Enamorandome de Ramon #43 10.12.17: Impromptu Proposals & Manipulation Tactics

Fabiola hugs Ramon tightly then and he leans in to kiss her. Fabiola turns toward him and they kiss among the stars.

Post coitus, Osvaldo asks Emilia if she’s leaving for the night, as he thought they were going to stay together, and Emilia answers that she has a prior engagement but will be back soon. He asks her not to take long and she gives him a kiss before leaving. Once alone, Osvaldo turns on the TV but receives a call from Susana, who asks if she’s going to see him since they haven’t seen each other in a while, but Osvaldo tells her he has a paper due and will call her tomorrow to see if they can see each other Sunday. He hangs up without another word, much to Susana’s dismay.

Andrea arrives home and Juana chides her for being so late, as she never is, and Andrea explains that she spent the whole afternoon with her new professor, Santiago, and asks Juana if she knows how to do “tortas augadas” from Guadalajara as it’s Santiago’s favorite. Juana only made them once before but will make them as soon as she invited Santiago over. Juana then receives a call from Pedro, who invites her to an opera, and Juana agrees, with pleasure. Pedro will pick her up tomorrow at 6pm and Juana agrees before hanging up. Andrea notes that Pedro must like her as they’ve gone to dinner and now the opera but Juana shakes her head and asks her to help her look up some information on the opera they will be seeing, La Traviata. Andrea will, after dinner, and tells Juana to use her nice dress tomorrow. and they go have dinner.

Julio runs into Emilia at Greta’s and they both go down into the basement for the clandestine poker game. She asks how he’s been, since she last saw him run off in the casino, and Julio reveals that his wife died. Emilia gives him her condolences and asks him why he didn’t tell her, so she could support him. Julio tells her that he didn’t think about it and Emilia hopes the game distracts him. Moments later, they walk into the poker game, give Greta their entry fee, and begin the game. Julio sips his wine, slowly, gauging the situation.

Ramon and Fabiola watch the fireflies form the hood of her car when Ramon asks if there is anything else he can do for her. Fabiola laughs and tells him that he’s becoming very cheesy, but she loves that about him. Ramon kisses her and then asks if he can do anything else so they go back to the way they were. Fabiola sighs and jokes that she needs something to eat and drink first because she’s starving. Ramon tells her dinner has been waiting and get into the car, after one final kiss, and drive to their destination.

In the game, both Emilia and Julia bow out of the current hand and Greta wins. They all cheer to her health and continue to play though Julio doesn’t seem to be having the best night.

Susana goes to see Osvaldo at the apartment but Agustin answers and tells her that Osvaldo has not been there since the afternoon. He asks if she would like to leave a message vet Susana will look for him later. She thanks Agustin and leaves before calling Osvaldo again, who asks if she’s on her way. Susana demands to know who is on the way and Osvaldo realizes his mistake. He tells her that he’s waiting for his friend, Rolando, so they can work on a project but Susana reveals that she went to the apartment and knows he’s lying. She doesn’t know if or why he’s two-timing her but he can go to hell. She hangs up the phone on Osvaldo but he shrugs and continues watching TV.

At the game, Julio ups the ante with the same man he owed money to before and wins. Emilia smiles at him and Julio collects his chips. Greta then announces that they are going to take a break and goes to stand by the bar with Emilia. Greta wonders why Emilia is smiling, since she just lost, and Emilia tells her that she’s still with her young beau, who can go up to six times a night. Greta smiles, knowingly.

Ramon leads Fabiola into a candlelit cabin and surprises her. Fabiola is enchanted by the scene and tells Ramon that she loves it. They then declare their love for each other and begin to kiss. Ramon then goes to light the chimney but Fabiola stops him as she prefers for him to open the wine. He obliges and pours two glasses before toasting to their love. They both drink, while staring into each other’s eyes, and kiss.

Porfirio and Veronica are leaving for the night and plan to go to dinner and a movie. Porfirio will choose the restaurant and Veronica the movie though she forgot her cell phone and must call her mother. Porfirio will wait in the car while she goes to find it but, once alone, Veronica’s smile dissolves into a scowl as she goes back to the offices.

