Enamorándome de Ramon; #44, Friday October 13, 2017; Fabiola and Ramón Decide to get Married!

We begin tonight’s episode where we left off last night: Fabiola is sure they are and declares her love for Ramon. Ramon engulfs her in a passionate kiss and tells her that he never wants to be apart. Neither does Fabiola but Ramon reminds her that he doesn’t want to get in trouble with anyone from her family. Fabiola tells him that there is something they must do then: get married! Ramon is floored.

Ramón says, “Just like that so soon? I don’t have anything to offer you.” “It doesn’t matter,” says Fabiola. “All I need is you and nothing else.” Ramon shrugs and says, “Me too, I don’t need anything else. Then let’s get married. Let’s get married today if you want to. I don’t ever want to lose you.” Fabi says, “Then we have to tell everyone, the whole family, even Grandma.” So they take off to tell the family.

Margarita and Porfirio are on a rock climbing date. She is trying to climb and tells the instructor that she has a fear of heights. She starts to climb, does a little yodel, then falls to the ground. Paramedics run to attend to her.

Julio and Jorge are talking and Julio tells him that he plans to see his mother’s store. Jorge asks why because he thinks he can run it. Julio thinks it’s the best thing because it just is too much right now. Jorge says that it hurts him because it belonged to his mother. He asks Jorge about his brother and says he would like to reconcile things between them. Jorge says he should do that….but then says, “Who is Betito?” “Betito” says Julio. Then he acts like he knows nothing about this “Betito”.

Porfirio brings Margarita home, turns out she has just a sprain. He helps her to the couch, but they both trip together and they end up like this:

Then they end up doing this:

Margarita then stops him and pushes him away. Porfi says, “What, do you regret this? Or do you feel something for me?” Marg says she does. “But why now?” says Porfi. Marg says, “Sometimes that’s the way spontaneous things happen.” Porfi says, “I wish this would have happened in the past.” They talk a little and he mentions about how he is pushing 40 and he likes another good person. “Is that enough for you?” says Marg. “It’s better that I leave” says Porfi and he walks out.

Roxy is at the hamburger place that looks like McDonalds. Antonio tries to call her but she ignores his call. He calls again and Diego wants to know if it’s his father but Roxy tells him it’s just her work and she doesn’t want to answer.

Benito calls his mom and says he wants to bring a good friend home for dinner. His mom says, “Better a guy friend than that woman.”

Juana is getting ready to go the opera and is all gussied up and looks really nice without those pigtails. Don Pedro picks her up and she happily goes out with him.

At Porfi’s house, he doorbell rings and it’s Veronica with a plate of brownies. Porfi greets her by saying, “So what do I owe the honor that you made time for me after having to do your laundry?” Veronica answers, “Well, I also made you some brownies.” He offers to make some coffee but she turns him down. She says she missed him all day and begins to kiss him. But she says that he is distant and cold and questions him on what he is feeling. He makes excuses but then she says she should leave. “Eat the brownies so you can sweeten yourself up.” He daydreams about his kiss with Margarita and tells himself not to have any illusions.

Fabiola comes home and Andrea tells her that Juana went to the opera with Don Pedro. The conversation turns to Ramón. Andrea says she had never ever seen her so happy, even when she was with Francisco. Then Fabi drops the bomb, she and Ramón are getting married! “Isn’t it a little soon?” says Andrea. She just looks at Fabi incredulously.

Juana and Don Pedro go to dinner after the opera and Pedro starts explaining about all the nuances concerning the opera. Juana is a good listener and a good learner, thoroughly enjoying herself. The waiter comes by and Pedro orders wine and spinach lasagna for them with Ricotta cheese.

Susana gets to her home with her cougar mother Emilia and starts telling her about what a scumbag Osvaldo is. She thinks he’s been with some other girl, but Emilia tells her that he was probably with some guys. “No” says Susana. “I went to his place and he wasn’t there when he said he was there working on something. He lied to me.”  Emilia says, “Well I don’t know why you are going out with him anyway. He’s nothing to write home about.” Ding dong! The maid answers the door and then escorts Osvaldo inside. He looks at Susana and says, “Hey, we need to talk.” Susana is pretty mad at him asking him if he finished his work. She says, “Okay Osvaldo, just tell me if you have someone else.” (Emilia is around the corner listening to the conversation.) “No of course not, there is no one else!” says Os. He puts on this “How could you think of me in such a way” attitude and he leave. Susana yells at him, “You are such a fool!” Emilia just shrugs her shoulders from around the corner.

