Vino el Amor #27 Wednesday 12/7/16: Juan Manipulates and Blackmails

Juan and Perla come up with a plan because Perla is willing to do anything to help him. She says he can really count on her.

The plan seems to be for Perla to go to David and for her to admit that she was the one who ordered the illegal pesticides. She tearfully tells David it was all her fault. David says that Juan still bears the final responsibility. Then he asks Perla how it was that she came up with that supplier to order the pesticide. She draws a blank and the crickets start chirping. David figures out she is trying to cover for Juan and then asks why. She admits that it’s because she loves Juan. But David’s decision is made. Juan is still fired but Perla still has her job. She leaves in tears.

Perla comes back to Juan’s office with the bad news that David told her, that it was still Juan’s responsibility. He goes nuts and has a meltdown. Perla admits to Juan that she told David that she is in love with Juan. He continues with his abusive behavior and meltdown. He accuses her of never being able to do anything right.

Still at the hospital, Gracie wants to know why Mommy Dearest Lilian hates Marta so much. Lilian says it’s because her husband (Gracie’s dad) had something going with Marta. Gracie starts laughing…”Well, look at my Daddy. Well I know you mistreated him and all…but he went after your friend Marta!” She continues laughing at Lillian. Then Lillian says she can’t take more of this and walks off as Gracie continues to laugh wickedly.

Sonia brings Bobby his sandwich snack with the crusts cut off just like he likes them and the way Marta does it for him. She asks if there is anything else she can do for him and he says, “Well there is one thing, you can help me with my science project”, which just happens to be a volcano. She helps him with it, pours in the mixtures, and it all explodes foamy stuff in her face. Bobby starts laughing and Sonia looks like she had a cream pie thrown at her.

Susan and Tano are in the young men’s dorm room in a bunk bed cuddling. (I don’t know about everyone else, but this seems so much like being in a college dorm where 18 year olds do this. Susan should be way beyond this and downright embarrassed, but she is not!) Ramon comes in and they barely notice him when he sits on the bed. Then they finally sheepishly acknowledge his presence. He tells Susan that he is very happy about the affection she gives his son and is glad he found a good woman.

Miguel comes to David’s office to discuss a few vineyard details about the workers and replacements. For the meantime, David plans to replace Susan with Luciana. Miguel says he also wants to stay and work with Luciana. He says he knows David wants her at his side, but so does Miguel.

Luciana walks into David’s house (without knocking of course) and David is glad to see her. He asks about her mother in the hospital and she explains how she wants to do the right thing by helping out. He explains to her how complicated things are because of his kids, but he can’t stop thinking about her and the time they kissed.  However she still can’t forgive him for that earrings debacle. He tells her that he’s begged her forgiveness already. David claims it was out of control and then last night he saw her with Miguel…then Luciana says, “Don’t tell me about that! You were with Graciela!” Luci says, “see ya!”

Gracie is on a “date” with Cesar and she’s picking his brain how to help David with his sadness. Cesar says that David is much better now. But she persists asking him about what kinds of things David talks about regarding Lisa. He mentions a few things and her perfume. After she gets the info she wants, she feigns being tired and looks very bored. Cesar says, “Check please!”

Sonia comes out looking like a mess when David stops to speak with her. She calls him “Mi Senor” which to me translates into “My Lord” and sounds really funny. He reprimands her for coddling Fernanda when she is being punished and she explains she did it out of true love because she loves them like her own. She says, “I’m sorry my Lord”. David makes a face and says, “Why do you call me that? Don’t call me that!” (As he walks away, she mumbles to herself, “That’s who you are to me, ‘My Lord’”

Miguel presents the heavy workload to Luciana and they discuss the plan.

Marta comes home from the hospital and is greeted by Ramon and Leon.

Watched by Sonia, Gracie “sneaks” into Lisa’s bedroom and goes through drawers. Finally she spots the perfume spray bottle and sprays some on her herself. She quietly leaves, again with Sonia watching. While in the kitchen with Lillian, Sonia promptly informs her in her “tell all” way. Lillian says that Gracie has no business in there.

Luciana and David are walking through the aisles of where the wine barrels are kept talking “business”. Then he changes the subject and says he’s missed her. But Luciana says they need to keep things as business and nothing more. She says everyone needs to go to their proper destiny…and in walks Miguel looking intently at Luciana as David looks on tenaciously. Miguel has something he wants Luciana to help with. There is some tenseness in the air between Miguel and David.

