Glad to see Katia staying in rehab. Not surprised that Ximena dropped Yago like a hot potato: getting out of dodge.

However, Yago's still addicted to Sara. He might be needing sex addiction rehab ROFLOL.

I have to admit that I Loled when Hernan didn't even scream when Abel cut off his fingers. He even said to Lucio that he would even cut them out himself today if it wasn't for Abel's "assistance". Hernan is really in quite a shape. A lot of mobsters say that they don't feel any pain but they always scream in the end. Hernan seems to be an exception!

Lucio is getting too careless with Camilo. He clrearly underastimates him even now. What makes Lucio think Camilo won't kidnap Matias once again?

But I predict that Sara is being taking to some fun spot on a surprise date with Camilo. I don't think they need a fancy red helicopter if they're just going to kill her.

Didn't realize how much I still like Abel till the confrontation with Hernan. I was scared that killing machine Hernan would get the upperhand and was yelling at the screen for Abel to just shoot him instead of going for his fingers.

Yago, for pete's sake leave Ximena alone and own up to still wanting Sara.

Julie, I agree Sara is probably okay but her heart must be pumping like crazy to alone on the helicopter with Hernan. I guess she can thank good old dad (not!) for being able to keep her cool.

Yay, Katia in rehab. Who knew she and Teo would be the one couple to root for.
 

Really this telenovela is the worst I have ever seen for violence. It is really over the top. Are people really entertained by watching fingers cut off? It seems to me that evil in the world progresses insidiously, step by step what was considered immoral is next OK; only the move towards immorality has no satisfied point for the perps. So what is permissible for public viewing continues to degenerate. I recall some years ago how a woman was raped with a broom stick in some program, then copycat in real life. Conversely methinks, revival for good comes as a drastic & sudden Gestalt shift.

2) I don't know what is going on with the helicopter flight of Sara. Will she be dumped out somewhere? I also don't know to whom the psycho sadomasochistic red-shoe Hernan is loyal now. He has fixated on Camilo as das Lider & got the man who raised him killed by tattling on him. So why wud he not do the same to Luscious?

3) We saw a chink in the vengeance-sick side of YagoJumpInTheLake. He forgave Abel. So will we now see him one by one forgiving his betrayers?

4) I don't understand Katia, why didn't she tell the FidelCastro/YagoJump gang how she was kidnapped, injected with dope & tortured? I did miss a couple of episodes & just read recaps on them Mon & Chewsday. As I saw it, basically Katia did not relapse, but was forced. When she was released tho she went chugalug on booze, perhaps feeling a need for it to fight opiod withdrawals? I don't know how well that works, but I did know a guy who seemed to be trying to get off of Methadone with booze. I don't know how he ended.

5) So what is left now, 10 more episodes? Isn't this a 65 cap story?

So what will it be now with Sara? Shall we give the principle parts of the Latin verb spitare? Spito . . . Spitare . . . Hocto . . . Splat!
 

Am I missing something? I don't see the date for the resumen, the plot synopsis (for which I am thankful). I mean it looks like the date is the date of the posting, not of the capitulo. I am assuming that the Sunday synopsis is for last Thursday, as Frifish night is for fútbol.
 

Enoch I agree with you in your opinion towards Abels scenes cutting fingers. I like this Novela and Abels character but I barely can handle those scenes. They make me anxious and it freezes me that Hernan instead of showing pain he was feeling pleasure when Abel cut out his finger.
 

Thanks, Countx! I finally saw the episode. I'm hoping that what's happening is a surprise romantic trip Camilo planned, and not a Hernan torture trip.

The look Lucio gave Hernan when he causally said he probably would have ended up cutting off his own finger eventually was hilarious.

Lucio does seem to be underestimating the people he's working with. He doesn't get just how perverse Hernan is. And he only this episode realized that it was Camilo who was ultimately behind loan shark Tomas and the kidnapping. What a dope.

Both Fidel and Yago are being increasingly confronted with the choice between continuing their vengeance, or moving on with their lives/loves/families. I would like to think it's a real choice, but frankly at this point, neither Camilo nor Lucio would let them live in peace.

Katia feels ashamed of being addicted again, of being "weak" enough to fall into Lucio and Hernan's hands, and probably also scared of what Yago and Teo would do if they learned what L & H did to her. I'm very glad she agreed to go to rehab. I hope neither Lucio nor Hernan find out where she is.


 

Oh yeah, I was stunned that Lucio was only just now figuring out that Camilo - Tomas Vargas's boss, for crying out loud - knew about the kidnapping. DUH, Lucio.

The tension in these last couple of weeks is almost too strong to bear. I hope the resolution will be worth the wait!
 

Just a bit of clarification-- It wasn't all the money that he lost after committing the fraud that Lucio got back. It was just the money he had initially invested in the Punta Azul project (a real hotel/casino development) when he first partnered with Yago. And now Camilo has paid off a judge to basically give Lucio full rights over the project. It's totally illegal, but looks like Camilo shelled out a lot of money to make it happen. Camilo reminded Lucio that the money wasn't even Lucio's in the first place, but instead the money HE had given to Tomas to loan Lucio. This seemed to surprise Lucio that Camilo was ultimately behind the loan (what an idiot). But Camilo has decided to be generous and let him keep the money.
 

Vivi: No wonder why Lucio's family abandoned his butt!

 

Thanks to all of the wonderful recappers! I returned from vacation and spent this weekend catching up on the episodes.

I'm hoping Abel and Julia get away before anything happens.

I think Camillo has something bad planned for Sara. And Lucio is such an idiot. How could he not know that Camillo was behind everything once he saw the relationship Tomas and Camillo had up close?

I wish that Fidel would choose leaving with Julia and Selma to staying for revenge but I can also see how important it is to him. Both his sons were murdered. How can he move forward when that guilt has weighed him down for 20+ years?

So, I can't see Sara surviving until the end if Yago is going to get custody of Matias. Lucio could end up in jail or dead, we'll have to wait to see.

I think ultimately, fate will take care of Camilo, Sara, and Lucio, so vengeance won't be necessary.

I agree with Enoch, why couldn't Katia tell everyone what really happened to her. It wasn't her fault that she got hooked on drugs again.

Wouldn't surprise me if he sends Hernan to go after the Guerrero's again. I'm also betting on Bruno getting whacked if he starts his crime-fighting investigation again.

We're getting closer in the Home Stretch.