Antonio is driving home when Roxana calls him to tell him that she spoke to Diego about the current state of their relationship, namely, the fact that they are not getting back together despite her promises that they would, and the child is devastated. Antonio curses her for giving Diego false hope but Roxana begs him to come so they can console the child. Antonio is on his way.

Veronica goes into Porfirio’s office, turns on his computer, and finds the file Margarita prepared for the Grupo Cresta lawsuit. She inserts a USB into the back of the computer and transfers the file.

During another hand, Julio and the same man are the only ones left with chips and they decide to play another round to see who wins. The man notes that they are in the final round again and the dealer begins the game though Julio is far from happy.

Antonio arrives at Roxana’s and tries to go see Diego but Roxana wants to know what he’s going to tell him. Antonio will opt for the truth: he and Roxana are not getting back together even though they are having a baby together. Roxana asks if there is any hope for them, even if it’s in the future but Antonio reminds her that, while he would’ve fought to keep his family together in the past, this is no longer the case. He goes to see Diego as Roxana’s eyes water.

During the game, Julio, and the man up the ante and the deal reveals the final card. The man thinks he has won but Julio has won this time, much to the man’s dismay.

In the cabin, Ramon and Fabiola are making out by the fireplace when Ramon goes to put another log in the fire. He then kisses Fabiola again and kneels in front of her. He looks at her then and declares that he loves her. Fabiola only looks at him and gives him a kiss before standing up and taking off Ramon’s shirt. He continues to kiss her while he takes off his tank top and takes off her jacket. They look at each other and Ramon takes off Fabiola’s undershirt and unbuckles her bra. They hug and fall to the floor, enthralled by each other’s presence. On the floor, Fabiola caresses Ramon’s face and he lays her down on the bed before kissing her passionately. They give into their passion and enjoy their love, and bodies, to the fullest.

Sometime later, Fabiola and Ramon bask in their post lovemaking cuddle. Ramon declares that he loves Fabiola again and she loves that he does. He confesses that she is the woman of his life and Fabiola loves that she is. They kiss and Ramon asks if she’s now sure he loves her. Fabiola nods and kisses him again but Ramon reminds her that they must get back to reality soon. Fabiola doesn’t want to go back and hugs him tightly. Ramon kisses her again and they cuddle.

In his room, Diego cries his eyes out and tells Antonio that he wants him and Roxana to get back together. Antonio explains that this can’t be but Diego wants to know if the baby will have a father. Antonio tells him that he will but Diego declares that he doesn’t love him, Roxana, or the baby. If he did, he would live with them. He continues to cry as Roxana comes and engulfs him in a hug. Roxana looks at Antonio, who is visibly bothered by her manipulation tactics, and holds Diego tight.

Greta congratulates Julio on his win and gives him his earnings. The man, who reminds Julio that he accepted his rematch in their prior game, begs Julio to accept one more game and not waste his good luck. Julio finally relents and they place their starting bets.

Roxana begs Diego not to cry, as he and the baby will still see Antonio whenever they want, but Diego shakes off her hug and screams that he wants his parents to live together. As he runs off, Roxana chides Antonio for not telling Diego that they will live together, in only to placate him, but Antonio won’t live a lie anymore and refuses to get back with Roxana. Roxana reminds him that she wouldn’t be pregnant if he didn’t love her but Antonio refuses to be manipulated by her or Diego. He goes to leave and tells Diego that they will talk more tomorrow though Diego screams that he doesn’t want to. With one final look at Roxana, he leaves.

Julio looks at his hand and asks the dealer to exchange his cards. The man does too and they both look at their hands, with the man showing his hand, hoping to win. Julio shows his hand as well, and has won, much to the man’s annoyance. Julio looks at him, happy, and takes a drink of his wine.

Andrea and Juana search music from La Traviata and listen to the song. They both think the music is beautiful and Andrea would love to go, but she refuses to be a third wheel. Juana chides her bringing that up again and asks Andrea to explain the plot of the opera. Andrea obliges and Juana notes that it’s sad the protagonist dies in every version. Andrea thinks the music is beautiful regardless so she shouldn’t cry. Juana nods and then realizes that Fabiola has not arrived and it’s late. She calls Fabiola.