Antonio gets home and his phone is ringing. It’s Roxy and she tells him that she just noticed that she had several unanswered calls that she didn’t notice earlier. “Where have you been?” says Antonio. “I’ve been waiting for you all day around your apartment.” “Well”, says Roxy. “We went to the movies, I just wanted to distract Diego for a while.” “Well then, let me talk to him” says Antonio. “No can do” says Roxy. “He just went to bed.” “Are you just trying to keep him away from me or what? Says Antonio. “Of course I’m not” says Roxy. “If Diego is being distant with you it’s because he is angry with you because you don’t want to live with us.” Antonio says, “Well Roxana, you aren’t helping this situation either!” “How do you expect me to help you?” says Roxy. “The truth is the truth and you are just hearing the raw truth.” Antonio says, “With you, it’s not going to happen.” Then they hang up. Roxy feels proud of how she manipulated the situation.

Julio is having breakfast with his mother, Horrortensia and asks how she is feeling. Hor tells him that the doctor did some tests and now she is taking some Vitamin B-2 and feels great, no more headache pains. She then asks how he is doing and he tells her that he is doing badly since Virginia died. They were together many years and had a life together. Hor makes the comment that they didn’t have the perfect marriage. But Julio says that maybe not, but she was his wife and the mother of his children. Hor asks about Osvaldo and Julio lets her know that Os is no longer living at home because of problems they had together. Hor then comments and says, “I don’t know how you let that boy escape from your hands.” “I don’t know either, Mom. All I can do now is try to restore things with him.”

At breakfast with Juana and Andrea, Juana recounts the opera and how wonderful it was. Fabiola comes out tells them about her date with Ramón. Juana asks about their plans and doesn’t want to interfere but doesn’t want them to end up with problems either. Fabi says, there is no problem “Everything is perfect! We decided to get married!” “Are you crazy?” says Juana. “Why not, if we are in love?” “Because” says Juana. “Being in love is one thing and making the decision to get married is quite another. You need to have some more sense about this. You haven’t even known each other very long, good God!” “We know each other quite well and it’s enough.” Fabi says. Juana replies that there are so many differences that after a while, it will all come out. Fabi also says that “All we need is love and that will be enough to get us through.” Juana then asks, “So where are you going to live?” Fabi explains that with what she inherited, her job at the shop and what Ramón makes they will get through it and they will figure it all out together. Juana, visibly shaken and upset, gets up from the table and says she has to go talk to Ramón about it. She gets up to go out the door and as she opens the door, who is standing there but Julio! He bids her good morning, but she tells him that she has something she has to do. He says, “So what is going on?” Juana tells him, “Ask Fabiola!”

Fredesvinda and Adalgisa are setting the table together. They discuss whoever Benito is bringing to dinner. Fredes says “It’s probably some old fat guy with a beer belly gut who wants to watch fútbol.” But then, Benito comes through the door with a good looking guy named Jean Claude. Ada looks quite interested and Jean Claude looks quite inviting. Fredes hands Ada her purse and tells her she needs to leave and get to work before she is late. Reluctantly, Ada does leave and tells everyone to enjoy their dinner. Even Fredes looks smitten with Jean Claude. She asks Jean Claude how he met her son because Benito never said anything about him. Jean Claude says that he is there working, they met at the metro, he was lost and didn’t have anyone to give him directions. So they made friends and since he doesn’t have anyone he knows there, Benito thought it would be a good idea to invite him to dinner.

Julio finds out that Fabi wants to marry Ramón and advises against it.  “Ramón is only a mechanic, what kind of life can he offer you?” Fabi says she doesn’t care and they will come out ahead together. “Forgive me” says Julio. “But the only reason I think he wants to marry you is because of the money.” “You’re wrong!” says Fabi. “He doesn’t care about the money. And like it or not, I’m going to marry him.” Julio then says, “I just hope you don’t live to regret this.” Then he goes out the door. She turns to Andrea and says, “So what now, you haven’t said anything, what do you think?” Andrea answers, “Look I don’t have anything against Ramón. But I think it is a bad idea to be in a hurry to get married.”

Margarita catches up with her brother Julio in the hallway and Julio lets her in on the news that Fabi told them. Marg says she will talk with Fabi about it.

Back at Benito and Fredes’ place, they are eating and then Jean Claude asks Fredes who Luisia is. Benito answers, “She is my girlfriend, the love of my life.” But Fredes just ignores that statement and changes the subject to dessert, “capirotada” (Mexican bread pudding). But then Benito stops his mother and tells her, “Did you hear me? I just said that Luisa is the love of my life.” Again, Fredes ignores what Benito has said and she leaves the table. Jean Claude tells Benito that his mother has some sort of selective dissociative disorder. He says not to worry, he brought some pills to give to her, white ones and red ones. “This should relieve what she is going through.”

