Papa a Toda Madre #23 2.15.18: If Two Snakes Kiss, Do They Poison Each Other?
Or Fabian Shows Us What He is (Truly) Made of
Mauricio tells Renee that he knows she doesn’t like Kika. In fact, he could say she’s jealous. He runs out as Renee huffs and looks at Anifer, who shrugs.
At home, Veronica asks Tono to please clean the house a little for their guests. Tono nods but wonders who is going to cook. He suggests they order take out and Veronica finally agrees as Tono doesn’t know how to cook well. Veronica then asks him to please behave, so her boss sees how close their family is, but the dinner doesn’t guarantee that he will be hired. Tono understands and offers to tell his best jokes to see if her boss lightens up. Veronica laughs and nods.
The next day, Mauricio tells Fabian that Kika is beautiful, sexy, and even gets along with Anifer. Fabian asks if he trusts her, and all she says, and Mauricio is sure she is the persons she says she is. Fabian is still unsure, as it seems Mauricio likes Kika for other things, and not business, but Mauricio takes the hint and assures Fabian that he will separate business from pleasure.
At the hospital, Baldo demands to know why Jorge is still there when the doctor comes and announces that Yuriria has woken from the coma and wants to talk to her children. Jorge hopes this shows them the power of prayer but Baldo scruffs and walks away with Lili.

. Next morning Fede tells Raq he and Mia will support her with anything she decides regarding Benji.
. Raq admits to being scared OF and FOR Mia.
. Santi rather reluctantly shares with Lola & Nico the information Ant passed on regarding Attack Guy and Garrido being involved in the accident. One of them confessed to helping provoke the accident and robbery was the motive. No news on Caro's killer, though.
. Ant and Nando strategize. Ant says it's so logical that it happened the way AG says it did, but something doesn't add up. When the two approached the crashed vehicle, they didn't have time to look for the money before they heard sirens heading their way. Ant muses, but then how did Dam's fingerprints get on the gun that killed Caro and why was it Santi's pappi's gun? AG claims only Dam was on the ground. (Flashback to the two guys doing their thing.)

Papá a toda madre Wednesday 2/14/18 Capítulo 22: The Legendary Bad Penny Always Turns Up
Officials from the city visit Nerón and close his business down. Nerón first begs them not to but is told that he can either comply or end up in jail. He is then incensed. He knows that they want a bribe but he isn't going to give them one. He is an honorable man. There is no reason for them to close down his tire business. They tell him that he better take his complaint to the Public Ministry as they put up huge “closed” signs sealing the doorways of his business. Pablo tries to calm Nerón down and asks if he wants him to go with him to contest the action. Nerón says sure but only up to the door so they don’t get wind of him being here illegally and send him back to Guatemala.
Back at the school, Renée asks the priest to clarify what a normal and traditional family is. No problem there: it is one that is created by the Church in holy matrimony consisting of a father, a mother and children. She then asks what he thinks about single mothers and the kind of family she had with her mother and herself. Would he not consider that a family? The priest and the nun answer in unison and the answer is “NO”. The nun makes it clear that there is only one kind of family and Father Cutberto described it. Renée finds it unbelievable that they would expel a little girl for just asking questions that are age appropriate. She does not live in a bubble and realizes that there is so much more out there beyond what they are telling her. Mauricio agrees and adds that his daughter is quick and witty. She got her intelligence from him, of course. Renée tells the priest that it is they rather that don’t “fit” the needs of Anifer. The school is way too limiting for her. Mauricio likes that. The priest comes back with maybe it is not limiting enough since the child seems to have inherited her rebelliousness from her mother. The nun seconds that. Mauricio grabs Renée and pulls her close to him saying that Renée is defending their daughter like the mother that she is. She is completely right. This school is not at Anifer’s level. They won’t be expelling Anifer because he and Renée are leaving and taking Anifer with them.

⦁ A Chinese firedrill ensues at the worksite where Santiago has fallent about 15 feet off the ladder. The ambulance comes and loads him up and Carolina meets the kids at the hospital. He's going to need surgery and a nail put into a fractured leg.
⦁ Excited discussions at Legato that Federico overheard makes him surmise correctly that Papi has something on the side he's been trying to hide. He and Damian go to lunch together. He walks all around the topic to get a response from Daddy Dam; Dam accuses Fede of accusing him of something untoward.
⦁ At the hospital, Carol and Lola confront the head of accounting/insurance agency? about their lack of insurance suddenly now due to a couple of unmade payments. Caro had no idea and the two females harangue the guy unmercifully. Caro angrily states she cannot believe that after paying gawd knows how much money to them all these years when they finally need it now they refuse to cover this accident over two missed payments!! (Yup. You go, girl!) When she puts it that way (it sounds like the worst abuse in the world of legalistic bureaucratic power (which I agree, strict Girl Scout that I am, it is) the bureaucrat seems to back down and states that all they have to do is come up with the missed payments and the crisis is over.

