Tres Veces Ana # 104 - And this is why you should always ask to see your realtor’s credentials

Holy guacamole, we wanted some action and today’s episode certainly delivered. So let’s dive right in.

Santiago and Mariano are having a heart-to-heart. Mariano asks many questions with his usual holier-than-thou attitude. Santi is very respectful and apologetic – he will leave the lives of both sisters as promised. Santi thinks there is no need to tell anything about no surgery to Ana Le and Ana Lu doesn’t know about the tumor to begin with. He also won’t have Remedios with him, so as to not compromise her safety again. Mariano thinks he would need someone – perhaps a woman he loves as a mother – by his side throughout this ordeal. Mariano is also sad to know that he will see Marcelo/Santiago die. There was a time they were friends. What about Facundo – does he know? No, and Santi doesn’t consider him as a father. Santi will let the tumor kill him, and he poetically goes into a mad discourse on tumor being the weapon destined to kill the murderous no-good Marcelo. And his, Santi’s, new life served to bring the sisters together. He really is the vehicle of the destiny (and we should petition to rename the novella to “One man, one path, one destiny….oh, and the separated triplets”).

Police is knocking at Viridiana’s store front door and they come bearing an arrest warrant for child kidnapper Solebad, who is presently fretting in the back of the store over her destiny with Ceci. Is there a way out of the store? No time for explanations, but Ceci must hide her. Ceci gives in and points to a hiding place. Viri cannot believe Sole could ever kidnap a child, and says that she resigned several days ago and Viri has no idea of Sole’s whereabouts. La policia asks to check the store and Ceci, fresh from the hiding mission, invites them in. Sole almost get a pass as the police looks around and doesn’t find anything, but at the last moment she is discovered and arrested for the kidnapping of Ana Lucia Alvarez del Castillo.

The object of this commotion Ana Lu is at Rem’s bedside discussing her very difficult and confusing situation. Santi said she would hate him, which she thought impossible, but now she does! How could he not reveal the truth to her, even after finding it out for himself? (Believe us, Ana Lu, we are there with you. And this applied to 90% of the characters you interact with by the way.) How can she now face her family with this shame? Well, Rem (having been brainwashed by fake Ana Le, and apparently having retained none of Ramiro’s warnings) has an answer for a part of this rant: her sister, Ana Leticia, does not hold a grudge. It took a lot to forgive Ana Lu, but she did, as she understands how things happened and wants the best for the both of them. Ana Lu almost looks touched. (And we have one question for Rem: you just got shot by a man who lived in your own house. Doesn’t that merit just a bit of suspicion for the strange woman, you’ve met once, but heard not such great things about from both Ram and Sole? Ah, just go ahead and pet the snake then.)

Rem goes further and in trying to keep Ana Lu on Santi’s side, reveals about the tumor and the impending death, surely thinking it’s been a slow on news week, so what the heck.

Our abue and Leonor, in the meantime, are hard at work preparing to clean the basement. They sent away Llora, so she wouldn’t object and this is both for her good and Ana Le’s. Ana Lu is dead, the bracelet thrown away, the case is closed. (Abue should never play cards for money, she’d be terrible at betting and bluffing.)

Tin, heeding the advice of his sharp sister Clawdia (ha, pun totally intended), comes to the pension with the story of being evicted from his dumpster and needing to move in with mommy. Said mommy is overjoyed and next morning takes him to the rehab center, completely forgetting about Remedios and hospital duty. At this rehab center, by the way, Ratmundo is meeting Valeria. Val just got off the phone with Llora and Ram, and the latter promised for the 100th times to devote at least five minutes to Val’s case next week, when he is back from his shagathon. She did not let them know that she was back at the foundation waiting for Ratmundo. Rat didn’t have anything to discuss, but he brought the police with him, who certainly had some questions. Val is escorted out under Tin’s watchful eye and oboe accompaniment.

Valeria is processed through the system and brought to her cell, where her cell mate is, predictably, Sole. Sole herself was processed not that long ago and dealt with it quite calmly. They instantly bond over it being their first night in prison. Val is innocent she says, and Sole responds that she can’t say that for herself.

