little scene stealer Marg is! How can you look at anyone else or focus on the conversation?? :)

There was much to celebrate including Carmen's clever turning the tide on Francis and Ale's whipping up a special cupcake for Rocio.

Jarifa, I also enjoyed Santi imitating Isa.

But "Facundo yells now at Maria, reminds her he had warned her that she could get into the business ONLY if she did not forget her house duties" was a sour note among the sweet. I do not like the chauvinist side of Facundo, especially when he averted his face to avoid Maria's kiss. This is the 21st century man - grow up. Please. I don't like certain sides of the character.

But, may I digress to discuss the actor a bit? I thought Eduardo looked dreamy in the black shirt but then when I saw that amazing blue shirt, I melted. I'm miffed by the character but swooning over the actor.

I also didn't like hearing the unsettling details of Isa and Santi's relationship or lack thereof.

Marta, you've made my day.

Diana

Diana, ITA about Facundo. My opinion: chauvinism is still alive and well in the 21st century on both sides of the border. Sometimes it is overt like with Facundo and to a certain extent Santiago, other times much more hidden and subtle. At least with Facundo, María knows what/ who she is dealing with. She was raised in the system, so to speak. Wish he were more evolved, but I agree he still looks good!

Jarifa

Quick thought before I head to the grocery store- Facundo is definitely the stereotypical macho chauvinist... But I think Maria can play him like a fiddle. And that's hilarious to me.

OT- there was a prancing calf last night!

Thanks, Marta. What a treat to get your fab recap on a Saturday morning.

I'm going to take a chance here and compliment Univision on finally realizing they had no reason to censure the show. I love that they we now get to hear Facundo's "negrita" endearments to his wife. It adds to the characters and their intimacy.

I also got a kick out of Isa's "just grab the neighbor's eggs" line. What a hoot. My favorite scene. Double entendre is used on non-pay English U.S. shows, so why not Spanish language shows. I'm so glad Univision seems to have grown up.

I have to stick up for Facundo a wee bit. The main reason he wasn't letting Carmen and Beto go to the party was to appease Maria. So when she (thankfully) changed her mind, IMO she should've consulted with him first before telling the kids it was okay. I enjoyed Facundo's being down in the dumps at the dinner table because Maria wasn't there. That man loves that woman. But his telling her she was neglecting them? Bah humbug!

I'm still rooting for Santi to clean up his act. He got a bit physical with Isa in anger and of course he shouldn't. But if they haven't had sex in five years and he didn't express anger, he would be a total wimp. Hopefully squeezing her forehead with his hands is the most abusive he'll ever get with her. But honestly, if Isa wants a divorce, she should get one instead staying. But of course she staying for the money and whatever plot she's got up her sleeve.

One more thing. Maria and Facundo argued in the privacy of their room, like they should have. When she said she had a right to her own opinions, he was silent (hopefully, this means he was mulling over this revelation). I like this realism in the show. Facundo is a chauvinist, but ITA Maria is no slouch. I don't mind a healthy battle of the sexes.

Jarifa, I think you've come to the bottom line regarding Facundo with much wisdom "Wish he were more evolved, but I agree he still looks good!" Say it sister! :)

Sara, yes, Maria does "play him like a fiddle". Exactly. I've said all along she runs the roost.

That said, I wish he would show a little more maturation. Those wounded side looks the actor throws when being a petulant child though still make me smile.

And Niecie, in the end, you noted what really matters "That man loves that woman". He certainly does.

So enjoying the discussion this morning.

Diana

Tks Marta
I just love TN parties! Looking forward to that

Diana-
I got my "plays him like a fiddle" idea from you I'm sure. :-)

I'm probably showing my ignorance about comedies, but honestly I never knew that the comedies could generate so much discussion! But this show always seems to give us something to chew on.

Jarifa-
"Will he use her growing independence as a justification to stray?"

We've got several folks contemplating that, don't we?

So far Facundo has just been flirty.

Isa has often thought "I want Facundo" and she seems to be pursuing that (and taking his money.)

María hasn't had any thoughts like that.

Santi has actively engaged in cheating and if Little Santi had cooperated, it would have gone even further.

Not to mention Facundo and Isa together in the opening credits.

I really don't want Facundo or Maria to stray. I want to see them together...despite his sometimes macho attitude.

Niecie-
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will not have anymore bleeping. That "grab the neighbor's eggs" line was hilarious and I would have been annoyed if I didn't get to hear it. Also agree with your "I don't mind a healthy battle of the sexes." statement.

Vario-I can't wait for the party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! I just caught up and watched the last two episodes. Thanks so much Marta. Fabulous recap. One correction- Santi said he and Isa haven't had relations for 5 MONTHS. Is a then said it didn't matter it it were 5 years or five centuries. Still means big trouble for their marriage, but still within salvagvable range.