Fabiola and Ramon are cuddling when Fabiola’s phone rings. Ramon sees that it’s Juana and begs Fabiola not to answer but she does as Juana will be worried. Juana asks her where she is and Fabiola explains that she ran into an old friend and they went out to catch up. As Ramon laughs behind her and cries Fabiola’s shoulders and teases her, Fabiola tells Juana that she doesn’t know how late she will be and may even stay over her friend’s house. Juana agrees and Fabiola hangs up. She then asks Ramon if it was okay that she lied and Ramon notes that it was a small lie but she should’ve told Juana the truth. Fabiola shakes her head and tells her that Juana would’ve gone crazy. Ramon then turns off his own cellphone, lest Juana call his too, and kisses Fabiola. He tells her that he hopes she enjoys her sleepover with her friend, Carolina, and laughs.

Emilia says good night to both Greta and Julio, who asks her to stay longer, but Emilia is going to meet up with a friend. Julio asks her to invite him but Emilia is sure her friend wouldn’t like the environment and leaves. Once alone, Greta confesses to Julio that Emilia is sleeping with a man who could be his son and she doubts Emilia would like to invite him. Julio is surprised but drinks his drink, silently.

Margarita goes to see Andrea, and chides her for not telling her that she can talk, but Juana explains that anyone who currently knows is by coincidence. Margarita nods and tells her that Pedro told her when she called about another matter. She then hugs Andrea and congratulates her. Andrea thanks her as Margarita asks Juana if they can spare some dinner. Juana goes to prepare something as Margarita asks about Fabiola. Andrea tells her that she’s with a friend, Carolina, and is going to sleep over her house. Andrea then asks about Antonio but Margarita would prefer to hear more about how she recovered her voice. Andrea smiles and explains how it happened.

Emilia arrives at the apartment to find Osvaldo waiting for her on the couch. He asks her how it went and Emilia tells him that it wasn’t as good as she hoped but he can make her feel better. She goes to kiss him but Osvaldo reveals that Susana caught him in a lie and told him to go to hell. Emilia thinks she will get over it soon enough but Osvaldo reminds her that he doesn’t want to hurt Susana, especially because she’s still his girlfriend. Emilia, now visibly angry, tells him to break up with Susana, if he doesn’t want to hurt her, and never mention her in her presence again. She then tells him that she doesn’t want to sleep with him right now and storms off as Osvaldo shakes his head.

The next day, Fabiola and Ramon come out of the cabin and she declares that she’s hungry. Ramon notes that she eats a lot and it will be costly to date her but Fabiola thinks she eats the normal amount of time a day, like he does. Ramon tells her that her kisses are enough to sustain him and Fabiola asks if he will continue to be cheesy today. Ramon loves her and, if he does, he will continue to be cheesy. They kiss again and Ramon tells her that they will get breakfast ASAP but Fabiola wants a photo of the cabin first. Ramon teases her and calls her cheesy too but Fabiola snaps a picture and gets in the car with him.

Benito is in the waiting room for the psychologist when he receives a call from the doorman, who chides him for being late to his shift. Benito tells him that he has an emergency and will come in earlier tomorrow. He then hangs up as the psychologist calls him name and leads him into the room. Before entering, Benito declares that he is there for a relative and not for himself. In the office, Benito explains that his mother seems normal but, as soon as he told her that he had a girlfriend, she ignores him or seems not to hear him. The psychologist thinks that she has dissociative hysteria, where the patient blocks out certain information that causes her extreme stress. The psychologist explains that it can be cured but she will need treatment and it can take a long time for her to get better. Benito nods but explains that it will be difficult to get her mother to come though he must find a solution or he will lose his girlfriend. He asks the psychologist if he can treat her at home but he’s used to doing this though he ultimately agrees because Fredesvinda’s case is strange. Benito smiles and thanks him as the psychologist asks Benito to please write down his address and he will visit his mother tomorrow. Benito obliges and writes down his cell phone as well.