Mariano is over at the hostel in a heartbeat, looking for Ana Lu, but runs into Facundo instead. Mariano realizes that Facundo knew all along Ana Lu was alive and did not say anything. Screaming and yelling ensues. Facundo argues that Ana Le and Marcelo love each other, don’t want the divorce and were trying to save their marriage. He needs to find Marcelo and talk to him. Blue-eyed tio, in his righteous indignation, claims that now that he is at the wheel, things will be done his way. Really, Facundo has more important things to worry about and should really talk to his son. Facundo is trying to do just that, he replies, and inserts a couple insults for Remedios in the process. Mariano thinks Facundo should be grateful – that woman is now in the hospital, as she risked her life for his son.

Well, what do you know, Facundo doesn’t waste any time and is off to Ram’s place to look for Marcelo there. Ram’s digs are quite popular today, as Ana Lu and Maribel visited his apartment too, in hopes of finding Santiago. In the middle of the biggest turmoil of Ana Lu’s life, Maribel finds time to complain that Ana Lu’s information about Llora, Ram and their wedding is targeted directly at robbing Maribel of the one man she likes, yet again.  (We are starting to think she should follow Oilando, wherever that one decides to depart and stop annoying us viewers.)

Speaking of Oily, he calls Ana Le to find out about his money. Ana Le is all over it, she says.

Having been unable to find either Santi or Ram, Ana Lu and Maribel are leaving, when Facundo’s car abruptly stops in front of them. Has anybody seen Marcelo? No, and they are looking for him as well. In that case, Facundo invites Ana Lu to get in, as they need to talk. We really hoped here that she has more sense than Remedios, but alas were disappointed and she got in the car. Facundo promises not to hurt her. (Where have we heard that before?)

Our sweet innocent Ana Le is courting Creesidro. Her latest demand is that he buys her a house, so that her “mother” would be convinced that he is serious about “Ana Lu”, and so they can meet each other in private. Creesidro is surprised that “Ana Lu” would ask for something like that, and so openly, but gleefully skips away to the bank to get the money together.  In the evening he shows up for a night-time showing of the house, and having shown the money, would like to get some sugar in…eh…advance. This is something Ana Le was not banking on and, by the looks of it, she is certainly not into grandfathers. As she is rebuffing his advances, she screams that she is not Ana Lucia. It is Isidro’s turn to be surprised – not Ana Lucia? He ponders it for a bit, then probably decides – what the heck, I can role play as well, and tries to rough her up. Trusty Inaki was standing by in the vicinity and promptly comes to Ana Le’s rescue. He slams Isidro’s head, with the one thought in it, on the table many many times, at the end of which we are left with a cold Deadsidro and shocked Ana Le and Inaki. (Elsewhere, mirroring Ana Le’s shock, Llora – surprise, surprise – cries. Ram hugs her, and looks like that’s as far as he’s getting that night.)

Curvas, in the meantime, brought Santi to the dark forest to meet Ev. Ev chose this place, because he often met Ana Le here. Ev is there to unburden himself, before his disease takes all his memories. He hands a gun he brought with him to Santi, and says that after he tells him everything, Santi will have to kill Ev. Santi doesn’t think himself capable of murder. Ev tells him to wait, Marcelo is there and he will come out. And since Ev knows everything, we wait as well.

Ev reminisces about dead grandchildren and Gina, who he loved most of all. He only has Sole left now, who fortunately doesn’t have his cursed blood running through her veins. Marcelo and Ev used to be good friends until Marcelo went after Sole. Sole is like a daughter to Ev, so he won’t allow any harm to be done to her.
Ev is telling Santicelo all of this, because he can no longer protect Ana Lu, and her life is in danger. It was Ana Le who ordered Marcelo’s murder and she also doesn’t want  Ana Lu found, and will stop at nothing. Santi needs to dig deep and remember, because Ev will forget. Remember! Remember! And with that direction, Santi indeed remembers Marcelo talking to Ana Le about the murder attempt in the restaurant, and Ev’s own confession before he hit Marcelo over the head after the accident. (If we only knew this was all it took, we would have been screaming “Remember!” louder from our couches all this time.)