Juan is in his office and he’s speaking to Susan’s soon to be ex-husband, Mark. He tells Mark that the subpoena just arrived and he will give it to Susan. He comes and brings that subpoena to Susan at the employees’ house. Juan and Mark are friends and he implies that Mark might want to know about Susan’s little goings on with Tano. Susan is expected to be in court next day over the property settlement with the house. Susan is very upset because of how her ex treats her and has threatened to leave her with nothing. She tries to call her lawyer and gets no answer. Juan goes back to his former office and starts texting someone….probably Susan’s ex husband Mark.

David is outdoors with some paper work and Gracie offers to help with the vineyard. David says he just got rid of Juan and now David is really taking hold the reins of the vineyard. He shares that it was Juan’s fault that all the workers got sick. Gracie gives David a close hug and he notices the perfume. Lillian angrily walks up and demands to know why Gracie was in Lisa’s bedroom! (In the background, Luciana is watching EVERYTHING).  So Gracie starts apologizing for going into the bedroom and tells David this dumb story about how much she misses Lisa and she wanted to have use Lisa’s perfume to feel Lisa with her. (She swears that’s the truth!) Lillian is standing their listing looking at Gracie with a look in her eyes that says, “What a crock of $h*t”.  After David is out of earshot, Gracie says, “If you want to keep living in this house like a queen, you’d better be on my side! Either you are with me, or against me.” Saved by the bell, they both get a text from someone at the same time.

Luciana walks off and finds Miguel in the vineyard. She’s upset because of what she just witnessed with Gracie and David. Miguel tells her, “But none of that should affect you at all. All that stuff is the Patron’s business, like it or not.”

Both Gracie and Lillian go to Juan’s former office after getting the text from him. Gracie says, “I just heard you were FIRED!” Lillian says, “So when are you leaving?” Juan says, “I’m not going, in fact you both are going to help me get my job back.” Gracie says, “Us? No!” Lillian says, “You’re the stupid one who bought the bad pesticide and brought all the problems on yourself.” Juan says, “you gals owe me a favor, so you are going to help.” Yep, Juan has the goods on Lillian and knows that she had Gutierrez deport Marcos and Luciana. Gracie starts laughing, but Juan tells her, “I don’t know why you are laughing so much. You’re in even worse trouble because of what I already know about you. What do you think David will do if he finds out the truth about what you did to Lisa?” Lillian looks at Gracie and says, “What is he talking about?” Juan says that Gracie told him that when she came that day for Bobby’s birthday party, her plans were to take David away from Lisa any way she could so she could have David for herself.  Juan says, “Well I don’t have any proof, but what have I got to lose?”

Perla and Carito and chatting walking around the porch at the employees’ house. Perla is telling Carito that she is with Juan and feels badly that Juan is fired. Carito says that now all their plans can’t come true now that he won’t be working. Carito asks her if she is with Juan for love or because of “interest”. Perla says she does love him, but Juan is going to take her away from all this.

Cesar is examining Susan and she’s telling him about her problems with Mark and the house. Cesar says that she is welcome to stay at his house if she needs a place to stay. Susan thanks him, says that won’t be necessary. She gets up too fast and she starts to fall and Cesar catches her in his arms just as Tano walks in. Tano looks jealous. Cesar says Susan needs more rest. After Cesar leaves, Tano starts going on and on about him not having anything and of course the doctor has a nice home. Susan doesn’t want to fight, she’s not feeling very well. Of course Tano is feeling quite like he just doesn’t measure up. (Well of course he doesn’t, he’s still a kid.)

David is questioning Sonia about Gracie entering Lisa’s bedroom. David tells her that when she cleans to lock that door with a key.  She admits to seeing Gracie enter, and says, “But who am I to say anything to her?”  David tells her, “Just say that I gave the order.” Sonia answers, “Yes, my Lord”. (Si mi Senor). Next Gracie enters and asks forgiveness and says it will never happen again. Gracie tells him she needs to talk to him about Juan, but David refuses and says he has nothing more to say about Juan. David says, “Hey Gracie, you said you wanted to do something to help out. Well now is the time. Come with me so you can learn something about this business.”