The news of Fabi’s decision to get married now reaches Antonio, with Margarita knocking at his door with the news. Juana arrives at Ramón’s place and Juana pleads with him about the situation. “Are you planning to live on the money that Fabi’s parents left her or what?” She asks about the earrings, (Sofía’s earrings) but then Ramón explains that the only woman he loves is Fabiola.

Over in Tijuana, where Sofía and her father live, he is on the phone and Sofía comes in. They talk about the guy she was supposed to marry and he says that the woman who claimed to be pregnant with his child has now disappeared. “Disappeared, or you did something to make her disappear?” “Oh it’s all the same thing, it really doesn’t matter. You will get married in a week.” Sofie does not look happy about this news.

Back at Fabi and Andrea’s place, both Antonio and Marg are trying to talk some sense into Fabi. “Are you pregnant?” says Marg. “No, of course I’m not”, says Fabi. “We are in love, is that so hard to understand?” “Love is not enough for marriage” says Tío Antonio. “You need much more and you need to get to know each other a lot more.” But Fabi is adamant and stubborn. “You don’t need to worry about me. Why don’t you trust me!”

At Benito’s place, he mixes up some of those drugs in a glass of horchata to serve his mother. Ada comes home and asks if Fredes is going to drink it. “No, I don’t think so, you can have it.” So Ada picks it up and drinks it. Benito doesn’t know because he just went to the other room.

Juana returns back to the apartment and here comes Fabi out with her suitcase announcing that she is going to go live with Ramón. Even Andrea asks her to think it over. But Fabi leaves in a huff.

Over at Roxy’s place, she and Diego are having a pizza and she suddenly gets a pain in her abdomen. Diego walks with her to the bedroom. Diego calls his father to tell him that his mother is not well and to please come over ASAP.

Marg, Julio, and Jorge discuss together the situation of Fabi and Ramón. Then Julio says it can’t work because Ramón is a mechanic. Marg kind of rolls her eyes about this and changes the subject to Osvaldo. She asks if Julio has had any contact with him and advises him to make up with Os.

Osvaldo and Emilia are together and Emilia says she is so glad he and her daughter broke up. They start to kiss, when his phone rings. It’s his dad, Julio. Osvaldo does not want to speak to him nor does he want to have anything to do with him. He tells Emilia that he is tempted to change the number on his phone so he won’t hear from his father again because he cannot forgive him.

After Ada drinks the horchata, she is knocked out and can hardly stay awake. She goes to bed but Benito doesn’t seem to know she was the one who drank the horchata with the drugs.

Horrortensia arrives at Juana/Andrea’s place with some spinach quiche for dinner. “Go warm this up” she orders Juana. She asks for Fabi and Andrea informs her that she left to go live with Ramón. Of course, Horror is very angry and says that her son must be turning over in his tomb. Finally, she gets a sharp pain in her head and leaves.

Fabi arrives at Ramón’s with suitcase in hand saying she is moving in. Ramón tries to talk some sense into her letting her know that this is not the way to do things. He doesn’t want to start their lives with the whole family angry. He pleads with her about the whole thing. Ramón says she should go home because it’s the right thing to do. However, Fabi does not want to go home. Ramón tells her that she can go stay in a hotel and tomorrow they can all calm down and explain it to his mother and to the family.

Cynthia: Who's the actress in the Red dress ?

Thank you Cynthia. It really was Friday the 13th wasn't it? Wow. So Ramoon you can have Thigh Gap Stalker from Hell, Daughter of Chapo, or Flakier than Mrs. Paul's Pie Crusts Medina, Good Luck Son.

I hope Roxie is not faking it and is really in trouble. Unfortunately for the unborn, she does not deserve to live.

Poorfie is such a nice man and the two 'after' him are neither a real catch. One is sneaky and dishonest, the other considers Poorf a consolation prize, a "better than no one" substitute. My my, most of these desirable men need to move away and fish in a different pond. Nothing but Sharks and Gar in this one!

Cynthia, the screen shots were sensational.

Excellent recap! Thank you so much for your conversation translations that add so much!

I think it was you Kirby who christened Fabi as "adorable". Right you are. It appears she is also very impetuous. It is a tad bit quick to get married. I understand her family's concern, although not the snobbishness ("mechanic" as though it is a fatal disease). Fabi, the spoiled princess, shakes her pretty little head and goes ahead and does what she wants anyway. This time her rash plan is an ill advised move to Ramon's, guaranteed to raise her family's ire. Even Ramon knows that Fab showing up at his doorstep is going to exacerbate the situation.