Veronica is at home on her laptop when Porfirio calls and asks where he is taking him today. Veronica can’t go anywhere though as she must do all her laundry by hand and it may take all day. Porfirio thinks she’s very efficient and will go grab a coffee while he waits for her to finish. Veronica agrees to call him if she does and hangs up before calling Grupo Cresta. She dials the directory for the law department and leaves a message stating that she has information on the other side’s tactics and, should they want it, they can email her (at Margarita’s email) and hangs up, satisfied.

Juana and Andrea are running to catch a taxi to visit Dr. Linares when they see Ramon and Fabiola arrive in her car. They get out and Ramon greets Juana, who asks them where they are coming from. Ramon explains that they came from picking up the car at the insurance and offer to take them to Linares. They agree and get in.

Roxana receives a call from Antonio, who asks to speak to Diego, but Diego doesn’t want to because he’s mad at him. Antonio wants to hear it from Diego, as Roxana could be lying, but Roxana reminds him that he must believe her word because he doesn’t live with them. As soon as she’s hung up, a smiling Diego comes and asks if it was Antonio, as he wanted to talk to him. Roxana lies and tells him that it was from her job and Diego shrugs before Roxana asks if he wants to get ice cream and go to a movie. Diego agrees and goes to get ready as Roxana sighs.

Juana asks Fabiola about Carolina and Fabiola tells her that she’s the same but they talked all night and caught up. Juana notes that she looks like she hasn’t sleep but now it makes sense. Fabiola and Ramon smile at each other but Juana continues to grill them with questions, like when her and Ramon got back together as Dalia told her that Fabiola left work with a headache. Fabiola tells her that she did but she and Ramon got back together via phone and then she ran into Carolina and her headache went away. Juana nods and Fabiola and Ramon continue to smile.

Porfirio is having a coffee at a shop when Margarita sees him. She sits down, happy to see him sans Veronica, his keeper, and Porfirio chides her for making fun of her. Margarita tells her that she isn’t but can’t control her laughter. Porfirio knows that she doesn’t like Veronica and Margarita nods before explaining that she finds Veronica boring. Porfirio finds her exciting and adventurous though Margarita thinks anyone can do what she does. Porfirio challenges her to climb the wall with him and margarita agrees. They get up and go.

Dr. Linares welcomes Andrea, happy to hear her voice, and Andrea jokes that she even talks with the mirror now as she was growing tired of using the tablet. Linares tells her that Juana said she talked a lot but Andrea only talks the necessary amount. Linares smiles and then asks her how she got her voice back. Andrea explains that she had dream where she tried to tell Jorge to not blame himself for Virginia’s death and then she heard a voice telling her the same thing and woke up screaming that he parent’s death wasn’t her fault. Linares nods and explains how she unblocked herself, psychologically.

In the waiting room, Roan, and Fabiola kiss when Fabiola goes to the bathroom for a second, leaving Ramon and Juana alone. Juana asks him about what happened last night, as she knows both their stories were a lie, and chides him and Fabiola for not acting correctly. Ramon thinks they did nothing wrong, especially because they love each other, but Juana thinks they are too on-again, off-again for her taste. Ramon explains that they talked it over and have established that they are together and that they love each other so much. Just then, Fabiola comes back as Linares opens the door and congratulates Andrea for getting her voice back. They all thank him for his help and Linares smiles.

Moments later, outside, Ramon tells Fabiola that Juana is worried about what may have happened between them. Fabiola knew she suspected something as she kept looking at her like when she was a kid and lied. She chides Ramon for talking when Juana called but Ramon can only smile. Fabiola asks if he thinks Juana thinks they slept together and Ramon nods and reveals that Juana thinks they are no acting correctly. Fabiola is sure they are though and declares her love for Ramon. Ramon engulfs her in a passionate kiss and tells her that he never wants to be apart. Neither does Fabiola but Ramon reminds her that he doesn’t want to get in trouble with anyone from her family. Fabiola tells him that there is something they must do then: get married! Ramon is floored.