Raquel
and Damián continued their heated conversation regarding Andres'
remarks about Carolina. Raquel seemed ready to accept Andres'
assertions that Carolina would do anything for money but Damián knew
his cousin much better than that. Raquel said she was looking into
things to prove her own suspicions, that Carolina was hiding
something, as this would ultimately hurt Santiago. Damián tried to
avoid further conversation on this, claiming to be very tired. As he
started to leave the room he wanted to know why that was such a big
deal to Raquel. She reminded Damián that Santiago was his friend
and business partner. He asked what proof she had and she said “You
know Andres; there was no proof.” Damián did an about face,
deciding he needed to speak to Andres right away. As he left the
room Raquel called Santiago's cell phone, which
was in the bedroom on the nightstand near Carolina.

moment.
At La Chapianeca Restaurant, Juan Perez meets with Falcón
and asks how he can be of service. After Falcón shows him his phone and tells
him they must wait for orders, Perez agrees to wait, but wants to know who
Falcón is and what it is he really wants. Falcón, however, replies that the
less they know about each other, the better because, after all, his (Perez)
name isn’t Juan Perez either. Perez backs down and agrees to wait for orders
from higher up without any more questions. (OMG is it a Fisher Price takeover?)

Caer en Tentacion #84/85, 2/9/18: Carol is determined to end the guilt; and Raquel finds out that Carol has been cheating on Santi (or does she?).

Mia is in the hospital with Damian when he speaks and says “Carolina” Mia asks “do you remember who Carolina is?” he whispers again “Carolina” and starts going into convulsions, Mia begins to panic and starts yelling for a nurse to come. A nurse comes in and asks Mia to please leave. Mia looks stressed and is panicking.
At Raquel’s house Santi comes to see Benji, Raquel hands Benjamin to Santi. Santi gets Benji and says lets go home and Benji {who in my opinion is the best actor in this TN} says “a la casa”. Santi asks Raquel “how did you do it how did she change her mind?” Raquel replies “She is going to give up custody, it’s complicated.” “you will be able to come visit him any time, as often as you want, you will be with him forever “ Santi wonders what Raquel means by come see him as often as you like and says “What do you mean come as often as we can, Lola Nicolas and I are his family”, “look at me I'm not your enemy, he will be fine, I only ask you to please understand” she asks him to be patient he wonders why he always has to be the one to understand.

Papa a Toda Madre; Capiítulo 19, Friday, February 9, 2018; The Neighbors meet Rodrigo and Rafael, Renée’s new Tenants
We left off yesterday with Mauricio meeting Kika Braun at
the toy expo, who seems to recognize him, but he doesn’t seem to know her. But
she being very beautiful and sexy, of course wants to know her and can’t
believe he cannot remember her. [Don’t fall for this Mauricio, it looks like a trap!]
She introduces herself and says that she thought he might have recognized her
from being online. “My name is Chiquinquirá Braun, but everyone calls me Kika.
See this magazine? I found you in this magazine.” Mauricio says, “It sounds
like destiny to me, since this is such a coincidence.” The magazine refers to Mauricio
as #11 most sought after bachelor. Maur says, “Well I know I didn’t make the
top 10, but at least I’m still in the ranking, right?”
Kika looks over at Mauricio’s display at the expo, and
says, “Are those yours? Well I guess I’ll make the rounds here, but I’ll be
right back.” Mauricio promises not to move

Santiago is getting an earful from Lisa over the phone. She only *thinks* Vic could have killed Caro, well, because he's acting so strange. She tells him Vic keeps talking to Caro as if she were there. Lisa heard him say it wasn't his fault, to leave him in peace. She's scared. If he didn't kill her, why is he so tormented. Santi tells her he's on his way. They won't call the police until after he gets there, otherwise they'll get him a lawyer and he'll lawyer-up. Vic comes into the room and wants to know if she was talking to the police. She says she was talking to Santi. He gets violent and starts shaking her and yelling at her. Then he "sees" Carolina. He races out of the house to catch up with "her."
Cintia and Nando are sitting together in Raquel's living room. They have some quiet moments as Nando says he needs to see her; he likes being with her; he likes talking to her; being with her is good for him; she makes him feel good. This leads to a gentle kiss.

Veronica meets with her boss in his office, not to reprimand her, but to offer her a promotion to Director of Innovation and Systems, if she accepts.
Moments later, Veronica comes out of the boss’ office and tells the secretary that the meeting went better than expected and they even gave her the day office. The secretary suggests she enjoy her day and Veronica decides to send it with her family. The secretary then hands her the address she requested, and Veronica thanks her.
At Logatoys, Mauricio and Fabian meet with Falcon to discuss the Miami trip. Leopoldo explains that Mauricio will have to pay his way if he wants to go. Mauricio argues that the trip is for Logatoys, to put them back on the map as an international brand, but Falcon shakes his head. Mauricio thinks he is trying to sabotage his company and Falcon finally agrees to pay for the trip, but he wants immediate results. Mauricio laughs and thinks it’s obvious he will get them.