I want to think Porf felt a tad bit guilty about the kiss with Marg because of the petty greeting he gave Vero. That was childish and uncalled for despite the fact we know Vero is scamming him one way or the other. I do think Marg and Porf are well matched and I like her lightness when she is with him. All Antonio will bring her is uneasiness as she will be jealous of Roxy and not accepted by Diego.

Something is definitely wrong with Roxana - perhaps related to the pregnancy. I hope she doesn't lose the baby...

I don't like Fredesvinda who is showing to be cruel and manipulative. I hope Benito moves out pronto.

So, Ramon and Fabi are happily planning their future. Sofia is again backed into a corner by her father. No doubt she will flight...could these two story lines possibly be on a collision course??

Thanks again Cynthia!

Diana

...Rulo must be in jail??

Diana

" I hope she doesn't lose the baby..." me to...I hopeo we can wait a while and
The Baby Lose HER ! :-)

Kirby: She's faking it!

Thank you, Cynthia.

"Hey!!!! Let's get married" kind of reminds me of the quickie marriage in Doble Vida.

Roxy seemed to suddenly have cramps while she was talking to Diego , so it seems that she may be having a miscarriage. I do not know where this story is heading.

Susy...as in illness only strikes when it has an audience, with Roxie?

Kirby..It seems as though she is having a miscarriage because the cramping happens suddenly . She seemed fine one minute and in pain the next. She couldn't even talk to Ant on the phone. Will she miscarry , but hide the truth from Ant?

If I thought Fab-'N-dasheets really had any legal claim to the money I would want Ramoon to go ahead and marry her NOW, just to put the screws to Frankenfarter.

But as I understand it, the whole lump was left to Wanna? with the implicit understanding that she would use it on the girl's behalf, rather than give it to a gambleholic boyfriend/scammer.

It would be much easier for a Hubba/Wifey team to fight Francisco and Horribowels than for Fabi and "That Mechanic". And that just irks me, as I have had many a missing knuckles over the years from misbehaving wrenches. I would love for one of these pansy-handed elite (they think) to have to ask that mechanic to get their car running again. Grrrrrr

Susy thanks. Not my realm of expertise. Your explanation makes sense. OH NO, Mr Bill....another fake preg if she miscarries and hides it?

Porfi, a check magnet with not one but two women after him...one baking brownies. #whodoesntlikebrownies. Is Marg one of those people who is only interested if someone else wants the person. If Marg ends up with POrfi, who does ANt get?

I have had enough of the Mama's boy storyline.

Maybe Roxana will have a high-risk pregnancy and Antonio will move in to take care of her and Diego to save "his" baby ... then when the baby is born he/she will only be able to live if he/she gets a blood transfusion from his daddy, you know, 'cause only his real Daddy has the same type of rare blood!

Anonymous...yes, if ROxy does not miscarry, there has to be a way for the real daddy to be revealed.

Cynthia, you always pick the best screenshots..and, of course, the narrative is incredibly written. Thank you!

ITA that the marriage is waaaay to quick. These nuts can;t even go a couple days without having a disagreement and they think they have the foundation for a good marriage?? I think not! These two "kids" (een though they are supposed to be adults) are too irrational and immature...they're worse than children on a seesaw...and at least children get along when they play.

I don't think Roxie is faking it...would she scare Diego like that?? Susy, I think you may be on to something, she is quite capable of miscarrying and hiding it from Antonio. OTOH, the only reason she wants Antonio back is because she thinks he will make a better father, right? So who knows what this nut will do...she only thinks of herself.

Kirby, "Fab-'N-dasheets" and "Horribowels" had me laughing...good ones!!

Steve, the woman in red is no other than the pregnant Rox who may be having a miscarriage.

Diana, I always enjoy reading your comments...you have such a knack for putting things into perspective: "This time her rash plan is an ill advised move to Ramon's, guaranteed to raise her family's ire. Even Ramon knows that Fab showing up at his doorstep is going to exacerbate the situation." very well stated!

I dislike Fredes more every time I see her. She is such a controlling witch.