Mr. Alfredo, great recap. It seemed the whole episode was Ramoon and Fabi smooching and other things. Should keep the panties on the patio happy for a while, me, I miss a few good fistfights and shootings, but Fabi is adorable, so there. She was rocking those little painted on jeans too.

Let me see where were we? Oh Thanks again for an excellent recap Sir. We are all in debt to you.

So Miss Verrr-runnnn-Icka is a corporate spy. Yikes. Well at least she appears to take one for the team, like any good spy would. I'm back to calling him Poor-fie again now.

Fabi and Ramoon get along just fine away from all the Shit disturbers who need to die. When I saw all those candles I knew undies were hitting the floor tonight, the prerequisite to a long lost luuurve returning...Um is that a Rooms to Go truck off in the distance? There would not be a panting fire engine red Sofa in there would there? Nothing will bring around an ex like the 'M' word.

When they are 'ON', Ram and Fab are on. Yum

thank you so much, Alfredo for another excellent retelling of all the various and sundry crazy.

Is Emilia a gambling groupie? She seems to watch but not gamble herself.

Ramon and Fab have great chemistry..as hot as that roaring fire in the fire place. Young love. They seem so joyful ,and the actor appears very comfortable displaying his muscled , tatooed torso. I kept thinking about the chilly distance between the two leads on Vino...not even a smolder there.

The Roxy\ANt storyline is disturbing.

And Yah, Fabi is a flake, cute and sexy as she is, the whole family are as flaky as a bad case of dandruff.
Put a ring on it Ramoon and see how long that lasts, well, I will not keep you guessing, that prenup hoppyness will last until Ms Sofa arrives.

Run, Forest, Run. She is in the danger zone in the Hot Crazy Matrix. You can see it on YouTube, Ramoonie. "Hot Crazy Matrix - A man's guide to women'.

Roxanna should be tortured by evil space robots or sacrificed to the fire ants. EVIL. Evil enough to put her personal wants waaaay above her little son's happiness. Lie to him and let him cry if that will bring Antonio back around? EVIL

Careful Don Pedro: Those stupid ones are cute, but they can be a lot of work sometimes. Like a grownup newborn.

Oz, Em&Em, Suse' meh next!

Julio was pretty impressive last night, in a Satanic kind of way. I only hope he wins enough that he doesn't need Dumbass' money, but I am not holding my breath. They seem to be like alcoholics, 'One is too many and a hundred is never enough.'

And (Bunny) Hoppy Friday Patio.
kj

Excellent Alfredo.

"Fabiola turns toward him and they kiss among the stars" and "Julio sips his wine, slowly, gauging the situation" were my favorite among many great lines.

So Andrea is already asking Juana concocting Santiago’s favorite dishes? He’s made quite an impression. And with lightening speed.

I thought a faint warning bell might have gone off in Emilia’s head hearing Julio’s wife had just died. Connecting that “coincidence” seems not to have occurred. Os and Em make my skin crawl.

Susanlynn, I believe Em played at least one hand last night. Unlike others (cough, Julio, cough), she seems to enjoy it but knows when to stop. I suspect that for her, it's a distraction rather than a compulsion.

“Emilia, now visibly angry, tells him to break up with Susana, if he doesn’t want to hurt her, and never mention her in her presence again. Huh??? What a wicked, twisted mess.

It WAS nice to see Ramon and Fabi cooing and cuddling. As you alluded to Kirby, they are at their best together, loving and not fighting.

I was surprised that I was secretly happy Julio won at the poker game. I was trying to see how I would express it but your "Julio was pretty impressive last night, in a Satanic kind of way" said it all Kirby.

Congratulations to everyone who suspected Vero was up to no good. I seesawed back and forth but couldn't make up my mind. A spy never crossed my mind.

It's clear Marg is at her most exuberant and happiest when she is with Porf. Ant has too much baggage (Roxie) and Diego's refusal to accept Marg has already doomed their relationship.

So, it's a night at the opera for Pedro and Juana. I suspect Pedro is going to be disappointed as Juana is likely "meant" for another. Frankly, I don't see her with Julio either, it's just not a "match".