Miguel and Luciana walk into Susan’s office and he can’t take his eyes off of her and says she looks beautiful. He says, “But where is the Patron?” Luciana says, “Last time I saw him, he was in the house with his little sister in law.” At that moment, David and Gracie walk in. David says he wants her to train Gracie in how all this stuff works. (Are you kidding me? I doubt Gracie ever took a chemistry class.) Luciana exclaims, “We have too much work around here and can’t stop for someone who wants to play tourist!” David says, “What do you have a problem with this?” Luciana: “No, you are the boss and what you say goes.” Gracie says, “Relax Luci, I’m very excited about learning the business”. Gracie is touching around with the equipment and the beakers. It ends with Gracie saying to Luciana, “So did you do this work on the other side of the border, or do you just like doing this because these are David’s grounds?”

Hi, Cynthia! thank you! Still reading the recap along with watching the recording. I'm struck by the stupidity of Juans "plan". Perla folded like a house of cards!

The next scene I'm like - WTF! Susan and Tano in bed, Leon is looking on, Carito comes in the room and then his Dad who takes a ring-side seat before loudly clearing his throat! Que the hell! Okay, I know there clothes are on and that makes it not as kinky as it could be but it's, I don't know, stooopid! Gosh. What have they done to Susan?

Okay, back to the show!

Appreciate you doing this Cynthia.

"downright embarrassed, but she is not!"

Help me, are there teenage writers trying to write adult parts or adult writers trying to remember what it was like as a teen? Or, does an adult write one line and a teen the next and alternate?

Sonia stole the show again.

Is Juan sleeping in his former office? Haven't seen him leave.

David needs some self respect and stop acting like a 14 year old fighting over a girl.

How does Miguel, with thinly veiled menacing threats toward David, keeps his job?

So, we are down to one functioning adult in this thing. How long before Cesar's regression?

Cynthia, this was marvelous. I so admire the insightful, crisp and clear words with which you capture noteworthy events.

"Of course Tano is feeling quite like he just doesn’t measure up. (Well of course he doesn’t, he’s still a kid)" and "(Are you kidding me? I doubt Gracie ever took a chemistry class)" were among many favorites.

“(I don’t know about everyone else, but this seems so much like being in a college dorm where 18 year olds do this. Susan should be way beyond this and downright embarrassed, but she is not!)”. I must tell you – this scene was totally cringe worthy. Ack.

Lila, they have ruined Susan's character. Totally. tofie noticed it as soon as this started occurring and I am sadly nodding my head in agreement.

Thank you so much for translating this pivotal information: “Juan says that Gracie told him that when she came that day for Bobby’s birthday party, her plans were to take David away from Lisa any way she could so she could have David for herself”. Am I correct in that Lili did not fathom exactly what this meant? Cruel and disdainful, I still think she would react if she realized Graciela murdered Lisa. Am I wrong??

David and Luci really need to start a little romance brewing. Not sure how much longer we can be subjected to the inappropriate, mismatched Susan and Tano (I'm starting to think SHE is too childishly immature for him) and the abusive Juan and Perla.

tofie, you are so right in that "Sonia stole the show again". Veronica is sensational and one of the few (current) joys in watching at this point.

Cynthia, thank you!

Diana

Done! Thank you, Cynthia! Anybody else feeling frustrated:

David and Luci really need to start a little romance brewing. Not sure how much longer we can be subjected to the inappropriate, mismatched Susan and Tano Diana, this is part of my frustration and this. . .

How does Miguel, with thinly veiled menacing threats toward David, keeps his job? ITA, Tofie! You've mentioned his flexing and posturing before.

Now we're going to get more catty sniping between Luci and Gracie to add to that between Gracie and Lilli and Lilli and Marta. . . No romance, no action, just a bunch of people barely working and a bunch of nasty feline caterwauling! AAAARRRRGGGGH

Just two days ago I was bragging on this show (absent Susan & Tano) but it's devolved into stupid.

I don't understand an adult man literally begging a young woman to like him while another of his employees, who has worked no where else, gets in his face puffed up like a peacock, to warn him off the girl. Are they gonna fist fight and winner gets the girl?

I think its stupid the only time Luciana seems to like David is when she sees him with Graciela and will punish him for days.