CHickie...yes, I have had enough of Benito's mommy. dontdateamamasboy

Thank you Cynthia. A very frustrating episode for the citizens of the town.
Fabiola should go home cuz this had major disaster written all over it. Now she Know good and well her and Ramon can't stay in that little dinky room for to Long before they start to kill each other. Over lack of money. Now heres my Fantasy wish for Ramon: His very richy Rich daddy comes lookin for him and ma.
He's a nice guy,went through hell down
Through the years, learned the error of his ways and wants to make amends for
Abandoning him and mom. But as usual
There's interfearance from evil people
Like frankfarter and middle earth lady
But Then things come to light, truths
Are discovered,apologies made,blahblah
Blah, he finally excepts his long lost
Daddy's help,he kicks everybody's but
That done him and momma wrong, and goes
Thru all kinds of changes and fights
With frankfarter and evil middle earth
Lady. My amagination is really out there. It's just that everything that's happened in the past 2 weeks I would just like some really crazy happy joy.
But the writers don't think that way. they Want to annoy us with Roxy being a real Manipulating b-witch. I wish no harm to the little one she's caring but she should not have that baby, but she will, she has to be there to annoy Tony as if Maggie isn't enough trouble. Ok dinner's ready gotta go.

Thank you
Cynthia.

Nina, having Ramon's father show up has been in the back of my mind. I like your idea of having him be "very richy" and showing up hat in hand, ready to beg Juana and Ramon's forgiveness.

RgvChick, I don't think Roxie is pretending either. It seemed all too real and I totally agree, she wouldn't scare Diego. Lying about phone calls is one thing, this is another.

Anon, I'm sure somehow Auggie will be revealed as Baby Daddy. It seems to be an unwritten TN rule that the truth always comes out as far as paternity goes.

Kirby, "Horribowels" had me laughing out loud! And your point about mechanics is well taken. A three piece suit and advanced degrees may be impressive to some. Me? Give me a man with a wrench. Hub kept a $400 Plymouth Duster going years with self taught skills and hard work. Fran can't seem to keep anyone under his care alive, now does he? Not Virginia and likely not "Horribowels" (hee hee) the way things are going.

Diana

Susanlynn, I am pretty sure Roxie and Ant will get back together. I'm not sure how though because he isn't exactly the forgiving type...I wondered initially if Roxie might be killed off but there's been far too many deaths already in the family and I don't think the writers would do that to Diego...

Diana

Nina..yes, Ramon's father is a mystery. Will we ever find out more about him? I hopeo so.

Diana, like you, I appreciate a man with skills. Plymouth DUster. I am not much of a car buff, but that rings a bell.

OT..Not much on tv , so I am watching a marathon of "Versailles " about King Luis of France on OVation that I recorded. Has anyone watched it?

Now who doesn't like a man with "skills" (wink, wink)...detention hall Susy? LOL

A couple things I've been forgetting to mention..
1) Juana told Julio she had NEVER been in love, but whe she was confiding in Pedro abouther past, she admitted to being in love with Ramon's POPper.

2) I don't remember who Rox was talking to, but she mentioned that during one of her pregnancies, she was ordered bed rest throughout the pregnancy...gives more creedence to the fact that she is probably not faking the pains. So I agree with Anon's prediction that Anti-Oh-No will be moving in with her...

Chickie..reporting for detention hall. It's my thing.

Maybe ANt will move in for awhile to help out with Diego if ROxy is having trouble , but I cannot imagine that the writers will let Roxy get what she wants in the end. I would rather see Ant with Marg. Roxy would just get bored and go looking for an adventure eventually.

There3's hardly a table in detention hall without some electric blue nail polish on it somewhere.

There's

Hehe...and hopeos glued under the desks, Dorito crumbs all over the floor, and spitballs on the ceiling...

E X A C T L Y Sure signs of a Cray Cray Patio infestation.
Dam reprobates have fun even in lockdown.

Yeah, that nail polish is all over the place here at home, too.

At this point in the story, the writers seem to want to keep us guessing. I do not like Emilia or Oz and Susana isn't a prize either, so I do not care about that icky triangle. I think that Pedro is a red herring. I still think that Julio will reform and end up with Juana . Andrea and Jorge will end up together after Julio tells Jorge that he is adopted. Sofia will show up and stir tgevpit before Ray and Fan are endgame

At this point in the story, about the only one I am really cheering on is Sofia, given what little we know about her.

A. Actually hotter than Fab. Fab is perky and adorable, Sofia is just plain sexy and HOT...WOOF factor is important.
B. Sofia is in a bad situation not of her own making, and though swimming in luxury does not appear to be anything like as entitled and spoiled as Fab.
C. She fell hard for Ramoon when he risked his life rescuing her and as far as we have seen has not faltered in her quest to reunite with him.
D. Her family is really, no worse than HorriBleh and company.
E. I am just not all in on this 'Let's just get married, that'll be fun.' whim. I suspect she would be almost as quick to go crying to Fart'nfurther after she is Mrs. Ramoon at the first (inevitable) bumpy weather in her marriage.

Andrea is OK too, I suppose, but it sure didn't take Jorge long to convince her to look afield, after her having been his best friend for a lifetime. Something just does not pass the sniff test.