I thought Ant and Roxy would get back together but I'm not so sure now...

It's Friday and I've been blessed with 2 great recaps (this and Rgv Chick's), fun astute comments from the patio and yet another amazing avatar from you Kirby.

Life is good...

Thank you Alfredo!

Diana

Julio sipping on that wine like a Buji idiot.

Diana with the following two nougats, I thought something would start to jell, but they were not within earshot of the right people.

"Emilia tells her that she’s still with her young beau, who can go up to six times a night. Greta smiles, knowingly.

Once alone, Greta confesses to Julio that Emilia is sleeping with a man who could be his son and she doubts Emilia would like to invite him. Julio is surprised but drinks his drink, silently. "

Kirby, yes, you noted two very interesting tidbits.

Emilia's comment did not escape my notice. The thought of Oz and Em is distasteful in and of itself. As the "quality" is inferior, learning the "quantity" really made me want to throw up a bit in my mouth.

As Julio thinks Oz is with his (age appropriate) girl friend, he would be hard pressed to think it might be Oz. Julio is rather bright and when something else arises (as it surely will), he will definitely pick up on it. Will he be as revolted as we are or will he give him an "attaboy"?

I have no issue with age differences but what is Oz, 20? A thirty year difference is significant. Really significant.

Diana

" he give him an "attaboy"?"

I'm thinking he will be like: "Yeah, hey when you.... does she make this funny......?"

"Yeah, I thought that was weird too, does her daughter, what's her name, Susy, do it too?"

I'm inclined to agree with you Kirby.

It would be refreshing if he surprised us and gave him the stern lecture advising against "dating" two women at once. Especially women who live under the same roof. And ultimately, never a mother and daughter.

it's amazing how dense and oblivious Oz is. Sigh.

Diana

"Especially women who live under the same roof."

Is akin to having two anti virus programs on your computer at the same time. Though both may be good, they will never coexist and will abandon their original tasks to the exclusive goal of eradicating the other.

Kirby Johnson 2017

RGV Chik where are you today? Still 'splainin' to the goatlets what you were watching on TV last night? Good Luck

Thank you, Alfredo. A poetic description of Fabi and Ramon's night.

Agree with Kirby about Roxana. She is falling deeper and deeper. And to think that at one point we thought she was a good mother.

Margarita is at a point that if Porfirio turns his attention on her, she would accept. Agree with Diana "It's clear Marg is at her most exuberant and happiest when she is with Porf." Antonio is stuck with that Roxi.

Fabi and Ramon's interaction flows so easily. They show so much joy being with each other. Fabiola's impulsiveness has two sides. She is quick to throw a tantrum, but also is quick to propose a marriage. Ramon was concerned about disapproval from Juana and Fabiola's family about them spending nights together. After their night she is ready to do anything to stay together, have more of those nights. Get married is what she came up with to solve it.

Emilia is a user. She uses people. You can see that there is no real affection in her relationship with Oz. He is just MVP with a great batting average. She won't hesitate to trade him if he gets into a slump. What a hollow life.

Roxy is another user. It is interesting that the men are the ones being objectified in this show.

Julio is only interested in one thing..his gambling addiction. TV usually shows the downfall associated with addictions.

AA, excellent recap. I missed last night's episode. I've been kind of a lurker here lately and just want to say a big THANK YOU to all of the recappers!!!!!!

I have been trying to pay close attention to the opening photos of who is kissing whom because they often indicate endgame. I saw Ant kissing Roxy ,(,no no no..if you go back to her , she will eventually get bored and wander off with someone again).Ramoon and Fab are kissing, and I think that I saw Julio kissing Juana.

Hey, Patio Buds!!...very busy days lately with all the rain and mud and having to feed babies and take goats to a the neighbors "stolen" grassy area...hehe

AAA, and stellar recap..oooh...now it's AAA delivers a triple S--Super Sensational and Stellar recap LOL

Kirby, you think Veeerun-ick-a is a corporate spy? or is she just trying to sabotage Marg's case to make her look bad in Poor-Fi's eyes? I think she wants to replace Marg in every way she can..personally and professionally.