Santi now remembers  - it really was Ana Le, but also Evaristo! He points a gun at Ev, and Ev wants him to show that is one with Marcelo and shoot him. Marcelo doesn’t make them wait long and makes an appearance with his bloody nose and zombie eyes. Ev is happy to see him and the gun pointed squarely at his chest.

Tomorrow: Finally, the meeting of the sisters – Ana Lu and Ana Le!

Wow, what an episode finally - Creesidro dead, Sole in jail and Anas are about to meet.

Also - in between commercials I saw today that starting Oct 25th we have Vino el Amor coming to our screens in prime time. Probably replacing Ana?

Wow, Ria. What fast and great work! You hit all the right notes on this one. Thank you!

You are so right about Remedios. No filters. I did feel sorry for her as she seemed too weak to be conducting this intense discussion with Ana Lu.

There is no fool like an old fool, only in this case, it was the young fool, Inaki, who was completely blinded by his attraction to the devil.

Is it possible that Facundo (who always looks orange - something with the make-up) will team up to get Santiago to the operating room?

Mariano is really redeeming himself as he tries to plow through the complications of his nieces' situation.

Soledad in jail with the lovely, poorly treated Valeria. That should be interesting.

And the horrible Valentin moving into the pension. Ugh.

Thanks Ria for your recap. Yes, always ask for your realtor's credentials, LOL! I wonder what they are going to do with "Deadsidro's" body? How are they going to cover this one up? Certainly someone (i.e. Rodrigo) is going to wonder where he went.

Hey as long as Evilristo is into confessing his sins, why doesn't he just go and admit that he told Ratmundo to funnel the foundation's money to the Cayman Islands somewhere and frame Valeria for the crime? Poor Valeria, she certainly doesn't deserve to be the fall girl in this situation. Before you DIE, EVILRISTO, DIE, confess your part of this crime in stealing the foundation's money and show how Ratmundo is your accomplice in crime.

Gracias, Ria.

Wow. I didn't expect Isidro to buy the farm just yet but it's just as well. Ana MeMeME is now in over her head and so is Inaki. How are they going to get out of this one, especially if she is going to be face to face with Ana Lucia?

At least Facundo knows about the tumor and can do something if he can find SantMarc. It's a relief to see Mariano doing and saying the right things here and he's still in for a nasty revelation.

I was wondering all along why that basement still had all those toys and dolls. Ernestina should have gotten rid of all that stuff ages ago. Keeping that much stuff from childhood is odd even with all the storage space that the mansion must have. Why didn't it go to the children's foundation ages ago?

Ratmundo is even colder-blooded than Evaristo. Ramiro had better watch his back.

Thank you, Ria! My favorite line was: "If we only knew this is all it took, we would have been screaming 'Remember!' louder from our couches all this time." So true and so funny!

If Soledad closed her eyes shut and squeezed them really really hard, would have the police officer still had seen her? She reminded me of a little kid trying to hide in full sight. There was no back door? Good for a laugh.

Iñaki sure seemed to enjoy pounding Isidro's head in on the table and was so efficient doing it!! He and Ana Leticia would be the perfect couple. They should both split town together as fugitives on the lam.

Ana Laura crying one more time was plain annoying and stupid as was Ana Lucía getting in a car with Facundo.

Of course, Valeria and Soledad would end up in the same jail cell together. Only one jail cell for newly processed female inmates in the whole city?

My favorite sequence was, of course, the scenes with Evaristo and Santiago/Marcelo. Looks like Evaristo has chosen "suicide by Marcelo" so to speak. I wish Marcelo would kill him but then we would have proof that Santiago/Marcelo is a killer within the body if the novela itself which would not bode well for a happy snappy ending with the new and improved Santiago/Marcelo with his own true love Ana Lucía.

And on we go!

Ria, yes, it looks like "Vino el amor" will be replacing Ana.