The rest are not exactly epitomes for wholesome womanhood.

Is that you Julio? Trying to suck us down your into your gambling quicksand?
I see the words bet and slot.

Sorry, I'd rather donate a little blood and a knuckle or two to my boat engine than gamble.

Kirby..I am in agreement with you. I would rather keep what I have than gamble on the chance of getting more. however, some are content to take a chance on a lottery ticket, a sporting event, a friendly poker or pinocle game, or a small bet at a race track and lose or win a small amount and walk away. Then, there are folks like Julio who are addicted and even when winning will play until they lose. We sometimes go to rock concerts at a casino , and I find it very depressing to walk through the casino to the venue.
I was just thinking that poor Virginia will live on in the opening...unfortunately sniffing Julio's shirt.

Pass the Doritos...I'm just too conservative, and possibly too smart to gamble. I prefer to know the outcome beforehand and I understand that almost any gambling is stacked against the individual, except maybe a friendly poker game among friends.

I insist on knowing at the getgo that if I lay out $600, for instance, I am for sure getting a brand new set of tires for my something. I generally am not interested in five or six or 20 tires for that price, I only at the moment need 4. But I want to know without doubt that for the agreed upon price I will actually get 4 (FOUR). To walk out and discover that lady luck was not with me today and I still have the 4 maypops on it would send me back to riding a horse. I generally don't pay a lot of attention to sales either. I refuse to burn $10 of gas saving $2 on a bag of charcoal. Like most engineers I lead an ordered, predictable life, though never boring.
OK I'm shutting up.

Kirby you care a stickler for detailed
Living. That's good.I'll just skip gamblin altogether.
Roxy did look like she was Havin some serious pain. And I'm sure lying don't
Help either.

hi there, Miss Nina !:-

Conservative and smart..okay..let's go with that. As for Doritos, the way I see it is that nobody seems to be here wanting to talk about the show, and we are discussing gambling which is a character's addiction in this show. #ontask Outlander is not on this week, so I am watching "Versailles" and getting chores done....and talking to you about why we do not gamble.

Hubba played poker in the Navy and often won....or so he says. They used to run buses from here to casinos at the shore. They would give you a roll of quarters and a free lunch buffet. We went once. I lost all my quarters in about 15 minutes. Hubba was winning and gave me some of his quarters...which I lost in about ten minutes. Then, we went to the PLayboy CLub bar that looked out at the Atlantic Ocean for drink.#shouldhavejusttakenmyquartershome

Hi all...

Kirby, I've been at Sophia's table all along. You are so right in that Sofia is a victim of circumstances (a loathsome father) and also "does not appear to be anything like as entitled and spoiled as Fab". True.

The few times we have seen her since her forced breakup, she has muttered to herself that she has to get Ramon back. And before anyone else does. I can't see Ramon breaking up with Fabi though. I fear Sofia will lose more than her heart if she continues to pursue Ramon.

"icky triangle" is right Susanlynn. Everytime I see Emilia and Oz, I want to take a shower. Blech.

I am anxious for Sophia to turn up. I am wondering if Ramon is going to even bother to hear her out. And how is she going to escape from daddy? He will be rounding her up (again) in no time.

Diana

hi, Diana. I am not a big fan of perky Fab, but it seems as though she is meant to be Ramon's onetruelove. Sofia is not in the opening shots, so I think that she is meant to stir the pot a bit !Ike Erica in Vino before riding off into the sunset...or dying.

Her wedding is in a week or something like that so she will be doing something soon.

Howdy, patio pals.

Kirby, birds of a feather flock together. I refuse to spend my money on gambling and also lead a predictable life. Some might say boring, but I am content with my animalitos. Finding patio pals here was a blessing and has added so much enjoyment and satisfaction....so big hug of thanks to all of you.

For some reason, I just can't bring myself to Sofia's table. I know she is a victim of circumstance, but I can't help but feel ambivalent about her. This is not to say that I am at Fabi's table. Kirby pegged her accurately when he called her Fab-a-flake...or something like that. I can't stand her immaturity or her impulsiveness. While there is a hint of sensibility, both she and Ramon act like teeny boppers too often.

Did you all come to a conclusion as to who Antonio is hugging in the credits. I took a good look and it's Marg. It was one of their first hugs, she was wearing a black sleeveless/shoulderless dress with sequins around the neck... I remember the dress.

I thought he was kissing Julio
:-)

And Ditto you RGV, if not for this patio and my adopted familia here I would hardly need the internet. I watch very little TV other than my one or sometimes two TNs and most of my time is spent outdoors (Florida, Summer year round) chasing something to photograph or tending to my animalitos which may have spark plugs rather than goatees.