Ok. Now that Stefi said to her mystery accomplice that she's more woman than Isa, I can let my theory go about Isa being the accomplice. That mystery, and the mystery of Isa's accomplice, and what significant date she is talking about, deepen. Could it be that Rocio gets some sort of inheritance upon her birthday? How old is she turning?

Loved all the scenes between Ale and Rocio and the obvious love between them. I also love that Rocio and Feli are treated as true children of the household, even if Isa and Santi aren't the best parents in the world. Ale is equally neglecied. But I don't doubt that Isa and Santi love all three.

The party looks like it's going to be fun for us viewers, if not for all the guests. Can't wait!

I also like Rocio and Beto together, but it does seem like both of them are struggling to find their place and their vocation. They both have too much time on their hands, and no real sense of direction.

Interesting thought about Beto and Rocio. And I know Isa and Santi have mentioned to Rocio that she's not really doing anything.

I hope the writers give those two something to do.

I don't like the character Diego, but the actor playing him is a cutie.

I wonder if there is some joint venture Rocio and Beto could start? I know his interest and skills are farming and animals. But what are Rocio's interests/skills? Besides fun half braided hairstyles?

Vivi, I don't know what Rocio does. Not sure exactly how old she is? She doesn't appear to go to school or hold a job.

Hopefully, she's cured her penchant for bad boys but like you, I can't think that we have seen any indication of where her interests lie or what she has planned for her future.

Beto at least seems to be inclined to work with the animals.
And to be honest, I hate to say it but Facundo doesn't seem to have been doing much, am I wrong?

Sara, I am watching this with the full expectation Facundo and Maria will stay together! I'm hoping their issues are limited to his flirting (only) and his pride and macho attitude making a few too many appearances.

I hope they play the Facundo and Isa fantasy scenes for laughs only. I want Isa and Santi together too at the end with hopefully just a bit of minor mischief committed!

Diana

And really that scene at the end of the credits was just a fantasy scene. So that couldn't mean end game, right?

Rocío seems very sweet to her younger sister. Maybe a teacher's assistant?

Rocio does seem to have a nurturing spirit, despite her tough exterior. I could see her being a teacher.

Facundo has a LOT of money that he needs to learn how to manage and learn how to make work for him. That alone could be a full time job. And if he does decide to invest in a business, he and Beto could run it. It would be nice if Beto decided to go to school to learn some of those skills. In the meantime, it seems the two of them are trying to keep busy with their garden and the animals in the yard. But they both still have too much time on their hands.

OMG! I meant to mention the fantasy pancake, strawberries, and apron scene. It was hilarious! I giggled so much.

Facundo and Beto could sell organic veggies to local high end restaurants. Lol.

Sara- That's actually not a bad idea!

Sara and Vivi, I like your collective idea of Rocio going into teaching. Perfect!

Sara, absolutely! I think the shot of Isa and Facundo you spoke of is her fantasy only.

Vivi, yes, Facundo does have wealth management issues. I'd like to see him hire someone trustworthy but take some accounting courses as well. Maria kept saying how smart he is so I'd like to see him put that to good use.

Can't wait to see the party.

Diana

I'm pretty excited about the party too!!

I'm not sure if this is on topic or off topic, but it's clear that they are making lots of progress on the show that will replace Amores con trampa.

I am happy about that because I think that really does mean this will be short.

No, I don't look forward to this ending. But I think this means there might be less of a chance of this getting artificially extended...and therefore ruined.

That's good to know Sara - thank you.

Although I'm loving every minute of this, the longer things get stretched out, the more filler is added. I just don't want that to be fantasy becoming reality for Isa!

I think there are enough interesting and fun stories to carry through for a few, brief, happy months.

Diana

I hope we get more Susana.

And I keep forgetting to say- I'm more than a little annoyed with Feli. He keeps telling Carmen they are just friends, but he's a little too friendly and affectionate. No wonder the girl can't let go.

Sara, Diana, ITA that it would be great if this novela cannot have any extensions due to time constraints. The story might actually stay coherent! It must be hard being a writer for novelas when you are asked for extensions knowing what it will do to the original plot.

As far as Felipe goes, he does seem to be "almost" consciously working both angles/girls. If he were really in love with Francis and knew his friendship with Carmen were that big of a problem, would he not ditch his relationship with her? Maybe he is just enjoying the attention.

So many possibilities!

Jarifa

I'm sure he's loving the attention... Except for Carmen's cooking! That was a funny scene, too!

Also, I've never understood the idea that if something had good ratings then extending and ruining it was a good idea.

Thanks for the recap, Marta!

I'm loving this little TN.

I don't think that Isa and Facundo are necessarily going to be an end game based on the opening credits. I think what we're seeing is an "almost kiss" and that he's going to come to his senses and peel away at the last moment. At least I hope he does. Those darn writers -- they've made me care about the Maria character.

Hey Aleta!

Maria really is a great character. The casting of AZ was brilliant IMO.