Whoa ! Didn't know my day would have such an early de-lite-full start. Thanks Ria. We finally got a little more action than our Unhero Rambo is getting. Ramiro I have told you before, Carney...Carney. You won't be sorry.

OK Inaki can go ahead and die now. Shooting someone is one thing, but crushing a horny old fool’s skull gets you an uncomfortably WARM visit with Lucifer. That looked to even freak out AnaBarf. That was savage, I mean really sick. This is the same man who killed his own Brother, so go figure.

And writers…lazy ass, how transparent is it to have Mr Tumor surface with his neighbor Mr. NoseBleed at the exact moment he needs to. Come on, read our comments. Can not really speak for myself, but this is an extraordinarily bright bunch. There is not a one here who still believes in the too….um….tumor fairy.

You can tell Viri is single again. Puppies jammed up under her chin and hemline up about three inches. Yow..TOA like.

Hey SoeBad Sorpresa , Soprresa, Sorpresa! Te Veo Senora. Come with us please.

Why can I not get on board with killing Evaristo? Gramps only has a few days as it is, what’s wrong with a little schedule creep, right? With maggots in his brain he would be better off dead, right? Kill him Santi, right? Nooooo…what is wrong with me? Santi just shoot me instead. Problem solved.

I think Isidrio was as close to some nookie as Ram is.

Poor wittle Walwentime. Spent the went money on Captain Morgan and Dos Equis and then went to sucker in Nerina. Stay thirsty my friend.

Ole blue eyes holier than thou? Look, just because he has had a lot of girlfriends doesn't mean he is bad. Us Guys just consider it community service. So there.

Inookie is like a moth to an open flame with AnaLetMescrambleyouryolks. Those little moths usually wind up flying right into the flame....Ouch. Bye Bye,,,,,,,,

The briefcase full of dinero is there, so the next logical thing would be for Ana MeMeME and Inaki to go on the run. They could get into an argument over the money, one would kill the other, then get caught. Two families will be shocked and then grieve.

What a delight Ria. I always smile when I see your name - I know something wonderful is coming. So much action and you captured the events to perfection.

"He really is the vehicle of the destiny (and we should petition to rename the novella to “One man, one path, one destiny….oh, and the separated triplets”) and " Ah, just go ahead and pet the snake then" were my favorites of many.

“Val is innocent she says, and Sole responds that she can’t say that for herself”. An actual admission of culpability? Hmmm. I sense a whiff of redemption for Soledad from the writers. I.Do.Not.Agree. Sigh.

My unabashed fascination with Inaki is starting to fade. What a brutal, primal attack on “Deadsidro”. Was he actually jealous of that cringe worthy man? It now seems clear he is unable to contain the rage and hatred that smouldering in his heart (thanks Julieta). Mati, "two fools" indeed!

I also thought Ana Let looked horrified over the murder which puzzled me as she has done the same on more than one occasion. That really threw me for a loop.

Jarifa, I'm not in favor of "suicide by Marcelo" (good one!) either. I may be wrong but I think a bit of Santi's kindess has trickled down into Marcelo's heart. I'm not convinced (yet) he is a total stone cold savage killer, but I usually look for the best in everyone.

I never saw the possibility of Val and Soledad being roommates in prison. But perhaps something good might come of it.

I could hardly stand to watch Tin lie so straightfaced to his mother. She was glowing wasn't she? Thinking there is a chance to repair their relationship when all he wants to do is use her.

My heart goes out to Ana Lu. Maribel is not her friend so at this point in time, Ana Lu is totally alone...

Oh, and "Vino el amor"? Soto? Klitbo? I'm in!!!

Ria, thank you for the splendid recap.

Diana

Good episode, and fantastic recap. Thanks, Ria!

Well, that evening didn't end the way Isidro wanted. Guess AnaLet is going to have to come up with another plan for killing AnaLu. There's no way they could frame AnaLu for this, is there? Was Isidro going around bragging that he was going to meet up with his child bride, AnaLu?

What AnaLu said this episode about being ashamed to meet her sisters because she was SantMarc's lover, is exactly what I meant the other day when I said this SantMarc complication had turned the sweet part of a bitter-sweet situation (meeting sisters she never knew she had), into something sour for AnaLu. She feels ashamed to face them.