Chickie, so I guess that means that we won't be taking any excursions to a casino in the near future. I like checking in regularly with my patio peeps to make sure the flock is all well. It is interesting connecting with people from different places and circumstances .

As much as I love Marcelo Cordoba, the character of Julio is kind of bland. I do not like vanilla. He does not seem very animated even when he is gambling.

Thanks for the reminder about the credits Rgv Chick.

I remember looking carefully Friday night but now 48 hours later, my memory is murky.

He is definitely kissing Roxy in bed and hugging Marg in another. Is there a third one where he is kissing Marg or is he hugging and kissing her in the same shot?

I still think there is too much turmoil for them to be together in the end. Marg would always come second. With Prof, she will be first. I still like their chemistry together better.

But since I'm wrong in just about everything...pay no attention to me...

Susanlynn, Julio is joyless...

I love our little patio. The camaraderie here is incredible.

Diana

Susy, nope, no excursions to a casino, I'll leave that to my sister who will be on her way to Vegas tomorrow. She as tried to get me to go, but nehh. I'd rather spend my money on my animalitos, plants or my home.

Diana, I only see Antonio once in the credits. I'm pretty sure Dish cuts off the rest. In the one that I see, Antonio is wearing an orange and white jacket and Marg the black dress. They are kissing.

Diana I was thinking the chemistry between Poorf and Marg was a recent thing which started about the time she realized that Antonio may very well be going back with Rox or at least be keeping her (Marg) at arm's length. I don't remember her being nearly that bubbly early on when he was really interested at first.

But like you, my memory of those distance events are murky.

People have tried fervently over the years to indoctrinate me to gambling, and I have given it a shot a few times, partly to shut them up and partly to disguise an outright gift $$ to them. But I could never shut off that voice inside saying thisisdumbthisisdumbthisisdumbthisisdumbthisisdumb......................

Wow..so we ask agree..no interest in gambling. I on!y played the lottery once after one of my students told me that she had a dream that I had eon the lottery. I stopped at the grocery store on the way hone and bought one ticket. Guess what..I did not win. I told the student to pay attention to the number that I bet in the next time she had the dream. My dad and Hubba's dad okayed in a pinochle league together. My dad and brother in law went to the racetrack once in awhile. Hubba buys raffle tickets

Regarding the opening photos...I saw Ant kissing Roxy in bed , and then he was kissing someone else but i could not tell who it was . That Ant is pretty frisky. ..much friskier than Julio who doesn't seem to be very randy.

Okayed = played...sorry....close to my bedtime..tomorrow is a 5a.m. day.

Wow, lots of discussion here! Thank you for all your comments.

I wonder how Sofia will ditch her upcoming wedding? And how in the heck will she be able to find Ramon in Mexico City? That is like looking for a needle in a haystack! Will she visit every autoshop in Mexico City looking for him?

I just don't understand the "he's just a mechanic" mentality. Like mechanics are a low class profession...I know of mechanics who make good money and have nice homes too, supporting their families very well. But maybe in Mexico being a mechanic is not so good?

I think Roxana is having a real problem there and could lose the baby....or maybe not? Maybe this is a way for her to manipulate Antonio into moving in with her.

I am so grossed out with the Emilia/Osvaldo thing. Gross! She should be ashamed of herself boinking her daughter's boyfriend.

As for Julio's gambling addiction....that needs to be exposed to the family and to Juana. I kind of enjoyed Juana's date with Don Pedro. Maybe a cultured older man is what she needs.

Cynthia..regarding the attitudes about mechanics...I think that it's those overalls and tees that make them look like either dancers in a male review or gigantic toddlers.

Diana, I'm glad you liked my screenshots, so thank you. I do have fun with them. :)

I don't like Fredesvinda either! She is so manipulative and wants Benito to be a mama's boy forever.

Susanlynn, Oh yeah, that mechanic's uniform! I don't know one mechanic who wears overalls like that. Usually they wear a uniform, but nothing like that! Found some uniforms for auto mechanics at this page: https://www.automotiveworkwear.com/Uniforms/Automotive-Uniforms.html

Did anybody see the previews on Univision this morning on the early news?
Looks like I will be glued to the TV this week. I'm not getting myself back in detention, so I can't say more. But it is different than any of the ones I have seen thus far on the show or MQB, etc.

I think there is a clinical term for Mothers infatuated with Sons, something from Greek Mythology, but it escapes me right now. Maybe we start calling Benito Oedipus and his Mom Jocasta, though she is no queen.