The love scene was tremenedous and , Alfredo, your description...just inspiring!

"Juana Goes to the the Opera" hmmm that reminded me of the "Tammy" movies...remember those? LOL

Emilia is just unbelievable...jealous of her own daughter and doesn't flinch to know that she is hurting her, in fact she seems to relish in the fact taht she is preferred to her daughter...another "Toxic" mother??

Be back later with more...

Kirby, AMAZING shot...worthy of my collection (wink, wink...)

Susanlynn, I agree with your theory that what shows in the credits usually ends up as end game.

That said, I thought there might also be a shot of Antonio and Marg kissing. This makes sense as I think the writers are going to try and reveal their final hand. I'll look closer tonight.

Oooh Rgv Chick, another toxic mother is right!! Great call.

Diana

CHickie..ARe the goats wearing coats today? It is a bit cooler here...62.

Diana..toward the end of the intro, Ant is kissing someone passionately , but I cannot tell who it is. Remember the big debate about who Ryan was kissing in the intro of Doble Vida. ..the woman in the white dress?

Susanlynn, the only thing I'm certain of is that Rox is in at least one of them (they are in bed and the kissing looks a bit awkward). He is also in a liplock with Marg rather near the beginning. I'll search for more tonight.

In La Doble, I was certain Laura was in the white dress from the start, one of the few times I've been right :)

RgvChick, I also thought Vero was spying but you could certainly be right in that Vero wants to sabotage Marg. It will be interesting to see if Vero has any real feelings at all for Porf or if it's all a con.

Diana

Rox just plain makes me want to puke; I think she and Emi need to take a onevway trip to middle earth...along with HorHellia...and right now even she is a both higher than the two piranhas.

Susy, no goat coats...it's been in the mid-high 80's...we only had that one day that was in the high 60s, but another cool front is on the way.

Alfredo I don't know how you do it, all your recaps are as Fabulous as Fabi and Ramon when they are happy.

Last night's episode was a welcome change for me.
Some masks continue to fall off.
--Roxy is a sorry excuse for a mother she is the most detestable.
--Vero, I knew that smirk of hers was revealing before, now we all know she is up to now good. I don't think she is a corporate spy, I think she is doing this to hurt Maggie. She does not like Maggie and Porfi's relationship. I may be proven wrong but I think she's not smart enough to be a corporate spy, but she is spiteful enough to want to hurt Maggie.
Some people are smarter than we give them credit for.
--Juana may act childlike, dress like a girl, but no one pulled wool over her eyes last night. She knew what was up with Ramon and Fabiola.
Some monsters continue to roam the earth.
--Emilia, Roxy, Vero, Julio

Vero looks cagey to me. I do not know what her game is, but she is not a goodie.

The writers have painted Roxy as such a selfish , flighty manipulater that I do not think they are going to have her succeed in getting the baby daddy of her choice. I do not know if Marg will get her heart,'s first choice ..also Ant...or Porf.

CHickie..yes, there are quite a few nasty women in this show. ARe the writers men or women or both?

I want to dedicate a tune to RAmoon and Fab...Fleetwood Mac "You Make LOving FUn." very happy lovers.

Sandie, I wanted to cut and paste your entire comment.

"--Juana may act childlike, dress like a girl, but no one pulled wool over her eyes last night" made me smile. So very, very true!!!

Diana

Diana: Yes I think Juana doesn't get enough credit. Yes she trusts Julio, and yes she doesn't know about the internet, about e-mail, the opera, etc. etc. But so far she has been able to achieve her goals by being simple, humble, grateful and smart. Yes I used the S word. She may not be educated as far as school is concerned, but she has experienced a thing or two and is the kind of smart that is innate. She has internal alarms that go off at the right time.

Susanlyn: great song choice :)

OT...I need a new tablet , and I saw an AMazon Fire 7" on sale. Does anyone have one? If so, do you recommend it? #batterykeepsfailingneedtechsupport

" writers men or women or BOTH? " um.....like...transvestites?
YIKES #goingdowntherabbitholenow