Vivi - You are so right about AnaLu's likely sad reunion. She is a very humble and kind person and of course will take the situation hard and with compassion for others. AnaLau is much the same and their "destiny" will be to pick up the pieces of what is left after AnaLe really goes nuts. They will be surrounded by the three older half-sisters, still trying to work out their issues, and presumably the devotion of Ramiro and Santiago. But it's still not the reunion that either AnaLu or AnaLau would dream of. I do think that AnaLau will be repelled by all that AnaLe has done and will do shortly, but will not be surprised. She knows better than anyone how unbalanced AnaLe is and has begged her to get help.

I left out a word last night: it should be Faculdo and AnaLucia teaming up to rescue Santiago and force him to have the surgery. An unlikely duo but the path to Facundo's redemption as well as Santiago's survival. (My guess is that Facundo comes around; Edmundo is lost and maybe not Ramiro's father???? could that be?)

I thought it was interesting that Isidro kept his money in the safety deposit box instead of the bank. Convenient to the story and an indication of his rural roots, but not evidence of good business sense.

I so hated to see Inaki go down. Even into the restaurant scene when he left in disgust, I had hope. But as Jarifa said, he sure got into the violence of Isidro's end. I agree, Diana -- rage built up from many years of sorrow and rejection by his mother.

She can't frame Ana Lucia for this. Ana Lucia is in Facundo's car and (presumably) far enough away that for her to have been at that house would not be realistic. Isidro had mentioned Ana Lucia's name once to Rodrigo, but the coin didn't drop. Maybe he said "Ana Lucia Hernandez", which would not have provoked Rodrigo to wonder about whether this was Ernestina's missing nieta.

As for Inaki, I don't think it was jealousy so much as disgust. Here is a dirty old man with lots of dinero trying to rape a young (albeit nasty) woman Inaki was involved with. Isidro wouldn't take "no" for an answer and got grabby with a potential for violence. Inaki reacted without thinking of the consequences. He has killed before and is not a suspect, but this is very different. He didn't plan it, there was no plausible alternative explanation, and he will have no alibi.

Ana Lucia has nothing to be ashamed of. The situation is as awkward as all hell, but not her fault nor is it SantMarc's fault. That Ana MeMeME snowed Remedios is the one bad thing here; Remedios should have listened to Ramiro.

SantMarc has to be saved not only from killing Evaristo but from his own misguided intentions. Now that Ana Lucia and Facundo know about the deadly brain tumor we can hope that the writers have them find him fast. I don't think Marcelo was ever a stone-cold killer and there needs to be time for Evaristo to confess that he put that idea into Santiago's head.

Oh Inaki you poor, dumb, messed up, horny son of a b..gun. After last night you are mentally picking out cakes and AnaLetyoukillhim is picking out caskets. Hot Nuts, do you remember the AnaPlan, look about halfway down in section B, para 1.2.6 "Horny Geriatric Kills Wrong Sister"

You just whacked my Exhibit A. I don't think I luuurrrve you any more.

toa

Not to take anything away from how serious a crime rape really is, but in AnaLet's case with Isidrio would it have been rape or petty larceny? It smacked of a Craigslist transaction gone wrong. Isid, ole boy, always use PayPal. Isid...Isid?

t

I wonder if Inaki and Ana MeMe will cook up a scheme to say it was self-defense? They could make up the story that Deadsidro wanted to be shown this house and Ana MeMe met him over there with Inaki coming in later to save the day from Ana MeMe being raped by Deadsidro. That could work if they call the police and return the money. But me no think that returning the money would ever happen. They could just leave the body there and wipe off all their fingerprints from the place. But if there is a murder investigation (does that really happen in Mexico?) and if Inaki and Ana MeMe were under suspicion, their cell phones would be pinging nearby towers to put them in the area of the crime scene. (Can you tell I watch a lot of true crime stories on ID, LOL)

Oh, yes; I can tell!