Yes, Sara, she's a great actress. In a short time, Maria has gone from timid and acquiescent to a woman who speaks her mind, and it's believable. Have you noticed that her wardrobe is starting to change? Her dresses seem a bit more form-fitting, although she's still wearing the cowboy boots.

Maybe by the end of this, Maria will be the successful boutique owner that Isa hoped to be.

I hadn't noticed! I need to pay closer attention I think.

I really want to see her shawls become a big success.

Aleta, you are very observant. I hadn't noticed Maria's wardrobe change but am applauding her speaking her mind much more now.

Sara, I think the shawls are quite beautiful and I would buy one in a heartbeat - I wear them at home and work but don't have anything quite as nice in my wardrobe.

Does anyone know how this is doing in the ratings? After CS '09 (with Eduardo) was yanked to the midnight hour, I'm always nervous when I really get wrapped up in a TN.

Diana

It is doing well, Diana. Usually behind Hasta... But averaging about 3 million viewers.

Diana you don't know how many times you validate my passion/obsession for TNs. I get worried about ratings and schedule changes too!

(Uni hasn't helped much with my trust issues. Lol)

Just googled this and one article (April 7th) said "Univision Network Ranked Second Last Week Among Young Adults 18-34, Outperforming NBC, CBS and FOX" and cited viewership for this.

Hopefully, this continues.

Diana

http://www.medialifemagazine.com/this-weeks-broadcast-ratings/

Here's a link. Scroll down for Spanish Language ratings for the week ending April 5th. I have no current info.

If anyone is better at finding ratings, please share :)

And hopefully it will get better as we near rerun season ;)

Hi everyone and thanks to the initiators who got this off the ground recapping. I'm enjoying this. I like that we're not having staged musicals as part of the show ... really pathetic in the last one. I think Facunda and Isa already had that almost kiss pretty much in the beginning when Isa had the tricolor dress on which apparently pops up in other TNs.

Sara, thanks so much.

Interesting that this is ahead of Sombra Del Pasado which is excellent. Even more surprising is that Hasta is #1. That said, it has been good recently as things are heading to the finish. I admit I am watching some of this - once I start a TN, I rarely bail (although I mostly have on Que Te Perdone Dios due to the late hour only).

Diana

I wasn't being clear with what I said. This is my favorite and am happily surprised so many are watching and agreeing with us on this line.

Sombra likely appeals to a wider audience range which is why I was surprised this came in at #2).

And so many shy away from comedies (I'm looking at myself) so am pleased this is doing so well.

Diana

I did not watch Hasta because I had already seen a version. Early episodes of Hasta seemed very similar so I bailed. I'm sort of glad I did only because I don't have the attention span for a near 200 episode show.

It's interesting that Hasta has fewer viewers, but I guess having the better share is what's important.

Sombra's numbers are low compared to La Gata, which boggles my mind.

Our comments crossed.

Amores con trampa is really making me question why I avoided the comedies for so long. I enjoy this so much.

Obviously I am glad there are others watching. I was really nervous about getting the ball rolling because I was sure it wouldn't last a week.

Anon10:05- I'm glad we have another fan in the house. I will keep my fingers crossed that this doesn't get too crazy.

While I can see the appeal of musical numbers (just look how popular glee was), it's not my cup of tea and I think the three times I paid attention to MCET there was some musical number.

The comedies actually do tend to do well. So well that Uni long ago gave them the plumb 8pm slot instead of 7pm. They get to capture the whole family, kids to grandparents. In that respect I do not think Caray is representative of the average audience, I would not take our opinion on comedies as the majority reaction. And I've noticed in the US that if a dark tn like Sombra gets really popular it needs a really popular bit of beefcake at the forefront, like Rulli or Levy. But not always. It's just hard to gauge what's going to click with an audience.

Comedies at 8? Really? That's interesting. When I started watching I usually noticed the comedies at the 7/6 slot. That's where I remember Hasta el dinero and Llena de amor being. That's not saying much though because sometimes my memory is fuzzy.

It wasn't around during LFMB. When did it air?

The comedies have been on at 8pm since Por Ella Soy Eva in 2012. Uni hasn't looked back since. They've have great success in that slot.

I wish they had put QPob in the earlier slot. That's another comedy that I came close to getting into, but that late slot is a killer.

Behind a couple of eps, but I'll play catch-up later. Must watch the party everyone is talking about tonight!

It may be Monday...but the anticipation of watching The Party has some of the bite out of an otherwise yucky day :D

Sure agree. I had to take out the winter coat again today.

Jarifa

Ugh! So sorry, Jarifa!

Thanks for this recap because despite five efforts at watching episode 15 I have yet to finish it. I keep getting that v1rusalert popup that stops me from navigating and I have to cntl-alt-del to restart the computer every time that happens.

I'm really sorry to have missed most of this episode.

I may have to do hulu+ until I get my new set...