Such a big deal was made about employee fraternization and Miguel being in the girls room but Tano and Susan pile up on the couch, in his bed, make out on the stairs and no one says a word. Susan's husband can point to her affair with a boy as cause for divorce.

In retrospect, Fernanda drunkenly trying to creep in Tano's window, the most age appropriate stunt. Perhaps it was initially written for David but adults were in charge that day.

Thank You Thank You Cynthia, for making 'The Hardy Boys meet Nancy Drew' even interesting and fun.

Susie and Tanie...zzzzz hey Susie was not exactly a Mensa candidate as NanciGaga in Lo Imperblababla either. Maybe she likes these umm.well parts.

I know Gracie is going to burn in Hell, but at least there will be one hot chick there that I know. As much as I hate her, I am beginning to like her (Luci syndrome)

So ONE has been pre-fired, fired and booster-fired and he is still there meeting with the coven. Seventeen Luci has quit seventeen times and still almost causing little cock fights. I'd build a quick paper trail and fire his (Miggy) ass. I'm hearing the Eagles:

Mirrors on the ceiling, the pink champagne on ice
And she said, "We are all just prisoners here of our own device"
And in the master's chambers they gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives but they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
"Relax," said the night man, "We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like but you can never leave"

You can be fired, you can quit, you can spit in the boss's face, but next episode, there you are. AAaarrrrggghhh

I wonder how ONE and Lillian became partners in crime to begin with. It has apparently been going on for a long time, with ONE embezzling money and sharing it with Lil.

Oh what a hot mess Sonia is. She is just a big, dripping, quivering, twitching bowl of estrogen Jello. SUBMIT to your master wench, Yes Mi Lord. If David touched her she would faint right on the spot.

HOTEL CALIFORNIA!!! YAAAAH! You nailed it, Kirby! Jeezo-smokin'-pete! Yah, just rename this sucker Vino California!

And yes, Sonia is all those things, nice description. She kills me and David finally noticed the way she "presents" herself in their every interaction. That was funny how he told her not to call him Mi Señor. The look on his face, he might as well have said "ewwwww!"

As I remember Lillian was in the doorway and heard one (he doesn't deserve caps) talking on the phone saying something real NOT subtle like, "yah, I'm ripping off David ur hee hee," and she convinced him to let her in on it. Unless someone has a different recollection, this is a recent alliance.

La Rosa de Guadalupe, Edicion Vina.

You are right Lila. I rename him oNe to avoid confusion with the more noble numeral 1 and to remove any semblance of respect.

Thank you CYnthia, I am still fighting this cold and went to bed early, so I appreciate your retelling of the madness.

Evidently, all these teens should be in detention hall. Sorry I missed Tano and SUsan spooning. Is there really supposed to be a ten year or more age difference there, or do the writers think we have forgotten how little Tano was when this tale began? Whatever.

Love the EAgles. RIP , GLenn Frey. We saw DOn Henley and Stevie NIcks a few years ago in concert...great. IT does seem to be impossible to leave that enchanted vineyard. I would like to See DAve wake up and take control instead of being manipulated by so many of the people in his orbit....Fer, Graceless, Lilian, NOJuan, Lovely LUCI. Cesar seems to be the only one truly in his corner.

I ,too, am wondering how Miguel gets away with flexing and posturing in front of his boss .Dave is not the strong galan of old telenovelas.

Gracias, Cynthia.

The enmity between Lillian and her remaining spawn continues to show itself more and more: ”Well, look at my Daddy. Well I know you mistreated him and all…but he went after your friend Marta!” She continues laughing at Lillian. Then Lillian says she can’t take more of this and walks off as Gracie continues to laugh wickedly.

I doubt that Lillian and Marta were ever friends and the comment was sarcastic in view of developments in the previous episode. It looks as though Lillian and Gracie have opposite goals here. If Gracie really wants David and the upwardly socially mobile status she would have while being married to him she would want the vineyard to be successful. She likely doesn't know that Juan and Lillian intend to essentially steal the property and ruin him. Juan was claiming in that scene with Perla that he is going to do this in revenge for his father's losses, which harkens back to Bruno in LQNPA, by the same producer/director. I'm sure there will be a later reveal that no crime was committed by David's father and that Juan's father did something illegal or unethical.

I think the unholy alliance between Juan and Lillian was already in place when the curtain went up. If not, it's been ongoing since Lisa's death (which nobody yet seems to realize was a murder except for Juan).