No way will they return the money and yes, there will be an investigation. Isidro was wealthy and could have had a business appointment the next day that he will not show up for. That would raise suspicion. Some bank employee will remember him being there earlier the day of his demise although I don't know whether he would know what was in the safe deposit box. It is illegal to keep cash in one here in the US, but I don't know what Mexican law has to say about it.

They will probably remove and dump the body and try to clean up the crime scene. A lot of marble surfaces so it will look superficially easy. However, the trunk of Ana MeMeME's car might show evidence of blood. Criminals might be clever but it's seriously difficult to commit the perfect crime.

Exactly UA! Their best bet is to leave the body and call the police themselves. They would have to make up the story that Ana Le was alone with Deadsidro and he started coming on to her trying to force himself on her. Then that's when Inaki walks in and grabs Deadsidro off of her and slams him against the counter. Only he slammed too hard and didn't mean to kill him. He just wanted to keep him from raping Ana MeMe, that's all. He was saving the day, that's all. However that money will be too tempting because if they do that, they will have to turn the money over and Ana MeMe will have to explain he was wanting to pay cash for the house.

Thanks Ria! I haven't seen this episode yet.

Too many excuses are being given for Inaki's actions. He is a murderer, twice over now. His mommy leaving him didn't turn him into one. He is a grown man responsible for his actions. He grew up with a loving father that he treats like dirt. He is selfish and greedy.

OMG why was AnaLlora crying again? Girl doesn't know how to be happy.

Glad to read that Ev is lip loosing some of his secrets. Hope he gets more out before he dies.

Sole in prison? Awesome awesome. Hope she stays there a while but doubt it.

Wow wow wow Ria! Great recap, thank you.

So Inaki is toast and I am sad. So I'm thinking the only way this character gets an ability to go up a few notches before his ultimate anvil is if he exposes AnaLoon. She is NOT going to take any fall for this and she has his Danial tape so it's sticky, but no we have San/Mar memory return ( and why do people not pull out their cell phones and hit record when people are confessing????) They have those darn things every other time. anyway, I digress...I just want to see Inaki's demise have a positive to it...maybe it will get Ghouletta also kicked to the curb and have her loose everything.

Again, not one shred of pity for Soledad last night, but the show sure played it that way. It's all letting AnaLu rant and indicate with others "oh, she'll calm done and forgive her." Something about that irks the daylights out of me.

Why in the h*** AnaLu got in that car with Facundo is beyond me. But at least we saw the previews where she's in one piece and meeting her nightmare....I mean sister.

I think Ana Laura was crying because she felt the distress of Ana LETICIA when Inaki bashed in Isidro's head after the rape attempt. It's been established before that both Ana Laura and Ana Lucia feel when their sisters are in pain.

Ana Laura wasn't crying just to be crying; she was crying because she felt Ana Leticia's anguish witnessing Isidro's head get bashed in.

Inaki's punishment should be a life sentence, with no one except Tadeo to visit him.

Anon207, now that you mention Tadeo, I hope Inaki dies in a way that Tadeo never finds out his son is a murderer. The man doesn't deserve that kind of grief.

Thanks for the recap! I'm glad to see the story picking up the pace in these last episodes.

Didn't Iñaki warn AnaLet that Isidro would want *something* in return? While I got a kick out of the duo trying scam Isidro, they've both done other horrible deeds that need a good comeuppance ASAP.

I wonder if Marcelo will really end up killing Evaristo. Obviously Ev was provoking Santiago to let Marcelo take over.

What a coincidence that Soledad and Valeria are cellmates. I wonder who if anyone will come to Sole's rescue.

I'm excited to see what happens when AnaLet and AnaLu come face to face.

Ria, thanks. Great recap. My faves: Ah, just go ahead and pet the snake then.

It is Isidro’s turn to be surprised – not Ana Lucia? He ponders it for a bit, then probably decides – what the heck, I can role play as well

After murdering Jenny, putting a hit on her husband, and plotting AnaLu's murder, AnaLe seemed to have a heart of stone. But she was truly horrified when Iñaki bashed in Isidro, cause that eery triplet bond caused AnaLaura's sudden crying and AnaLu's sudden fear. Hokey, but I've heard of such connections between twins.