Caer en Tentacion #80/81, 2/7/18: The Party of Doom (#77 according to Uni)
Take aways from this episode:
(1) I don't think Vicente killed Carolina, I believe he was involved in some way with the accident that happened but I do think that he loved his sister and although he was blackmailing her he would never have killed her.
(2) Mia is way up on my list, I truly believe that she is mentally unstable. She makes up lies, she's obsessive and she manipulates people in order to get her way, but what puts her high on my list is that she seems to believe that once Damian wakes up they will be a perfect family. I'm wondering to what she would have done if she found out that Damian was with Carolina- would she kill to keep her "perfect family" together? I'm gonna say yes.
(3) Carolina is a salty b*tch
(4) Raquel has really nice arms.
(5) Nicolas has really cute bed sheets.

(1) I don't think Vicente killed Carolina, I believe he was involved in some way with the accident that happened but I do think that he loved his sister and although he was blackmailing her he would never have killed her.
(2) Mia is way up on my list, I truly believe that she is mentally unstable. She makes up lies, she's obsessive and she manipulates people in order to get her way, but what puts her high on my list is that she seems to believe that once Damian wakes up they will be a perfect family. I'm wondering to what she would have done if she found out that Damian was with Carolina- would she kill to keep her "perfect family" together? I'm gonna say yes.
(3) Carolina is a salty b*tch
(4) Raquel has really nice arms.
(5) Nicolas has really cute bed sheets.

Papá a toda madre Wednesday 2/7/18 Capítulo 17: You Can't Get Blood From a Turnip--OR--A Leopard Cannot Change its Spots
Valentina is sitting waiting for her mother in a hotel lobby with her suitcase all packed. She listens to her dad on her phone saying that he will come and get her but does not answer. Finally, Valentina gets up and goes to see the desk clerk and asks to call the room of Sra. Goyeneche. The desk clerk tells her that she has checked out a couple of hours ago with her companion but she did leave a note for Valentina. It says: "Forgive me, daughter. I really thought it over and you are going to be better off with your father. Kisses, Mommy." Valentina puts down the note and calls her dad.
A completely depressed Valentina is driving home with Jorge. Jorge doesn’t need to hear anything from her. The important thing is that she reconsidered and that they are going home. Jorge tells her that the next time she doesn’t understand something to just remember that whatever he does, he does for her and her brother’s own good. He adds that he does not say it often or enough, because he was never taught to do it, but she and her brother are his children and he loves them. Valentina can only cry. They are the most important things that he has.

Caer en Tentacion #78/79, 2/6/18: Choose Or Lose; More Accusations and Recriminations

- Damian, eyes wide open, listens to Santiago's threats to make him pay for all the harm he's done his family, not least of which is killing his unborn child in the carwreck and taking away Benji. Dam's vitals go haywire from angst and the med staff races in along with Raquel at that point. Santi and Raq are shooed out.
- Santi asks what's to become of them now that Dam's awake. Raq admits she's torn and must take care of her family first. He tells her he'll wait till the dude gets well, then he'll give the guy what he deserves. He leaves the hospital totally depressed.

Veronica thinks it’s good that Renee is going to live with Lupe so she can get to know him, lest we have another Alejandro situation on our hands. Either way, she warns Renee to not confuse love with companionship and tells her it’s okay to make a mistake because she’s only human.
Mauricio chides Anifer for calling him “dad” but she wants to pee, desperately. They try to go into the men’s room but it’s being cleaned so Anifer asks him to take her to the woman’s bathroom, as she’s scared that another Enriqueta will kidnap her. Once inside, Anifer goes to pee in a stall and Mauricio decides to pee in another stall. He goes inside one as three women walk in and he comes out once he’s done. The woman are shocked to see he’s there and begin to scream and berate him as Mauricio asks Anifer to come out so these women can see he’s only there for her.

lied to Santiago, telling him that she had been speaking to Lisa, who
sent kisses and wishes to Benjamín on his happy occasion. Santiago
was feeling amorous enough to get close and begin a kissing session
with her despite the party going on in the living room. He had just
kissed her when Florencia walked in to check on whether she needed
any help. Carolina told her she didn't and told her to go back out
and enjoy herself. Just as Santiago left with the beers meant
Carolina's cell rang. She looked down and lied.

Papá a Toda Madre, Episode 15, 2/5/2018: Mau Gets a Clue, But Is Still CLUELESS!

Previously: At Logatoys, Mau, Fabian and Anifer arrive
with the toys and are greeted by Falcón who has with him the new council.
Falcón explains that after their last meeting, it was obvious to him that Mau
has been maturing. When Falcon reminds Mau that Mau decided that Falcón would
not be involved in any decisions related to creations, Mau assumes that Falcón
formed a council behind his back. Falcón denies going behind Mau’s back and
justifies that he just wanted to equalize the decision-making authority by
bringing in a council made up of very talented people. After Mau retorts that
Falcón can’t do such things without consulting him, Falcón tells him that will
change because from now on, every decision Mau makes will be evaluated by the
council…and Mau will be able to decide NOTHING of his own accord (for the
benefit of Logatoys, or humanity in general?).
At Renée’s house, Loopy calls and says, “Is everything
ok? You sound very discouraged, baby.” Renée responds that she just got home
from a meeting with Adriana, her advisor, who told her that the people from
Maryland came up with something else that she was not expecting. (Loopy hears: Move
quick, it is easier to catch a wounded rabbit.)