I'm surprised that Lillian didn't pick up on what Juan was talking about when he threatened Gracie. Lillian was three sheets to the wind at Bobby's birthday party, which could easily have prevented her noticing anything strange in Gracie's behavior that day.

More later.

Thanks, Cynthia. I usually don't get to watch on Wednesdays, but you cover things so well.

SOOOO... Marta and Lillian were once friends? (Gracie said so?) That would explain the profound bitterness, above and beyond the affair. Or was Gracie being sarcastic? (I'm thinking Lil and Marta weren't already enemies before that happened, but possibly they didn't know one another at all.)

Kirby: "I wonder how ONE and Lillian became partners in crime to begin with." Like Lila said, Lil caught Juan embezzling and has been blackmailing him for a percentage ever since. That's pretty much it. She was also encouraging/reinforcing David's depression after Lisa died, to keep him from paying more attention to the business.

Oh definitely Grace was being very sarcastic with her mother concerning the "friends" comment. I am sure she was using the word "friend" in a way that really meant "arch enemy."

I don't think Lillian really could grasp the severity of how Juan said that Gracie only came to Bobby's birthday party to steal David away from Lisa. I think that Lillian could only think that Grace meant she was there to break of the marriage, maybe lure David into bed with her, but certainly not to murder her own sister. No mother, no matter how bad she is, would want to even think about one of her kids capable of murdering their siblings.

Thank you Cynthia! I am with you and others on how weird that Susan/Tano acting like they are in a dorm room scene was. I hope the show breaks them up soon.

This vineyard is something else, that's all I have to say about its administration and management.

Or a mother who knows how bad her child is. Both of these statements can apply to Lillian. As evil as she is she displays no evidence of being a Theresa Knorr.

I doubt that Lillian and Marta knew each other prior to the affair, which I believe happened in Mexico before Marta married Marcos.

Lilian was witness to Graceless crawling all over DImDave because GRace was blatant!y doing it in front of the whole family, including LIsa. Who does that? As a mother of two daughters, I would be calling out a daughter who was doing that, but LIlian always just silently watched GRace's seductive behavior toward her bro in law. Ugh.

Susanlynn: Graciela was gloating groping David while Luciana was watching. You know she's NOT done destroying people yet!

UA: There's got to be more to the story as to why Lillian hates Marta so much.

Cynthia: I'm waiting for that big shoe to drop when Graciela's murder of Lisa is revealed just to see the look on Lillian's face!

OT - Susanlynn - won't belabor this out of respect for this post but SantaAmazon brought me the first four Outlander books today! I have to read books first: I can't just jump into a movie. Maybe I can let you know how it's going off this board! I'm verra excited!

OT..LIla..you are in for a verra nice holiday treat..enjoy!!

OT....LILA..P.S. The first three novels are my absolute favorites of the eight published thus far.

I just read that recent research has found that the brain continues to develop until 30. Maybe that's the reason all these folks seem to be acting a bit immaturely. For those over 30.....well...no excuse for them !!

Cynthia--Wonderful recap. I would pick out Diana's favorites as mine as well. I also loved, "She [Perla] draws a blank and the crickets start chirping." Also loved how you delivered the whole Mi Senor thing. I'm actually getting a little tired of how Sonia repeats it, but now I accept it's part of her fantasy.

Great comments. This episode reeked of teenaged behavior. I would even spread that to David and Miguel confronting each other over Luci in the bodega. Susanlynn--You captured the whole thing in a nutshell.

Poor Cesar the nerdy doctorcito. Cynthia, you nailed it with, "Gracie is on a “date” with Cesar." And he's the only adult left in the whole pack? Pity us.

Does anyone out there suspect that Susan's second fainting-light headedness is our typical tn signal that she is pregnant? Shame on her if she is. This is not the time for her to have played with Tano at such a dangerous game. She's old enough to know better. I certainly hope it's only the after-effects of her toxic poisoning.

So, in the conversation between Gracie and Lilian in the hospital hallway, now we know Gracie knew all along that her daddy cheated on her mother. That was the beginning of her snicker. She began to cackle as she realized that one of his conquests was Marta. Another little piece to the jigsaw puzzle is filled in.