I'm betting Iñaki will definitely take the money and AnaLe will try to figure out how to pin this on AnaLu. Thank goodness Lu has alibis, Maribel and Facundo.

T - yes, in AnaLe's case it would have been rape. I know you've got joking in mind, but in D.C. there was a case where Craiglist prostitutes were getting raped but not pressing charges because of stigma against their profession. Finally one brave woman pressed charges and the rest came forward. Horrible.

There's a big difference in ordering the murder of someone, or pushing someone off a roof, than watching someone physically kill another person. AnaLet hasn't experienced that before. Glad to hear she had a normal reaction as opposed to being turned on by it.

No, Carvivlie, he doesn't, but to quote Jim Morrison No one here gets out alive.

In this case no one will be unscathed at the end of this tale. Tadeo will have to face this. When Ana MeMeME is exposed people will know that Inaki knew what she was, especially now that SantMarc knows. Ramiro has known of her true nature for at least the last 4-5 years.

I think that Ana MeMeME's reaction was also about how her plans have just blown up in her face.

UA, you had so much insight when you said, “I think that Ana MeMeME's reaction was also about how her plans have just blown up in her face.” I was thinking the same thing too, that she was more concerned that her plan wasn’t going to work out the way she thought it would.

Thanks Ria for the quick recap.

Well I really don't see how the triplets and the family have a collective happy ending in this TN.

I hope there are 2 endings: one with Santi/Marcelo dead and the other Santi/Marcelo transformed once the tumor is removed. Will Inaki and Ana Leticia both die? Prison is too humane for these two.

Thanks, Ria! Holy guacamole indeed. Inaki really surprised me. Sadly, I must leave his table. His pillar-of-society mother is really going to be humiliated when her new favorite son is exposed as a two-time murderer.

Was I seeing double (very possible), or were the cops who picked up Valeria the same cops who picked up Soledad? Are they the only cops in Mexico?

I'm still mystified as to Maribel's purpose in this story. If she's only there to assure us that AnaLu had friends, she's not very reassuring. If she's there for any other reason, time is running out for her to be useful.

D'oh AnaLu got in the car. People need to learn how to say no.

I liked how Ana Laura got overwhelmed as AnaLet was watching Isidro get killed, and AnaLu was in the car with Facundo. It would have been strange if the three of them hadn't been sharing their connection at that moment.

"If we only knew this was all it took, we would have been screaming “Remember!” louder from our couches all this time." No kidding! I wish there could have been something more specific to spur his memory - a sight, a song, a smell. (Doesn't have to begin with the letter S.) But, whatever. At least he remembered. I don't think Marcelo will kill Ev, and hopefully a few more revelations will be revealed. (Like, whose body did they bury in Marcelo's place? That had a love rune tattoo on it? Wouldn't that person have to get the tattoo ahead of time? Or did Ev just whack some random guy and draw the rune on with a pen??)

Death would be too easy for either.

Ana MeMeME is already a psych mess. Prison would make that worse. Inaki is greedy, lustful, and self-indulgent; none of that works in the slammer.

I hate the multiple-endings trend. It smacks of indecision and non-commitment to a proper outcome of the story. SantMarc does not deserve to die.

Has this begun in Mexico yet? I'm dying to know how the audience sees this.

Remember in Antes Muerta Que Lichita how Chuchette would come in with some great shoes she found at a great price at Payless, and show them to the two worthless receptionists right there in the show? Or during a commercial break it would be Chechette in a spot for I think Payless again? Well that is what I thought Maribel was in our show for. I have kept waiting for her to look straight into the camera and tell us about the "Skinny Chick waist belt" thing that is all over the Spanish channels right now. The one that resembles a large Velcro hose clamp to cinch around your waist.

Wow, you're right, toa - I haven't noticed any product placements. Even most or all of the cars have their logos obscured.

There were no product placements in Yago or Hotel either, so I'm beginning to forget how annoyed I was when I watched TNs that did have product placements. Or even more the ones that were all about Avon Avon Avon.