Hoppy Mundai Patio Pals

Kirby..I did not see the preview this morning, but I am ready for moving this story along. #morningdetentionbringdoughnuts

P.s. beautiful photo

Thanks. If you have a fast camera you can freeze these birds looking like they are suspended by marionette wires. #nachocheesedoughnuts

"Hon, I was at Home Depot and these nice twigs were on sale. Junior should be pecking out any day now and I thought you would like this for the nest."

"Oh that's sweet Babe, but if you're thinking what I think you're thinking, forget it. My ass still hurts from these monsters I'm sitting on now.!"
#Doritoscompletenutrition

I sort of forgot what I was going to say...I was so (happily) distracted by your avatar Kirby.

It is as though he is floating and suspended mid air. Lovely.

Cynthia, Sof has already ditched the groom once. I have a feeling daddy is going to tighten the security (if it actually gets as far as the church).

Sofia is cornered. Again. She will run of course but does she have any chance at all? I can't even see her getting 2 blocks away without her father sending his goons after her. But her storyline needs to be resolved before Ramon and Fabi can truly move on. I suspect she will somehow find Ramon but I only see darkness for her after that.

Kirby, I did not see the previews and am very intrigued by what you noted...uh oh...

Your shot reminded me I'm still hungry. My apple for lunch didn't do it.

Diana

Susanlynn,"gigantic toddlers".Now that
Had me laughing out loud for awhile. I
Remember those overalls being called
Dungaries, had something to do with dung....I duno. Cleaning it off stuff.
I really like Don pedro, he's a sweet
Old gentleman. Juana is dressin like an older woman, and I don't think she's
There yet. That old that is.I hope she
Is paying close attention to everythin
g he is teaching her, cuz she's gonna
Need it in the not so distant future.
Julio looks like he could get really desperate if Things start to go down hill with the Gambling. Of course he did win a boat Load of moneyfriday, but he could get Cocky. People have been known to kill Over money, and he has already shown us How much he detest Don pedro spending Time with jauana.

I have another fantasy for jauana and
Don pedro: She actually falls in love with him. They get married amidst all
The Noise of middle earth lady saying "shes just A maid". That is honorable work, and sometimes you get left a boat
Load of money, and you don't have to share it with the spoiled brats of the
People that left it to you. Anyways he
Has a horrible.. something(I hope not, but you know how these soaps/tbs are). They throw us a curve ball. She is set
For life cuz lawyers make good money in any country. That's if he don't have
Any greedy children or disgruntled exs
That may have settled in Texas. That's what I like about these little tails of love won and lost. You can turn them any which way you want.In your mind:)
Anyways jauana is like a blank slate. Now we saw abit of her past with her mother....and don't she have a sister?
Maybe they'll let us have a looksee in about ray's daddy.I just want better for her, she's humble which is always good. I just don't want her to be a doormat.
Don pedro has taken a likin to her. We
Shall see if there's any hope for the
Gambler.

Also I think it will probably take Jorge To straighten out greedy dad and his Cocky brother who thinks he's mr hotstuff in a muffin pan. He's doin mother and daughter and neither one of
Them is a prize. Then again neither is
Ozzy.that will not end well.

Nina, yes, a maid is honorable. And very hard work.

One of the ways I put my self through school was by housecleaning. I was particularly looked down upon in 1 home with a teenage son who viewed me with barely concealed haughty scorn. It stung a bit at first but then I basically just smiled at him and ignored him. I have many faults but appreciating those who are overlooked and/or undervalued isn't one of them.

Nina, "hotstuff in a muffin pan". You've made me smile again.

Diana

Diana, smiling and ignoring is sometimes the best defense. I taught in a wealthy suburban senior high and those kids could be haughty...putting it nicely. "I'm going to Colorado skiing over vacation. Where are you going , Miss W.?"

Good Afternoon, Everyone!

Susy, "gigantic toddlers" had me laughing especially when I tried to visualize it...suckers in mouth and wrench rattles in hand LOL

Diana, Sofia is dead set on getting away and if she finds any little opportunity, I think she is going to dash out the door and somehow find Ramon right away...where there's a will, there's a way.

Kirby, "Twigs for Twiggy," that bird looks like it needs some fish to fatten it up.

BTW, I checked the TV schedule and looks like no Ramoon on Wednesday.

No Ramon Wednesday? O no! Say it ain't so! Well I'll find something else to watch. Lots of new stuff on.
Yeah it is hard work, you're cleanin up after grown up ass people who at times
Make a mess and dont care cuz you're gonna clean it up ,which is what you are paid to Do. There are n a s t y people out there. But uou do your job
And smile all the way to the bank.