The perfume trick was so LAME. And why was David trying to do vineyard paperwork where the wind constantly blows, instead of his office? He's there most of the time anyway. LAME. Then instead of making Grace sit down, he stands up, just so she can do the hug-thing. LAME, LAME. Of course Luci would be positioned so she could see but not hear and jealousy rears it's usual head. LAME--'cmon writers, give us something a little more adult. Like drugging him and getting in bed naked with him and take selfies (Just kidding.)

Nevertheless, I can't wait for tonight. What will Luci do with three otherwise full-time jobs, reporting to teenaged boys?

Thanks, Cynthia. My fave: Then he asks Perla how it was that she came up with that supplier to order the pesticide. She draws a blank and the crickets start chirping. -- teeheehee!

ITA Gracie was just trying to needle her mom by calling Marta her "friend." But back when Marta collapsed sick on the floor, Gracie gave her a look other than (in addition to?) contempt. Kind of a nostalgic look like they've been on a long journey together. Call me crazy, but I won't be surprised if they had a friendship before Fernando turned up.

Hope we get to meet Susan's ex. I want to see the guy who drove her back to adolescence. I can't blame Ramón though for being proud that his young son has attracted an accomplished babe. Tano could've wound up with Perla or Carito - shudder!

I can't figure it out. Will Lillian congratulate Graceless on moving into the big leagues with a selfish act of Siblicide, or will she (Even for Her) be aghast that a daughter killed her sister? And will she recognize that she could be next?

Come on people, I'm getting bored. I want some bunnyhopping with handcuffs, spankings and hair pulling, and I want to start thinning out the herd a little. I was bored when I was in high school, I don't want to relive the good old days.

Niecie...yeah. I would love to see both Susan's hubby and the cousin we keep hearing about! We need some new blood. Maybe SUsan was married to an older , controlling guy , and now she wants to be in the driver's seat (so to speak) with a younger guy .

Them dam trained crickets will get ya every time Perl. David aint the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even he didn't work up a sweat out-thunkin Perl. Go back to doing what you seem to do bestPearly. I'd bet she can't even type. Prob just a hunt and pecker.

How much does anyone want to bet that Perla will never see a mattress again with Juan? She's back to the desk or nowhere.

There's no desk as long as Juan stays fired. Not that I have a lot of faith that Juan will stay fired for long. But if he does stay fired, he can always use Perla as a spy. Of course, he will still need to keep her happy. Maybe he has a comfortable credenza at home. (Hmm, I wonder if Perla even knows where he lives.)

Maybe Perla will sneak him into the girl's bunkhouse, like Tano and Susie.

Good point, Julie; we don't even know!

Cynthia hampton, giod recap, thank you. Now, stupid perla. Next. Juan is actin like a
Girl in the throws of menepause. They should that down, unless they're turnin him into a crazier person than he already is.

I like the way david and miguel do the "Im the
One That will win luciana" dance. I like their
Honesty about their feelings for her, and she
Is lovin it. So am I. They can do away with the rest Of this, I like watchin these two hot roosters go at It, so fun and entertaining, Lol.
And they'er so gentlemanly with it. They have
Got to be laughin after those scenes.

Ok, next. Thanks Cynthia.

Julie: I doubt we're going to see Susan & Tano as the end-game.

Cesar could be the lucky guy, who ends up with Susan in the end.

You know what? I'm wondering if Susan doesn't end up with David in the end. Luci should really be with Miguel. He's better than David in every way except blondness, and blondness does not need to be a priority.

I know Luci isn't feeling the chemistry now, but maybe she will bump her head and wake up feeling hot for Miguel. It could happen.

Hi, Julie. Even though I would choose Miguel over morose downer Dave, I think that Luci will end up with Dave. When Dave and Miguel were shirtless, OLd Dave did win the sixpack competition. Guns.

I think SUsan will end up with the good doctor and not her rebound boytoy Tano. P.s. Tano would not look so young with a different haircut. Those unkempt locks make him look pubescent. Commit to a style, Tano...shirt or long. Pick one.No wings. His threat to her hubby was foolish and will end up making trouble for SUsan .

Oops..short not shirt..sorry..too hasty.

I agree... let's see Tano with no shirt. LOL!
Yes, Dave did win the sixpack contest, with guns. But Miguel could probably get bigger guns too. And Dave's sixpack could disappear after eating just a couple of Twinkies. So I'm not giving Dave an advantage there.