PEAM was so bad I'm sure it was really just one long product placement with some plot thrown in.

PEAM was so bad, it made Avon look bad.

La Costena had a lot of exposure in novelas, too. MCET, for one (That one started this week on UniMas if anyone is interested).

Yeah, so come on Mari. You always have those admirable abs on display for some reason. Shoot, maybe you are just proud of them. Should be. What do I know, I'm just a spectator.

AnaLetHimDoIt sure was goofyed up about something. I was thinking she would be thinking, "OK good that dumbass will do ANY THING for me as long as the Meow is good." That was not the look on her face though. I hope she was scared, as possessive as he has been, and with all this crazy marriage stuff. She had better get Plan B, (and C and D) rolled out, A has a major GANTT chart snafu.

She looked genuinely scared, almost as if she thought he would go for her next. She is used to being the baddest person in the room, but beating someone's head against a granite counter is way badder than pushing someone off a building. I doubt that she's even seen that level of violence before.

Say - could that be the key to winning AnaLet's love/respect?

Well Julie, if that one performance worked for her, maybe she will be his (Inaki) forever. OTOH, she may need to see it on a schedule of sorts to keep her interest.
That could be a problem as they begin to run out of Geezers. And it appears Ciudad de Mexico D.F. only has two cops. :-)

Why would the Ciudad de Mexico need more than two cops? The place is only like three miles across and has only one drugstore, one gas station, etc. Sheriff Andy Taylor and Deputy Barney Fife are all they need.

And only one Private Investigator, but position will soon be available.

I wonder how these two think they will get away with this one. Jennifer the little wispy thing could have been too close to the edge and a puff of wind just blew the little thing right out. Handy. Ole Danny was already in the hospital fighting for his life, and the poor guy just lost the fight. Waaaa.

This one is not exactly so convenient. Even if the old fella fell and hit his head on the granite, it is not going to look like a leftover Halloween pumpkin thrown off an overpass. These two may have some 'splainin to do. In actuality in about an hour and a half. Woo Hoo

Great Job, Ria! I slept about halfway in, and decided to read the recap anyway (usually I'm more patient than that), but I'm SHOCKED. I missed so much good stuff! Glad you kept it short, but full of jam-packed action!

I can't believe my Inaki did this! It wasn't pre-emptive and I guess we can still call it self-defense....but according to you guys, it was pretty gruesome. So I'm still not sure how I feel. I still love me a bad guy/girl, so I might still keep my seat at the table until I watch it tonight.

About the money, Isidropdead didn't keep it in a bank. It was cash from a safety deposit box, so there are NO transactions or evidence that it even existed. Hence, no need for them to turn any money in. Then again, they don't know where he pulled it from (or do they? Ugh I gotta watch it). Anyhow, they can easily call the cops, plead self-defense, & still keep the $$. Although, knowing AnaLet, they'll flee the crime scene.

Erne is a moron. Why would you get rid of years of memories. At the very least, put it in storage and hide the key/location. Why does this woman have to be so dramatic sometimes?

I hope Ev survives, I like him. I plan to cut the tv as soon as I see Santi's nose bleed. I'm sick of Marcelo's gun-pointing killer face. Rulli needs to stop watching gangsta films, and try classics like The Untouchables or Godfather for inspo.

Can't wait to see the "happy" reunion, tonight should be a good one! :D

Can't wait to see how AnaLet acts with AnaLu with Tio watching. And how long it will take AnaLu to figure her out. Hopefully faster than AnaLlora.

Just finished watching. Maybe it was the expectation of it being more gruesome than it was, or just the fact I saw it coming, but I didn't see the killing as being more than self-defense. He's still a killer, but it's a result of another crime of passion. At least this time, it was to protect someone else. This murder is less condemning of him as a killer than his last. He never killed anyone who was innocent (como AnaLet) or who didn't have it coming. I'm keeping my seat, and propping my legs up. I still love my bad boy, flaws and all. Call me when he becomes a true killer w/o remorse.

Thanks all for the comments and apologies for coming by late today - it was one of those days! Another great episode tonight.
